Is The Mooch starting his own news

His tenure as White House comms chief may have only lasted 10 days - but that doesn´t seem to have put off Anthony Scaramucci from having a career in the media. The former Wall Street banker tweeted a link to a new Twitter page called Scaramucci Post on Wednesday along with the cryptic message ´get ready´. The Mooch gave away no further details on what the Post will be, though the logo and name strongly suggest it will be some kind of news outlet. (Snip) The tweets was put out shortly after TMZ announced that Scaramucci will be taking over

I´m not sure what to think about this and not sure what ´some kind of news outlet´ means. The Twitter link is below FWIW. I don´t see it as such a wonderful deal for Scaramucci to take over as host of TMZ for a day. I feel like I need to take a shower after watching Harvey Levin.and his reporters.

Read the first sentence of the headline and was sure this was about Michele (aka Mitch) Obama. I guess not...

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe — who has been the target of President Trump and Republicans’ ire in recent weeks on charges of political bias — had no conflict of interest during the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, according to his agency. Internal FBI documents published on the bureau’s website Friday show that McCabe’s oversight role in the Clinton probe began only in February 2016 when he assumed his role as deputy director — three months after his wife Jill McCabe lost her bid for a Virginia state Senate seat as a Democrat. Intel hit with three class-action lawsuits over chip flaws © Getty Intel is facing at least three class-action lawsuits over massive security vulnerabilities in its computer chips that came to light this week. The lawsuits were filed in California, Oregon and Indiana, according The Guardian. The three cases focus on the delay in Intel disclosing the Meltdown and Spectre cyber-flaws, which make it and others firms´ chips vulnerable to hackers. The company was first notified of the two vulnerabilities in June 2016, but did not publicly disclose them until this week after researchers brought them forward. The company said it had planned to make

House Committee Receives

The bank for Fusion GPS gave the House Intelligence Committee dozens of the opposition research firm’s financial records on Friday, a federal judge said. The exchange puts an end to a dramatic court fight over the Trump dossier firm’s bank records, which the House panel sought through a subpoena issued in October. Judge Richard Leon on Thursday ruled against Fusion GPS which had asked for a temporary restraining order to prevent its bank, TD Bank, from complying with the committee’s subpoena. But Leon, a George W. Bush appointee, rejected all of Fusion’s arguments against complying with the subpoena.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) said Thursday he doesn’t believe there’s a need for his committee to meet with former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon, despite new comments from Bannon about a summer 2016 meeting between Trump campaign members and a Russian lawyer. “I’m not sure what an individual who wants to talk about a meeting that he didn’t attend would be able to share about that meeting,” Burr told CNN. On Wednesday, quotes from Bannon surfaced in excerpts from author Michael Wolff’s upcoming book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.” In the excerpts, Bannon

California is already flouting federal immigration law with its “sanctuary” status. Now it’s also ignoring the most American of laws — the First Amendment — prosecuting a man simply for posting five anti-Muslim messages to Facebook. The hapless defendant is 41-year-old Mark Feigin, who expressed his opinions at the Islamic Center of Southern California’s (ICSC) Facebook page in 2016. Feigin is certainly an acerbic, acid-tongued, foul-mouthed fellow, and he admits to sending the messages. But while many may not like their substance and/or style, they’re clearly an example of constitutionally protected speech. They are as follows, as presented by the

Two top Senate Republicans announced Friday that they have officially requested the Justice Department open a criminal investigation into Christopher Steele, the key figure in the anti-Trump dossier that roiled the 2016 election. Sens. Charles E. Grassley and Lindsey Graham said Mr. Steele appears to have misled the FBI in trying to push the contents of the dossier, which the two senators said violates federal law. “I don’t take lightly making a referral for criminal investigation. But, as I would with any credible evidence of a crime unearthed in the course of our investigations, I feel obliged to pass that

Two major flaws in computer chips could leave a huge number of computers and smartphones vulnerable to security concerns, researchers revealed Wednesday. And a U.S. government-backed body warned that the chips themselves need to be replaced to completely fix the problems. The flaws could allow an attacker to read sensitive data stored in the memory, like passwords, or look at what tabs someone has open on their computer, researchers found. Daniel Gruss, a researcher from Graz University of Technology who helped identify the flaw, said it may be difficult to execute an attack, but billions of devices were impacted. MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough said President Donald Trump was momentarily speechless after he once asked him, “Can you read?” There was “awkward silence,” Scarborough wrote in an op-ed published Thursday in The Washington Post. Scarborough said the exchange occurred in a “tense meeting” he and his co-host Mika Brzezinski had with Trump after a debate in September 2015. “’I’m serious, Donald. Do you read?’ I continued. ‘If someone wrote you a one-page paper on a policy, could you read it?’” Scarborough recounted of his follow-up. First, a few thoughts on the DOJ´s reported interest in taking another look at Hillary Clinton´s protocol-violating and national security-compromising email server, a scandal about which she lied repeatedly: (1) I´d be a bit surprised if DOJ ends up pursuing charges, as that ship likely sailed when James Comey (wrongly, in my view) chose not to recommend prosecution in July 2016. (2) I´m somewhat uncomfortable seeing the supposedly-independent Justice Department clearly bowing to incessant political pressure from the president on this subject.
