Amazon deletes one-star reviews
of Hillary Clinton´s new book

Telegraph [UK], by Staff

Original Article

Amazon has been monitoring and deleting reviews after Hillary Clinton´s new book was greeted with a torrent of criticism on the day it was released. What Happened, which covers the former Secretary of State´s unsuccessful election campaign against Donald Trump, was published on Tuesday. Clinton and her publisher Simon & Schuster claimed the book would offer a candid account of her failure and her own reflection on it.  Reviews of What Happened have been mixed, with some suggesting it Clinton uses it as an opportunity to blame others – such as Bernie Sanders and Vladimir Putin – for her failure, rather than herself.

I guess Amazon, and the rest of the Democrat media whores have taken their duty as the self-appointed "Ministry of Truth" seriously.

One advantage in the USA is if the Antifa folks want to try a coup d´état is that they won´t have to use any resources to take over the media. They already control it.

They did the same thing for Megyn Kelly´s book. Jeff Bezos is just applying all the Fake News expertise he has developed from his ego bauble the Washington comPost, to make sure that Les Deplorables -- i.e., those he thinks are beneath him, about 99.999999% of the population -- remain ignorant of the truth and thus easily manipulated. Break up Amazon -- into little tiny pieces.

It doesn´t matter what Amazon does in the least. Hillary´s national train wreck tour is more than enough to turn the public away.

I just went on Amazon and looked at the reviews, 45% are 5 stars and 49% are 1 star.

I don´t know if the "1 stars" were deleted, then there were that many new 1 star reviews.

I maintain a ´schiff´ list of of companies I refuse to do business with.
Kohl´s, Target, Starbucks, are included on that list, but Amazon is at the top.
Bozo Bezos is caught up with his own brand of Hate America, and I refuse to sustain him in any way.

The five star reviews are hilarious. You´d think the book came with a packet of Kool-aid. More effuse language you will never hear. It´s like love letter after love letter probably written by a hired boiler room operation in India for 6 cents apiece. They are really really funny.

I took a look at the first few reviews this morning - 5 were glowing and one referred to it as the worst toilet paper on the market. I figured then that the reviews were being edited. Bezos learned his lesson when the reviews of Illary and Kaine´s campaign book last summer were hilariously brutal.

Amazon is nothing more than a reincarnation of Sears, Spiegel, JC Penny and other mail order has Beens with a little bit of technology applied. We-Mart, Target, and many other retailers are not going to just roll over. The impersonallity of dealing with Amazon will eventually run its course and the buying public will find the personal service of retail is a welcome experience. People by nature want to be around people. And that is an undeniable truth of life as well as the reason thAt I have never bought anything off of Amazon nor will I ever

Bezos is just another corrupt Democrat -- a rich one but nonetheless an unethical corrupt one. This is worse than Soviet propaganda since it is being done by private citizens who try to foster an image of being unbiased but who are extreme partisans. At least with the Soviet propaganda, you knew it was the government talking.

If Hillary! keeps insisting she is relevant by continually forcing her big butt and ugly face on the general public, then it´s time to open several very serious investigations into her past illegal behavior. Let her use some ... a lot! ... of her ill-gained money to defend herself. Wonder how much she would enjoy the spotlight then.

Although Amazon lists it as #6 on Kindle eBooks they don´t list the number of copies sold, either in hardcover or on Kindle. Another source says:

"Said the source about the Clinton book which reportedly had an initial print run of one million copies: “Between us, they are nervous at S&S [Simon & Schuster]. Sales were well below expectations and the media was a disaster. They sold 60,000 hard covers first week and 24,000 ebooks. The publishing house was ‘hoping and praying for 150,000 print first week.’ They will be lucky to sell 150,000 total lifetime. It’s a bomb but it will be interesting to see how they spin it.””

I don´t have a problem with Amazon deleting reviews from people who didn´t buy the book from them. It is their website, and if they want to limit it to people who purchased the book from them so be it. Book reviews are supposed to to written by people who´ve read the book (or at least tried to read it), not people who despise the author and want to vent. For the record, I´ve panned books that I bought from them, and they´ve always left my one and two star ratings intact.

Unfortunately for conservatives, Amazon is still the best at what they do - business wise. Walmart and a few others are trying to compete, but their customer service often leaves much to be desired (depends on local store management). I live in a rural area away from the city, and hope that I can switch to a real competitor, but right now see none.

I´m guessing Simon & Schuster has a conservative subsidary that will publish a book by a decent conservative author (Mark Steyn, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, etc.) that will cover the loss on the Hillary book and its multi-million dollar advance to Hillary.

Again.

Some people may call that a payoff. And I´d be one of those people.

I can sort of understand if they´re deleting 1-star reviews that are not verified purchases, which are just people gratuitously editorializing, but if they´re deleting all 1-star reviews regardless, that´s just plain censorship. Amazon itself marked it down to 40 percent off before it even came out, so that speaks volumes right there.

