Conway: Americans are ´tuning out´

People are starting to tune out awards shows like the Emmys because they have become so politicized, White House aide Kellyanne Conway said Monday. "It’s — between the Emmys, the Miss America pageant was very politicized. Our sports are very politicized," Conway said on Fox News. "And it looks like the ratings are suffering. It looks like America is responding by tuning out, because they want you to stick to your knitting," she continued. "They want you to, I guess, in this case, read the stuff other people write for you. And so they are welcome to their opinion, but how does it really fit?" Conway said those attending the

Ouch, that´s going to leave a mark, right Alec?

She´s right. I won´t sit still and listen to wealthy people who depend on us to keep them in their opulent lifestyles trash our President on a daily basis. Don´t they realize that in the Socialist society that they are pushing that they will no longer be able to have what they have. They just spout out the words that other people write for them without realizing the consequences. People are trying hard to get to America to live. Why is that if we are so terrible? If they like our freedoms and our money, why try to destroy it? I´m through with these traitors.

Don’t watch any award shows anymore. Guilty pleasure: A look at the photo galleries of worse-dressed - always posted somewhere the next morning.

This year I would say something about the correlation between those and the main focus of the Emmys but that would be racist.

Very true. Movies, by the way, are dying. And still, they are putting out stuff like Mark Felt, Watergate Leaker (my revised title), Billie Jean King Battle of the Sexes (a two-fer, feminism and gay), Thurgood (about the first black Supreme Court Justice--nice, but wouldn´t it work better on the History Channel or PBS?) and LBJ (revisionist history? Have they forgotten that it was the left-wingers who hated him most?).

I don´t watch Professional football any more. I watch college football, which is more exciting anyway. I mute all commercials on ESPN during those games.

I won´t watch overpaid athletes that trash the very country and flag that made them wealthy. They whine about possible injuries, while making big money and being treated like spoiled brats, while our military men and women face far, far more risk for peanuts and neglect by our politicians..

The drama between Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and President Donald Trump has reached absurd heights. First, there was that rather tweet from the president, which was not out of the ordinary. He accused Gillibrand of doing “anything” for campaign contributions. Gillibrand said this was a sexist smear, despite the president using that line on pretty much everyone. This all is part of the ongoing sexual harassment reckoning on the Hill and elsewhere. Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) is gone, and Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) has signaled his intention to leave…whenever that may be. Gillibrand has called on Trump to resign, as

In future battles, U.S. soldiers will have a new sidearm for personal protection. The Army’s new pistol may see more action than the last thanks to a design that has great potential for offensive purposes like close quarter combat. The Army has begun fielding the first Sig Sauer XM17 Modular Handgun System (MHS) sidearms. The Sig Sauer 9mm XM17, and the more compact version XM18, are replacing the M9 as the Army’s service pistol. Alabama is one of the most reliably Republican states in the country. The last time a Democrat was elected was in 1992, and no Democrat has won more than 40 percent of the vote in a Senate race there since 1996. The closest election in recent memory was in 2002, when Jeff Sessions won re-election by a razor-thin margin of 19 points. Sen. Richard Shelby has won his last three elections by 35 points, 30 points and 28 points, respectively. So it takes a special kind of stupid to pick a candidate who can lose to a Democrat in Alabama.
