Call It On—Or Call It Off?
American Greatness, by Victor Davis Hanson

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 9/13/2017 8:40:02 AM

Will America, nine months into Donald Trump’s unexpected presidency, continue to chase its tail while a nuclear Korea looms, tax and immigration reform are pending, and the country is torn apart by identity politics—or will it return to sanity? Presumably, special investigator Robert Mueller is focused mainly on whether former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort, or ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, or members of the Trump family, or Trump himself colluded with agents of the Russian government. Allegedly, either individually or in combination, they racketeered for money or business opportunities or for inflated honoraria—in exchange for abetting Russia’s efforts to hack information

Comments:
Hanson recites a litany of misdeeds on the other side that call for investigations. His article presents his theory of how to end the Mueller investigation.

It´s pretty clear that the "collusion" with the Russians bogus investigation is a Democrat invented diversion from all the Democrat lawlessness that took place during the Obama era. Wake up Jeff Sessions!

Prediction: aside from some financial issues the investigation will find no concrete evidence that Russia tampered with the election.

BUT - The final report will say that there was enough smokey evidence to JUSTIFY all the UNMASKING by Obama officials.

I suspect the title of the article was Mr. Hanson´s second choice but he thought better not to use the word pot.

Another solid work by VDH, great battle prep for your next debate.

In May, President Trump made his first foreign trip. The first stop was Saudi Arabia. He brought along Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross. They sword-danced with the Saudis. No one in the press seemed curious enough to find out why they sword danced. Six months later, we know why. The sword dance celebrated an agreement between the Trump administration and the House of Saud. President Trump then flew directly to Israel, breaking a protocol that no longer mattered. Yes, the Saudis still don´t recognize the state of Israel but the military the Saudis are setting up is a clone

President Trump´s biggest changes in Washington are at its oldest institution, the Department of State, which is located in the Foggy Bottom section of D.C. Trump is thinning the ranks of career diplomats, which their union president protested. From Ambassador Barbara Stephenson, the president of the American Foreign Service Association union: There is no denying that our leadership ranks are being depleted at a dizzying speed, due in part to the decision to slash promotion numbers by more than half. The Foreign Service officer corps at State has lost 60 percent of its Career Ambassadors since January. (Snip) But American frustration with

In 1989 the communist regime of China delivered one of the more infamous authoritarian displays of brutality in modern history. The Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, commonly known in mainland China as the June Fourth Incident, were student-led demonstrations in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. In response the communist regime crushed the student uprising and hundreds were massacred.Almost thirty years later, it’s now 2017, and in the exact same place, on the exact same streets, the Chinese government played the U.S. national anthem while broadcasting -for the first time ever- to their own country, the welcoming

Rumors remain about the cause of Mr. Rich’s death with more than a few speculating he was the one responsible for sharing details of damning DNC emails with outside sources – details that greatly hampered the Hillary Clinton campaign. Did that act lead to his death and is there a connection to Hillary Clinton? Ms. Brazile sure seems to be hinting as such. Check it out… (Image)

The German army has war-gamed the break up of the European Union in study of security crises that could face the country by 2040. Military planners in Berlin played out a scenario in which a growing number of countries follow Britain in leaving the EU, resulting in an "increasingly disorderly" world, Der Spiegel reported. "The EU enlargement has been largely abandoned, more states have left the bloc," strategists wrote in a study cited by the magazine."The increasingly disorderly, sometimes chaotic and conflictual world has dramatically changed the security policy environment for Germany and Europe." If the preparations for President Donald Trump’s state dinner in Seoul are any sign, he faces an uphill battle in trying to improve the often fractious ties between South Korea and Japan. The menu for the four-course state banquet on Tuesday night features shrimp caught in waters off Dokdo, islands controlled by South Korea that are also claimed by Japan (where they are called Takeshima). In a further provocation, one attendee will be a woman forced to work as a sex slave for the Japanese military during World War II. NEW BRAUNFELS, Tex. — Authorities worked on multiple fronts Tuesday seeking a fuller portrait of the gunman who left at least 26 people dead at a Texas church and how a breakdown in military protocols failed to flag a domestic violence conviction that should have blocked him from buying firearms. Even as tiny Sutherland Springs began funerals and mourning that touch nearly every family, more chilling details emerged of how the black-clad attacker, Devin P. I argued that conservatives should disassociate themselves from Roy Moore and denounce him weeks before credible allegations surfaced today that he preyed on teenage girls, one only 14 years old. So I’m pretty locked-in. I suppose it’s good that some Republicans see this as a bridge too far.
