North Korea ´preparing another

Undeterred by international condemnation of its latest nuclear test and a new round of sanctions, North Korea is reportedly preparing to carry out another underground atomic test. Satellite images taken since the regime conducted what it claims was a test of a thermonuclear device at its Punggye-ri proving grounds on September 3 have revealed mining equipment and heavy cargo trucks close to a shaft excavated to the south of the test site. Additional activity has also been confirmed at another underground access point, known as the West Portal. Analysts believe the damage caused by the recent test to subterranean

Comments:
Better start storing food supplies and water. this may get serious quickly as President Trump has not set what his trip wire on military intervention would be. setting off a bigger nuke would seem to be the case after the feckless UN warned them. The in-depth analysis and satellite imagery from "38 North" is a source I´ve used before and since and is mentioned in this article.

Might it be appropriate to keep an eye on Iran when North Korea is exhibiting dangerous behavior? The art of distraction serves many purposes.

Pardon me for a bit of "War Mongering" but our legions of highly paid, highly educated, Left leaning, champagne swilling, jumbo shrimp chomping "Diplomats´ have, after endless consideration, always decided to just give them more money and then much more money. So forgive me if I despair of "Diplomatic" solutions.

Each passing day strengthens the Norks.

So...how does waiting help America ?

Say nothing and nuke ´em now.

This morning.....not this afternoon.

Smoking either one of these countries will chill the other for years and send a message to other wannabees.

Don´t we have our missile defense up and running yet??

Shoot down their next "test" while it is still in North Korea Airspace just to show the Kim regime (and China) we mean business.

I still think Kim is saber rattling to weasel more money from our coffers...it worked with Bill Clinton.

Washington - The Trump administration is preparing to dismantle key Obama-era limits on drone strikes and commando raids outside conventional battlefields, according to officials familiar with internal deliberations. The changes would lay the groundwork for possible counterterrorism missions in countries where Islamic militants are active but the United States has not previously tried to kill or capture them. (Snip) The policy paves the way for broader and more frequent operations against Al Qaeda, the Islamic State and other jihadists. a Struggle to Make Contact After Maria
New York Times, by Richard Fausset    Original Article

For the more than five million Puerto Ricans living on the United States mainland, it was bad enough to watch news reports on Wednesday of Hurricane Maria ripping through an island where relatives and friends lived. What made it worse was not knowing how their loved ones had fared. With the entire power grid knocked out and with more than 95 percent of wireless cell sites out of service, communication was all but impossible on Thursday, and an already emotional day became even harder for the Puerto Rican diaspora.

President Trump persuaded China to freeze all financial transactions with North Korea and ordered a new round of U.S. sanctions Thursday, closing out his first U.N. General Assembly with a major diplomatic victory in his efforts to curb Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons and missile programs short of war. In a carefully choreographed strategy deployed from the shadow of the United Nations headquarters in New York, Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin called the head of China’s central bank very early Thursday to alert him that Mr. Trump was preparing an executive order to sanction any financial institutions doing business

Six days into the occupation, 17-year-old Jalil said he came across a crowd of fellow fighters led by rebel chief Abdullah Maute, including a boy who looked about 10. Detroit - U.S. automakers are facing mounting pressure amid slowing demand in the country, as Asian and European automakers aggressively ramp up vehicle production in North America, including a new investment by Daimler AG. In the latest move, German automaker Daimler plans to spend $1 billion to expand its Mercedes Benz assembly plant near Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to produce batteries and electric sport utility vehicles that would compete with Silicon Valley electric car maker Tesla Inc’s models, according to a person briefed on the matter. The Wall Street Journal reported the investment earlier on Thursday.

To articulate uncomfortable truths about the place you live in is hard – but nowadays I feel it’s necessary. Wales in recent years has been home to both a growing far-right and Islamist extremism. Among the racist neo-Nazi groups is the South Wales British Movement, whose members brandish swastikas and try to recruit impressionable youngsters to their xenophobic cause. Two far-right bands from Swansea and Merthyr Tydfil have been identified as among the most influential groups disseminating hate

The numerologist claims the dates of recent events like the Great American Solar Eclipse and Hurricane Harvey’s flooding of Texas were all marked in the Bible.
