Pharma Bro jailed after judge

Despite a groveling letter from the 34-year-old claiming the social media status was an “awkward attempt at humor or satire,” Brooklyn federal court judge Kiyo Matsumoto revoked his $5 million bond and ordered him thrown behind bars. Prosecutors asked the judge to lock up the self-important tool following a since-deleted Facebook status in which he told followers he’d pay $5,000 for a strand of Clinton’s locks. The creepy joke, the climax of a series of other postings in which he seemed to suggest he intended to clone the former Secretary of State, was scrubbed from his account after Shkreli was contacted by

While certainly creepy, how exactly does this stack up to someone holding a severed head of Trump or . . . . well, take your pick of any of the other dangerous people threatening Trump´s safety?

Oh, wait! Since it´s against the WRONG party, it´s no biggee, but this loony-toon needs to be in jail NOW!!!!

This fellow is guilty of talking back in class, being a smart-azz, confronting authority, and pushing the limits of Capitalism. All of which are un-popular......none of which are criminal.

So long as the Lois Lerners and Hillary Clintons of this world walk free the DOJ has no damn business big-footing this harmless schmuk.

His biggest"Crime" is shameless capitalism. His "Over-charging" for epi-pens was an indictment of the fact that the FDA drags it´s feet in testing and approving competitive/alternative devices. He cornerd the market and pushed his advantage. It wasn´t pretty but it wasn´t criminal.

This is why I never post anything about politics or anything controversial on Facebook. Facebook is for pictures of your relatives birthday parties and cat videos. Anyone who posts stuff like that on Facebook is sowing the seeds of their own destruction. If I ever saw Hillary I would do a 180 and say Feet Do Your Stuff.

The court can impose whatever conditions it likes when bond is allowed - if you don´t toe the line you can wait in a cell until your case come up. If there was ever an example of someone who thinks they don´t have to abide by the rules the judge set up - it was this guy. This is sort of like standing up in class and telling the teacher off and then wanting an extension on a deadline for turning in a paper. No favors for jerks.

Washington - Satellite images taken this month of a North Korean naval shipyard indicate Pyongyang is pursuing an “aggressive schedule” to build its first operational ballistic missile submarine, a U.S. institute reported on Thursday. Washington-based 38 North, a North Korea monitoring project, cited images taken on Nov. 5 showing activity at North Korea’s Sinpo South Shipyard. “The presence of what appear to be sections of a submarine’s pressure hull in the yards suggests construction of a new submarine, possibly the SINPO-C ballistic missile submarine - the follow-on to the current SINPO-class experimental ballistic missile

Officials at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs decided in September to put local VA officials in charge of $264 million that had previously been set aside for specific programs to help homeless veterans. VA officials in Washington say the directive will help the agency’s medical directors around the country respond to the changing needs of veterans as it seeks to improve medical care and prevent suicides. But the shift has generated concern among L.A. County officials, who say it could result in about $34 million being diverted from paying case managers who help homeless veterans find permanent housing to fund other programs

Cats can often be playful, craving attention from their owners. But sometimes, they would just prefer to be left alone - as a series of hilarious photographs show. The pictures shared online feature moggies looking very judgmental when their owners try to dress them up in an array of outfits, including a rabbit hat and a polka dot tie. Others appear annoyed about having their picture taken, or when the owner tries to cuddle up to them. Meanwhile, one cat seems to sum things up as she rests her paws on a book that´s entitled Everything is Awful...

Staff say an unwritten "creep list" of lawmakers and other Capitol Hill employees known for unwanted or inappropriate sexual behavior is being circulated through word-of-mouth, according to a new report in CNN. The list keeps track of the male members most known for their inappropriate behavior in the offices, where one former House aide said that many men "have no self-control" around their female colleagues. More than 50 Hill staffers and lawmakers told CNN that they have experienced sexual harassment or unwanted advances while working in Congress. Lawmakers are beginning to address the issue.

Saudi Arabia has embarked on another foreign policy adventure by intervening in Lebanon´s delicate sectarian power balance to undermine Iranian-backed Hezbollah. Yet even working with the U.S. and Israel in trying to isolate the group, the Saudis could end up being little more than a minor inconvenience for militants whose tentacles have stretched from their southern Lebanon heartlands in recent years. Hezbollah is a regional force, with combatants in Yemen, Iraq and helping President Bashar al-Assad prevail in Syria. In a crowded field, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has emerged as the least popular member of President Donald Trump’s administration. Her support of the for-profit college industry at the expense of students is unlikely to improve her standing. Under President Barack Obama, the government took steps to impose greater accountability on the industry and protect students from predatory schools. The policy is both just and cost-effective: For-profit schools saddle students with more debt and lead to higher default rates than traditional schools. In 2016, the department issued the gainful-employment rule, which requires any

Washington - The Pentagon approved a gender-reassignment surgery for an active-duty military member, defense officials said on Tuesday, four months after President Trump abruptly announced a ban on transgender people serving in the military. The surgery is the latest setback to Mr. Trump’s effort to put a ban in place. Two weeks ago, a federal judge temporarily blocked the ban, ruling that the justification for it was suspect and most likely unconstitutional. Even before the ruling, officials at the Defense Department had been slow-walking Mr. Trump’s orders, telling transgender members of the military that they could

The U.S. Air Force said Tuesday that an executive order signed by President Donald Trump doesn´t solve its massive pilot shortage as intended. Trump´s order allows the Air Force to recall up to 1,000 retired pilots to active duty to ensure it has enough aviators who are combat-ready. By law, all branches of the military are typically only allowed to bring back 25 officers at a time. But the Air Force is short 2,000 pilots as of last week, and pilot recalls aren´t sufficient to meet needs. "We appreciate the flexibility, but we want pilots with more than just a three-year commitment," an Air Force spokesman told Fox News on Tuesday.
