Conway: Americans are ´tuning out´

People are starting to tune out awards shows like the Emmys because they have become so politicized, White House aide Kellyanne Conway said Monday. "It’s — between the Emmys, the Miss America pageant was very politicized. Our sports are very politicized," Conway said on Fox News. "And it looks like the ratings are suffering. It looks like America is responding by tuning out, because they want you to stick to your knitting," she continued. "They want you to, I guess, in this case, read the stuff other people write for you. And so they are welcome to their opinion, but how does it really fit?" Conway said those attending the

Ouch, that´s going to leave a mark, right Alec?

She´s right. I won´t sit still and listen to wealthy people who depend on us to keep them in their opulent lifestyles trash our President on a daily basis. Don´t they realize that in the Socialist society that they are pushing that they will no longer be able to have what they have. They just spout out the words that other people write for them without realizing the consequences. People are trying hard to get to America to live. Why is that if we are so terrible? If they like our freedoms and our money, why try to destroy it? I´m through with these traitors.

Don’t watch any award shows anymore. Guilty pleasure: A look at the photo galleries of worse-dressed - always posted somewhere the next morning.

This year I would say something about the correlation between those and the main focus of the Emmys but that would be racist.

Very true. Movies, by the way, are dying. And still, they are putting out stuff like Mark Felt, Watergate Leaker (my revised title), Billie Jean King Battle of the Sexes (a two-fer, feminism and gay), Thurgood (about the first black Supreme Court Justice--nice, but wouldn´t it work better on the History Channel or PBS?) and LBJ (revisionist history? Have they forgotten that it was the left-wingers who hated him most?).

I don´t watch Professional football any more. I watch college football, which is more exciting anyway. I mute all commercials on ESPN during those games.

I won´t watch overpaid athletes that trash the very country and flag that made them wealthy. They whine about possible injuries, while making big money and being treated like spoiled brats, while our military men and women face far, far more risk for peanuts and neglect by our politicians..

Oh, wait: I ditched cable a couple of years ago, and haven´t even bothered to see if the TV still works in at least a year. As for the rest of TV don´t have it here at the ranch. There is a lot to do here and it doesn´t mean sitting in front of a television set, livestock, fencing, shredding or just sitting in the pastures viewing God´s blessings. I realized many years ago I was paying 1200.00 a year for nothing on DISH. That money got put to good use feed for the livestock.

Nets Forget Obama Admin Championed
Bergdahl as a ‘Hero’ Coming Home

In a military courtroom in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina on Monday, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl pleaded guilty to charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy and faces up to life in prison. Back in 2014, President Obama traded five dangerous terrorists to get Bergdahl back. And in a flawed political calculation, the administration championed him as a ´hero.´ But considering the massive blowback that followed the ill-advised move, the Big Three Networks omitted that from their Monday evening reports. Following the trade, Obama held a flashy press conference in the White House Rose Garden with Bergdahl’s parents to commend the

As a fifty-year follower of the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys being my team, and someone who waits eagerly each year for the season to start, I really thought it would be like going cold turkey on a booze addiction to ever give up my favorite sport. The American soldier President Obama portrayed as a heroic POW of the Taliban and traded five jailed Taliban leaders for his release now looks more like the man President Trump called a “no-good traitor” who should “have been executed.” On Monday, Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl admitted deserting his Afghan post as well as misbehaving before the enemy and endangering fellow troops, confirming the betrayal several veterans who served alongside him have alleged for years. Though capital punishment is not in the offing, he does face life in prison at his sentencing later this month. Bergdahl’s plea sets up a pre-sentence trial

President Donald Trump blew into Greenville with all of the grandeur befitting a president Monday for a two-and-a-half hour whirlwind visit with his friend and early campaign supporter, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, who Trump endorsed at a private fundraiser. Interstates and airways were closed during rush hour as Air Force One landed at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport at 5:21 p.m. Three hours later, it lifted off again, headed back to Joint Base Andrews near Washington, D.C. In between, Trump stopped to greet about 100 pre-screened supporters who gathered near the tarmac at GSP, then was whisked away by motorcade to

Democrats are attacking President Trump for “dismantling” President Obama’s legacy on everything from Obamacare subsidies to immigration amnesty, but nobody knew better than Mr. Obama how vulnerable his go-it-alone agenda would be if Mr. Trump won the election. Unable to work with a Republican-led Congress for most of his presidency, Mr. Obama did what he could with his presidential “pen and phone,” issuing executive orders, rules and regulations that in many cases could be overturned by another stroke of the pen — this time by a Republican president. Long before Mr. Obama left office, Republicans were accusing him of overreaching
