The unlicensed driver accused of drunkenly barreling through a group of cyclists in Brooklyn says he hopes the woman he left in a coma can forgive him. Abel Antonio Pina-Morocho pleaded for sympathy Wednesday during an exclusive jailhouse interview with the Daily News at the Brooklyn Detention Complex, where he’s being held on $250,000 bail. (Snip) Prosecutors said he had a blood alcohol level of .266 — over three times the legal limit — when he slammed his Dodge Caravan into a group of bike riders waiting at a red light in Borough Park, injuring five people. Comments:
Updating a previous article, the drunk driver is an illegal alien from Ecuador who works construction, has been in los Etados Unidos for 18 years, and fears being deported because he likes it here. Are there no out of work Americans who might like a job in construction, or is it easier and cheaper to hire an illegal?

The family of the dead woman needs to sue the construction company that this illegal alien works for because their giving him a job enabled him to live in the US which lead to her death. When these enablers are made to pay they will not hire illegals.

He is only sorry because he fears deportation.
If he is deported he will return again and again.

Over a decade ago, a friend of mine was biking with friends in New England and a little old lady plowed into the group. My friend couldn´t work for several years and her whole life was suddenly changed and eaten up by medical bills.

Acknowledging that you’re dating teenagers when you’re 32-years old as assistant state attorney is wrong. A federal judge tossed a lawsuit Thursday that would have pushed the State Department and FBI to do more to try to track down Hillary Clinton’s emails, ruling the government has done all it reasonably could to locate the former secretary of state’s messages. Two watchdog groups, Judicial Watch and Cause of Action, had sued in 2015 demanding the government recover all of Mrs. Clinton’s emails, saying she violated open-records laws by not preserving her messages. U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg, though, said the FBI did what it could, and did manage to recover thousands of messages Mrs. Clinton

There is something mysterious and hot lurking beneath the surface of the Antarctic ice. Now Nasa says that it might have found the source of that strange heating – a “mantle plume” – or upwelling of abnormally hot rock, that lies deep beneath the surface. The heat is causing the surface of the ice to melt and crack, resulting in rivers and other disruption to Antarctica. Around 30 years ago, a scientist at the University of Colorado Denver said that there might be a mantle plume under a region of the continent known as Marie Byrd Land. That hypothesis helped explain some strange
