Call It On—Or Call It Off?
American Greatness, by Victor Davis Hanson

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 9/13/2017 8:40:02 AM

Will America, nine months into Donald Trump’s unexpected presidency, continue to chase its tail while a nuclear Korea looms, tax and immigration reform are pending, and the country is torn apart by identity politics—or will it return to sanity? Presumably, special investigator Robert Mueller is focused mainly on whether former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort, or ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, or members of the Trump family, or Trump himself colluded with agents of the Russian government. Allegedly, either individually or in combination, they racketeered for money or business opportunities or for inflated honoraria—in exchange for abetting Russia’s efforts to hack information

Comments:
Hanson recites a litany of misdeeds on the other side that call for investigations. His article presents his theory of how to end the Mueller investigation.

It´s pretty clear that the "collusion" with the Russians bogus investigation is a Democrat invented diversion from all the Democrat lawlessness that took place during the Obama era. Wake up Jeff Sessions!

Prediction: aside from some financial issues the investigation will find no concrete evidence that Russia tampered with the election.

BUT - The final report will say that there was enough smokey evidence to JUSTIFY all the UNMASKING by Obama officials.

I suspect the title of the article was Mr. Hanson´s second choice but he thought better not to use the word pot.

Another solid work by VDH, great battle prep for your next debate.

Will Rogers never met Senator John McCain. Melania Trump is known for making a glamorous appearance wherever she goes, but on Friday the first lady got her hands dirty while doing a bit of gardening at the White House - while still refusing to sacrifice her love of high-end fashion. The 47-year-old spent the afternoon getting her hands dirty harvesting vegetables with students from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, D.C. in the White House Kitchen Garden, which was started by former First Lady Michelle Obama, wearing what appeared to be a very casual ensemble of jeans, sneakers, and a fall-appropriate plaid shirt. Days before the expiration of President Trump’s much-contested travel ban, the White House is reviewing a security report that aides say could serve as the basis of a new, and perhaps broader, version. The classified report by the Department of Homeland Security, sent to the White House last week, is a study of the available security and intelligence information in countries worldwide, not just the six Muslim-majority nations subject to Trump’s order banning travel by their citizens to the United States. That order expires on Sunday. Based on the findings, Trump could decide to keep the travel ban in place, or either

In recent months, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has taken to scaremongering his audience with well-worn Democratic Party talking points regarding health care insurance policy. Between yuks, he occasionally accuses Republicans of being would-be baby killers, which is treated as an important political development because, well, Jimmy Kimmel is famous. This week, the comedian was back to explain why the new Graham-Cassidy Republican "repeal" bill is bad news. There were only two things wrong with his monologue: Almost everything he said was either completely untrue or highly misleading, and his simplistic emotional appeal was completely disconnected from the real

Affirmative action privileges for blacks and (to a lesser extent) Hispanics have been a near-universal feature of college admissions for what is now approaching a half century. What have we learned since the late 1960s? Perhaps the strangest result is that the biggest winners from racial quotas have turned out to be blacks who aren’t descended from victimized American slaves but are instead descended from the slave peddlers, or from whites, or, as in the case of Barack Obama, from both. The DACA issue compels us to confront our time’s either-or: patriotism or multiculturalism? We can’t have it both ways; which shall it be? Though it would have been unthinkable at any other period in history, most of the intellectual class chooses multiculturalism. Their preference, that is to say, is not for the interests of their own country, but for those of non-Americans. This is bizarre, for while patriotism, like so much else in human affairs, is a mixed thing—often crossing over into a crass and dangerous nationalism, for example—it does refer to actual practices and customs, embodied values whereby people

The largest urban centers throughout the country are where Democrats steal elections. They can’t do it by numbers of legal voters alone, though. No, they literally stuff the results with illegal votes time and time again. Pennsylvania is a historic swing state that offers up 20 electoral votes in each presidential election. Democrat candidates had been winning it easily since Bill Clinton took it from George H.W. Bush in 1992. Then came Donald Trump in 2016 and his shocking win in Pennsylvania – DESPITE the voter fraud machine the Democrats had long had in place. To those who doubt that
