Trump admin blocks Chinese buyer

Citing national security concerns, President Trump on Wednesday blocked a Chinese-backed investor from buying Lattice Semiconductor Corp. — only the fourth time a president has stopped a foreign takeover in 27 years. The would-be buyer, Canyon Bridge Capital Partners LLC, is a private-equity firm backed by a Chinese state-owned asset manager, Bloomberg reported. “Consistent with the administration’s commitment to take all actions necessary to ensure the protection of US national security, the president issued an order prohibiting the acquisition,” Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said in a statement. The Trump administration has maintained the US’s tough stance against Chinese takeovers of

How refreshing to have a POTUS who doesn´t hand over U.S. secrets and technology to the Chicoms. Bill Clinton sold them military technology (nuke tech?) in return for campaign donations funneled through a few intermediaries. While Obie was golfing, Hillary approved the same of 25% of U.S. uranium stockpiles for millions donated to the Clinton Foundation and a $500,000 speaking fee to Bill on an all-expense paid trip to Russia.

Whereas the news coming out of the last two Democrat Administrations were always anti-American policies that made you scratch your head, wondering, "What are these politicians thinking?" (never about America or Americans), since Mr. Trump took office, almost daily things are being decided that are good for this country and that are in our best interests.

Nothing to do with National Security, but the Chinese recently gained ownership of what is probably the world´s largest meat processing company. Future Smithfield Hams and many other Smithfield meat products may come with lateral cuts rather than vertical.

Hillary would have accepted millions in donations from the Chinese investors to her Crime Syndicate and Bill would have taken even more in speaking fees and in the end she would have approved the deal.

China is at war with the US. Unfortunately, the US leadership, in general, is too stupid to grasp that they need to fight back, not cooperate with the enemy.

Women in the United States have significantly increased their labor-force participation since days past. But a new report from Pew Research Center shows that, despite these gains, Americans´ view of men as breadwinners hasn´t changed. "While a nearly equal share of men and women say a man needs to be able to provide for his family to be a good husband or partner (72% and 71%, respectively), men are less likely than women to say the same about women," notes researcher Kim Parker. This finding comes just a month after similar research was done by the University of Illinois—which I
