Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer
to talk Dreamers over dinner
with Trump Wednesday

Washington Examiner, by Susan Ferrechio

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 9/13/2017 1:02:46 PM

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will dine Wednesday with President Trump at the White House to talk about their desire to pass legislation to protect young illegal immigrants from deportation. It will be the second dinner Trump holds this week with Democrats as he looks to cut major deals on immigration, spending, and tax reform. Pelosi, D-Calif., and Schumer, D-N.Y., want Congress to pass a standalone bill legalizing young people who came here illegally as children. The so-called Dreamers have been protected from deportation and allowed to obtain work permits under an Obama-era action

Comments:
Danger! Danger! This scares the ever lovin´ daylights out of me. Every single one of us here knows that the Democrats NEVER compromise. I´m sick of hearing every Democrats with their usual talking points describing the ´Dreamers´ as all wonderful, tax paying people, etc. I have yet to hear ANYONE mention the MS-13 gang members, who are not small children, that Obama and his regime knowingly brought to this country. Amnesty would also to apply to them.

It is quite amazing that the politicians never talk American taxpayers over dinner. That might be why we are fed up with them.

They say that there are 800,000 and some odd "Dreamers" (illegal aliens) who the Obama crew allowed into that unlawful program. The immigration authorities say that about half of the current "Dreamer" population filed fraudulent DACA applications and were not eligible for DACA status, but that the Obama crew with a wink and a nod accepted their applications without any competent vetting being done in order to jack up the numbers. The Trump crew should now institute an extreme vetting procedure that will uncover all those fraudulent DACA reciepents and kick them out of the DACA Program as they sure don´t want hundreds of thousands of fraudulent DACA reciepents to be granted a permanent amnesty by the Congress.

The House Intelligence Committee is set to interview Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) and British publicist Rob Goldstone on Monday as part of its ongoing probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, CNN reported. Wasserman Schultz resigned as head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) last July after leaked emails showed party officials appeared to favor Hillary Clinton over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). Wasserman Schultz has also denied knowing about an arrangement for the DNC to help fund a dossier containing salacious allegations about President Trump. Clinton’s campaign and the DNC reportedly paid millions to a law firm involved in the compilation of the dossier.

PART I A GLOBAL THREAT EMERGES How Hezbollah turned to trafficking cocaine and laundering money through used cars to finance its expansion. In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation. The campaign, dubbed Project Cassandra, was launched in 2008 after the Drug Enforcement Administration amassed evidence that Hezbollah had transformed itself from a Middle East-focused military and political organization into an international crime syndicate that some investigators believed was

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is returning to Arizona and will miss the final vote on his party’s tax bill this week, CBS News reported Sunday. McCain, who has been hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center suffering from the side effects of his treatment for brain cancer, reportedly left Washington, D.C., on Sunday to return home for the holidays. This means he will not be in D.C. for the GOP tax bill vote, which is expected to take place early in the week. There’s bad news and there’s worse news for President Donald Trump in new polls released this week. First comes the latest round of polling showing that Trump is the most unpopular president on record. Just 32% of respondents to a new Associated Press-NORC poll said they approved of the job Trump is doing as president, while an overwhelming 67% they disapproved. Among those who don’t think the president is doing a good job, more than half say they “strongly disapprove” of his work. I don’t know whether this is comedy or a sign that in rural America, Democrats really don’t have anyone to run in statewide races. There were rumors that Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) could become the next director of the CIA, current CIA Director Mike Pompeo would become secretary of state, and current Secretary of State Rex Tillerson would be asked to take a hike. Talk about some unwelcome Thanksgiving news if you’re Tillerson. The Trump White House has rejected the notion that this plan is in the works. For much of the year, Kirsten Gillibrand’s critics — sensing a presidential aspirant in their midst — had assumed that the New York senator could not hear enough about herself. For one day at least, it appeared she had. It had been about 10 hours since President Trump accused her of “begging” for campaign contributions that she “would do anything” to secure, and the Ms. Gillibrand, driving with her 14-year-old son on Tuesday evening, flipped on the radio looking for an update on the Senate race in Alabama.
