Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer
to talk Dreamers over dinner
with Trump Wednesday

Washington Examiner, by Susan Ferrechio

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 9/13/2017 1:02:46 PM

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will dine Wednesday with President Trump at the White House to talk about their desire to pass legislation to protect young illegal immigrants from deportation. It will be the second dinner Trump holds this week with Democrats as he looks to cut major deals on immigration, spending, and tax reform. Pelosi, D-Calif., and Schumer, D-N.Y., want Congress to pass a standalone bill legalizing young people who came here illegally as children. The so-called Dreamers have been protected from deportation and allowed to obtain work permits under an Obama-era action

Comments:
Danger! Danger! This scares the ever lovin´ daylights out of me. Every single one of us here knows that the Democrats NEVER compromise. I´m sick of hearing every Democrats with their usual talking points describing the ´Dreamers´ as all wonderful, tax paying people, etc. I have yet to hear ANYONE mention the MS-13 gang members, who are not small children, that Obama and his regime knowingly brought to this country. Amnesty would also to apply to them.

It is quite amazing that the politicians never talk American taxpayers over dinner. That might be why we are fed up with them.

They say that there are 800,000 and some odd "Dreamers" (illegal aliens) who the Obama crew allowed into that unlawful program. The immigration authorities say that about half of the current "Dreamer" population filed fraudulent DACA applications and were not eligible for DACA status, but that the Obama crew with a wink and a nod accepted their applications without any competent vetting being done in order to jack up the numbers. The Trump crew should now institute an extreme vetting procedure that will uncover all those fraudulent DACA reciepents and kick them out of the DACA Program as they sure don´t want hundreds of thousands of fraudulent DACA reciepents to be granted a permanent amnesty by the Congress.

NBC News is coming under increasing criticism for its failure to investigate why its embattled president, Noah Oppenheim, spiked a bombshell story that would have been the first to expose Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein as a sexual predator. An NBC spokesperson says the network is not investigating the matter, despite new revelations that Oppenheim sat at small table with Weinstein at an exclusive New York gala in April, when Oppenheim reportedly already knew that his reporter, celebrity scion Ronan Farrow, had obtained damning audio recordings in which Weinstein admitted groping the breasts of an Italian model. As talks of military confrontation between the US and North Korea continue to escalate, Today Show host Matt Lauer raised an incredible question: What if White House officials really did have to physically stop President Donald Trump from starting a nuclear war? As ridiculous as the idea may seem, there have been reports circulating in which WH aides suggest that Chief of Staff John Kelly and Secretary of Defense James Mattis may have formulated a plot to physically apprehend Trump before he reaches the nuclear football. These reports inspired Lauer to ask Brennan the following: “I feel weird asking you this, but you’ve

A federal appeals court on Wednesday declared unconstitutional a towering cross-shaped monument that has marked a major intersection in Prince George’s County for 90 years. In a 2-1 ruling, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit said the 40-foot-tall memorial maintained with thousands of dollars in public funds “has the primary effect of endorsing religion and excessively entangles the government in religion.” The ruling by the three-judge panel does not mean the monument must be immediately removed from public land. Supporters of the memorial, known as the Peace Cross, said the decision sets a “dangerous precedent” and vowed

As National Football League owners and players’ union representatives meet in New York today and tomorrow to discuss the players’ recent demonstrations — the kneeling, linking arms or raising fists during the national anthem — they should know how the law views these protests. This will not only tell them what the league lawfully can do; it also will reveal something about American values. There has been some confusion about the law and the anthem protests. Because the First Amendment generally treats government and corporate power differently, allowing a business to impose on its workers what the government

George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that ´bullying and prejudice´ has become a caustic norm in American public life. At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices. ´Our young people need positive role models,´ he said. ´Bullying and prejudice in our public life sets a national tone, provides permission for cruelty and bigotry, and compromises the moral education of children.´

Clinton Scandals: For well over a year now, the progressive left in the Democratic Party have tried hard to sell the idea that, a) Russia meddled in our election, and, b) that it was to the detriment of Hillary Clinton. LeBron James has been more vocal about topics beyond basketball this offseason—most notably his criticisms of President Donald Trump—and it seems that’s by design. GQ magazine dropped a story about James on Tuesday, the opening day of the NBA’s regular season, that follows the Cleveland Cavalier superstar throughout a series of offseason meetings and events. The article sketches the 32-year-old as he looks toward his post-NBA life and relinquishes the identity of perhaps the best athlete in the world. James’ willingness to take on Trump, whom the star famously called a “bum” on Twitter, hints he’s after something bigger than just basketball.