Although this is deliciously funny in a Deplorable way, I still can’t believe anyone in the Clinton machine or even at S&S did not say, “Whoa! This is a disaster!” Or, perhaps they are all so sick of her they let this bunch of sour grapes go public in an assisted suicide effort.

Either way, the court of public opinion is going to be harsh and swift. I doubt her “book tour” will last through all 15 cities. It gets expensive to rent an audience, let alone the logistics, doing it a dozen times in two months. I also doubt she has the stamina. This is a more ambitious schedule than she kept when she was supposedly campaigning for the presidency. Its rather poetic in a way; last year’s campaign focused on presenting the fake Hillary!, and this year she wants everyone to know the real Her!. She could not have given President Trump a greater gift. The court of public opinion will try Mrs. Clinton and the verdict will be, “Lock her up!”

MAGA – Timing is everything.

While promoting her newly released memoir, Hillary Clinton has placed blame on several factors for her loss to Donald Trump last November — from her own mistakes, to Russian interference in the U.S. election, and the late intervention by then-FBI director James Comey. A new fifth grade teacher at Canopy Oaks Elementary is asking students to use gender-neutral pronouns in the classroom. Math and science teacher Chloe Bressack sent the request home in a letter to parents headlined "About Mx. Bressack." “... my pronouns are ´they, them, their´ instead of ´he, his, she, hers.´ I know it takes some practice for it to feel natural,” the letter reads, “but students catch on pretty quickly.” The letter also asks that students use “Mx.," (pronounced ´Mix´) when addressing the teacher rather than Mr. or Ms. The note alarmed some parents. ABC has greenlit a new sitcom tentatively titled "Sanctuary Family" about an undocumented family living in the U.S. The network says the show will follow the pandemonium that unfolds when a married couple allows their undocumented nanny and her family to live with them. The guests put a strain on the marriage of the host family but they eventually learn that “the differences both families have aren’t as significant as their similarities,” according to the description provided by ABC. Undocumented immigrants are foreign-born people who don’t have a legal right to be or remain in the United States and the

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel used his opening monologue Thursday to once again lambast supporters of the Graham-Cassidy health care bill -- and at one point called a Republican senator from Louisiana an "inbred." The host of ABC´s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” has emerged as a strong celebrity advocate for universal health care since his infant son had to undergo open-heart surgery in April. Kimmel made an announcement about his son during a memorable monologue at the time and has taken up the cause ever since. Part of his goal is for every child in the U.S. to have the same access to

Michelle Obama said in a speech Thursday that the White House is currently being led by fear, comparing President Trump´s administration with her husband and former President Obama´s administration. (Snip) “It isn’t just us first,” she said, referring to Trump´s "America first" policies. “We live in a big country and a big world," she said. "You can’t just want to help someone in a hurricane and not make sure they can go to the doctor when they’re sick.” Trump reiterated his "America first" doctrine in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly this week, emphasizing that America would put

The San Francisco 49ers Thursday night game against the Los Angeles Rams kicked off in front of a nearly empty stadium. Los Angeles Times reporter Lindsey Thiry tweeted a photo at the time of kickoff, which showed thousands of open seats. In fact, most sections in the photo have more empty seats than fans. (Tweet/Photo/Video) ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported that 63,500 tickets had been sold for the game, but of course, simply selling a ticket doesn’t mean the buyer will actually show up to the game. It’s hard to believe there are more than 30,000 people in the stadium, judging

Democratic Rep. John Lewis said Thursday he sometimes feels like “taking a bullwhip” to people in order to make them care about civil rights. “It doesn’t matter whether they’re black, or white, Latino, Asian-American or Native American. When you see something that’s not right, not fair, not just, you have an obligation to do something, to say something. They’re just too darn quiet. I really wanna use some other words sometimes,” Lewis told the audience of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Town Hall on Civil Rights in Washington, D.C. “I believe in the philosophy and the discipline of nonviolence, but sometimes

A team of four current and former NFL players is lobbying commissioner Roger Goodell to engage the league in fighting for the cause of social justice, even asking him to formally designate November as activism awareness month. Current players Michael Bennett (Seattle Seahawks), Torrey Smith (Philadelphia Eagles), and Malcolm Jenkins (Philadelphia Eagles), along with former player Anquan Boldin, sent Goodell and another executive a 2,800-word memorandum in August requesting the league invest significant resources in the cause. The memo, available in full here, is specific and thoughtful, but its requests would almost certainly prove divisive among fans, many of whom are

Lawrence O’Donnell had a really bad night on August 29, 2017.We draw that conclusion based on the above clip obtained by Mediaite, showing behind the scenes footage of a furious O’Donnell absolutely going bananas in what appear to be breaks in his show. The video, which lasts a full eight minutes, is a collection of clips from one evening (given O’Donnell’s consistent outfit) and show the MSNBC anchor fuming about earpiece malfunctions, blasting off obscenities and screaming at his staff. We were able to link it back to the August 29 show. After introducing a clip about President Donald Trump, O’Donnell pauses,
