An Ohio man is accused of driving a car into a crowd of people protesting a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., killing a 32-year-old woman and injuring 19 others, police said late Saturday. James Alex Fields Jr., 20, was booked into the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail on one count of second-degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, and one count of failing to stop at an accident that resulted in a death. On Saturday night, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the opening of a federal civil rights investigation into
I noticed that pictures of the victims haven´t been splashed by CNN. Maybe it doesn´t fit the racist narrative, but are really white, socialist, college age out of towners. This looked that way from the street fighting. The rocks and bottles came first. Make no mistake, the KKK is the militant arm of the Democrat Party.
The police were clearly ordered to stand down so my question is who ordered it and why? My theory is it was either the Charlotte mayor or McAuliffe ordered it in order to have the riot they wanted so they could revoke the federal judge ordered protest permit and blame Trump for the violence.
As I understand what I´ve read do far, the white nationalists had gotten permits and had the backing of a federal judge for those permits on the grounds of free speech. The violence didn´t start until the Soros funded Antifa thugs showed up. It will be interesting to find out which group the driver was affiliated with - my guess is the Antifas.
FTA - The officials said that if it becomes clear the protesters were targeted due to their political beliefs or minority status, the Bureau could become involved.
Gee, why do they never make statements like that when obviously radical jihad Muslims plow cars into crowds? When that happens, the authorities always say that the motive is "unclear".
#3 nails the real question here: Who ordered the plolice to "stand down" so they could not do their job of separating the protesting groups -- and why? This has become a standard Democrat tactic that guarantees violence -- always a boon to the crazily lefties and catnip for the Fake News Enemedia Enterprises and frequently ending in death -- seen often in the Obama-Clinton era, most recently in the Baltimore riots. All eyes turn to Governor Terry "McAwful" McAuliffe-- who, unfortunately for himself, no longer has the Acting FBI Director, Andrew "Clinton Cash" McCabe, on his personal payroll. This sad and tragic event will backfire bigly on McAwful and his helpers, enablers, paymasters and apologists.
Maybe just maybe the driver felt his life threatened by the mob that surrounded his car and panicked. That mob looked liked hyenas who had just surrounded a prey. The msm is not interested in facts but rather a narrative which is that all of President Trump´s supporters are white supremacists. This meme will be repeated over and over and this riot will be the go to source.
McCauliff is so slimy that it would not surprise me if he did everything he could to set this up as Trump supporters are all racists. It´s a sad statement on the part of the Virginia voters that this ever moved up from his former (and probably current) job of Clinton bag man.
So maybe they should stop taking down civil war statues and incidences like this won´t happen. The fascists can´t erase history. If the liberals want to start a fight, this is the way to do it, taking down statues. Better leave well enough alone.
Clinton bagman, financial patron and all-purpose factotum Governor Terry "McAwful" McAuliffe saw this stunt as being his ticket to the White House in 2020. Instead, it is likely to land him in jail (where he can´t pardon himself or even restore his right to vote, as he did for all the other Virginia felons to help Hillary get elected). McAwful´s big mistake was the "stand down" order to the Virginia state and local LEOs -- everything flowed from that. McAwful´s first problem is that the existence of the "stand down" order has been confirmed by no less than the Virginia ACLU -- it will be tough to blame that one on President Trump, although CNN and the rest of the Fake and Fraud News Enemedia will give it their best shot, so to speak. McAwful´s second problem is that his mole, puppet and saboteur in the FBI -- former Acting Director Andrew "Clinton Cash" McCabe -- has been gelded by the appointment of an honest man (at last!) to replace J. Edgar Comey. Last but not least, while the resulting death of innocents was not only foreseeable but in all likelihood intended by McAwful, his dastardly deed also resulted in the terrible deaths of two Virginia policemen -- their brothers in blue will neither forget nor forgive, nor should they.. McAwful, who already had the stench of Clintonian corruption on his shoes, now had blood on his hands as well.
This crap must be stopped, and NOW! It is my understanding that these punks are mostly from out of state and they are being paid by George Soros to cross state lines and incite riots. If this is true both Soros and the punks are breaking federal law. We all see the action on TV....hundreds of them with helmets, masks and baseball bats creating havoc with only one or two being arrested. Who is ordering that all of them should not be arrested? The police should be out there cracking a few heads and that might disburse them.
Where is Sessions when all of this is happening? I think I know.....hiding under his desk as usual. It is time to bring on Rudy!!!!
The White Supremacist protesters had the right to protest undisturbed, they are fighting what what they believe is a wrong on the removal of confederate statues. The Soro´s protester created the violence, incited it. That was the only reason they were their, was to create anarchy.
All the headlines are about White Supremacists that had a permit to rally. Not about the outside instigators that didn´t. Still trying to make the news rather than reporting it. Follow the money and who ordered the stand down.
