Leftists Decry Straight Black Men as
´The White People of Black People´

Independent Review Journal, by Pardes Seleh

Left-wing writers are taking the victim narrative to a new level this week, decrying “straight black men” as the “white people of black people.” In a column for The Root´s “Very Smart Brothas,” writer Damon Young accused straight black men of having the “type of privilege created for and protected by whiteness.” Black men, while victims of the white man´s oppressiveness, are the oppressors of the nonheterosexual/male black person. “We’re the ones for whom the first black president created an entire initiative to assist and uplift,” Young, a black man, wrote. “We’re the ones whose beatings and deaths at the hands

Part of the black culture is that they cannot be ´too white´. This leads some in the black community to doing things contrary to white culture. Some black view white culture as heterosexual so blacks should be homosexual. White culture promotes education, black culture does not. White culture promotes marriage with children, blacks have more children out of wedlock. Just so they are not seen as white. Racist just to be different.

Straight black men who made a success in life for themselves are proving that not only is it possible for blacks to succeed, but that blacks are capable of working to do so.

Success in life is not just a white trait, it is for everyone of any ethnic background who chooses to do so.

Young is saying in a roundabout way that they should all try to emulate Barack Obama. They could all be living the dream, a lavish lifestyle that they didn´t earn.

I forget which one of them wished that blacks could have their own country but I´m beginning to agree with him. They already have one of course but none of them would want to go back.

Well, look at the mess made by the ones left behind! If America was magically “their country” within six months it would be much like Africa. No electricity and no running water!

The self-described “strategic intelligence” firm Fusion GPS that was behind the controversial anti-Trump dossier has a track record of intimidation and smear tactics, according to congressional testimony and the firsthand account of a London-based Venezuelan journalist who said he was labeled a “pedophile,” “extortionist” and “drug trafficker” after criticizing one of Fusion’s clients. “I believe that Fusion GPS’s business is to do basically whatever the paymasters tell them to do,” Alek Boyd, the Venezuelan journalist, told Fox News in his first American TV interview. “They are particularly good at spreading misinformation, disinformation and smears.” Boyd says he was targeted after

Actor and producer Rob Reiner on Tuesday equated allegations previously made against Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to those made against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. "Morning Joe" host Mika Brzezinski asked Reiner about Weinstein, and if the allegations of sexual assault and harassment against him were the norm when it comes to how the movie industry and Hollywood operates. "Here’s the thing," Reiner said. "Harvey Weinstein´s disgusting, let’s just say that. But Fox News had that, Clarence Thomas – I think what we’re doing now, is it’s lifted this thing and put it front and center in a big way."

Impressive. She identified a bad thing, and then identified a second bad thing so as to mitigate the sins of the first. We didn´t think we´d see someone from the Times downplay the Hollywood scandal this soon, yet here we are. "Betraying the principle of gender equality is bad. Rejecting it

The much-publicized Tuesday meeting between NFL officials, team owners, NFLPA officials and several players lasted about three hours. While there was undoubtedly a lot discussed in that time, it sounds as though there has not been a resolution on a rule change to require that players stand for the national anthem before games. A statement released jointly by the NFL and NFLPA called it a “productive meeting,” and that there will be another session in the future: Today owners and players had a productive meeting focused on how we can work together to promote positive social change and address inequality
