Reporters shaken by Trump´s tough
talk against North Korea

Washington Examiner, by Eddie Scarry

Original Article

President Trump disturbed some in the press after vowing in his United Nations speech to "destroy" North Korea should the country attack the U.S. In his speech, Trump referred to North Korean President Kim Jong Un as "Rocket Man" and said he was on a "suicide mission" in advancing the country´s nuclear weapons development. "The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea," he said. On Twitter, MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell said Trump "threatened to commit a war crime" by threatening North Korea.

Let the reporters sulk: winning again.

Panties in such a tight knot that they (L. O´Donnell, in article) couldn´t hear, or couldn´t comprehend with their intellect (supposing they´ve got one) instead of emotions (which we know they´ve got lots of) what POTUS was saying.

Do these sillies understand context? I suspect someone was excerpting those lines which were planned to shock the audiences into consciousness their consciences.

MSM are mostly devoid of intellect and conscience.

POTUS was/is calling on the UN to implement measures which will finally bring NoRks to their senses and stop the development of nuclear arms. Maybe Iran would get the message, too... We hope, but must prepare for the worst.

According to the Coast Guard motto, "Semper paratus". Always prepared.

Alas, after years and years of neglect, indecision, trepidation by world leaders, and naive populations and media whining about world peace, two tumors have grossly metastasized.

And now "reporters are shaken by Trump´s tough talk"? heh

Please cite the "war crime" to which you refer.

Per the Constitution, the president has the duty to defend the country. It is apparent that you either did not read or did not understand the Constitution.

Defending the country, either in speech, diplomacy or threats of military force is NOT a "war crime."

Lil Kim won´t be trying to attack with his army, but with one of those missiles.

I claim no special knowledge of military tactics and strategy, but NK has huge artillery batteries along the DMZ, and those would have to be taken out simultaneously to protect South Koreans and U.S. troops.
Doing that would require tactical nuclear weapons.
I trust the president to do the right thing, especially after watching Viet Nam on public tv last night, when JFK acted like a slimeball about viet nam.
One of the surviving family members of the 58,000 dead Americans lost in that war should urinate on JFK´s eternal flame.

A moment of truth. JFK had no intention of expanding U.S. intervention in Vietnam more than the "advisors" he put in place. He had traveled there as a senator, and had seen first-hand the quagmire the French had to experience.

As for O´Donnell he forgets one basic truth, the winners write the history books.

In fact, donations to the Republican National Committee have skyrocketed so much under President Trump, even the liberal Washington Post has taken notice. The Washington Post published a story on Friday highlighting the millions of dollars that Trump supporters have given to the RNC in the form of low-dollar donations – donations of $200 or less. The Justice Department fulfilled President Donald Trump’s promise to provide clear guidance on the administration’s commitment to restore robust protection of religious freedom across all federal agencies and executive departments Friday. This fix was sorely needed in the wake of President Barack Obama’s administration actions that harmed Americans’ religious liberty. The May 4 executive order that Trump signed in the Rose Garden and Friday’s guidance from the Justice Department clarified what should have been clear all along: that as Americans, we have the right not only to worship according to our consciences, but to publicly live out our beliefs. Just two or three generations ago, most Americans understood that George Orwell’s classics Animal Farm and 1984 were written to explain how freedom is lost to totalitarianism and the intolerance that accompanies it. “Big Brother,” a term still casually used to describe an all-knowing governing authority, comes right out of 1984. In the state that Orwell describes, all subjects are continually reminded that “Big Brother is watching you,” by way of constant surveillance through the pervasive use of “telescreens” by the ruling class. Orwell’s warnings about totalitarianism written in novel form in Animal Farm and 1984 came shortly after Freidrich