Isn´t it odd that the corporate propaganda machine never refers to #BLM or Black Panthers as "black supremacists". Isn´t it odd that the corporate propaganda machine never refers to LaRaza as "Mexican supremacists".
The mayor and governor screwed up when they told the POlice to stand down. They received their orders from the DNC that were successful in beating up old women and men at the San Diego and San Jose Trump rallies. Then they bus in their communist thugs to a KKK and redneck protest? I am surprised a car was the instrument but one had a permit the DNC thugs did not. Blame the mayor, governor, Juan Thompson and the Intercept for putting psychos in the same street.
As I see in the responses, many feel like I do. George Soros finger prints are all over this. He plays the Democratic Party like puppets. Time for the real reporters to take note before Soros gets his wish and the USA, as we know it, doesn´t exist.
I don´t know if the kid is guilty or not but I do know the media is telling half of the story. The kid didn´t plow into a crowd per se. He plowed into two vehicles that were stopped in an intersection. The cars had tried to push their way through the crowd and were surrounded. We will eventually find out if he was trying to race through the intersection or if he wanted to crash into the car. I get nervous when the media hide facts.
A mob of people, milling around IN THE STREETS, which had NOT been cordoned off by police in advance for a public assembly. Just like MLK Jr of the civil rights days, apparently NO permit for public assembly was obtained by the Antifas beforehand. Do they not understand there might just be a car accident? Sheesh, are these people that stoopid or that evil??
The link below to someone´s Facebook page shows the video close up and it´s graphic. The audio is most interesting. Apparently, the Antifas were waiting for the ´white is right´ protesters to show up but got plowed into before that. Watch several times, especially when the police show up.
One of the videos I saw showed protestors swarming on the car and hitting it with clubs before the driver backed out. It was mob action-very scary. The counter-protesters were not innocent. Will they be charged with assault and criminal property damage?
I´ve only read this article of the event because I know they can´t be trusted to tell the truth. What I am seeing is the original rally being reported as "white supremacists" but I have yet to hear the name of the group that pulled the permit. Are we to believe the group requesting the rally permit put down "white supremacists"?
The Deep State is using their Ctrl Left minions to pin the violence on patriotic Americans as they redefine love of country as something ugly and hateful. The campaign of attacking Trump to separate supporters from the President only increased his popularity. Now they have turned to attacking his supporters and attempting to redefine them as KKK white supremacists. Remember how they played the race card against the TEA Movement.
Until now the street skirmishes between Antifa and the MAGA Young Deplorables have been training exercises. I believe we have just witnessed the First Battle of Bull Run in our War for Constitutional Restoration.
Considering that Ohio is a flyover country state, there are certainly a lot of radical leftists living there. As one gets closer to Columbus, the number of Subaru wagons plastered with loony lib stickers increases exponentially. The Ohio State campus is a hotbed of fruits and nuts. Collectively the leftists have ruined what once was a blue collar worker, low tax and friendly state. But then they do that whereever they go.
This whole Civil War monument assault is a rear guuard action the democrats have implemented in response to losing the 2016 election,to gin up angst, animosity, violence, to go along with their silly Trump/Russia goose chase, which is still ugoing nowhere for them. Remember the: top down, bottom up, modus from their rule book? Also the: constant and never ending ppressure tactic? Um we know how you are and you are hereby eligible for more exploding cigars.
The Nbc propagandists on this morning´s show, namely the pro-NAACP female are spreading falsehoods: She claimed that these Civil War statues were only put up in the 1960´s in response to resistance to the Civil Rights movement. Liar! The Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville, for example, went up in 1924!
Rich Lowry of National Review opines: if these Civil War Confederate statues are going to be a rallying point for white supremists, perhaps they should be taken down. NO, they weren´t a rallying point until you touched them, fool. Go blow bubbles or chase butterflies, Rich.
At Whitehouse.org, there’s a petition with over 110,000 names demanding that the federal government declare Antifa to be a terrorist organization. That’s not a terrible idea, of course; if you’ve followed the antics of Antifa and the rioting and violence they’ve involved himself in, you might well think of the current definition of domestic terrorism in federal law. That is action which… “(A) involve(s) acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; (B) appear(s) to be intended — (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence
If ever there was a news media organization that needs a jolt of energy, it’s Breitbart News, the far-right news and commentary platform guided to prominence by Stephen K. Bannon, President Trump’s former chief strategist. The site’s traffic and advertising have declined precipitously over the past year, perhaps in tandem with Trump’s approval ratings. Many news sites have come off election-year highs, but Breitbart has crested and fallen like a Pacific wave. Its traffic is off by almost half since it peaked in November at around 24 million monthly visitors. Enter — or reenter — Bannon, who resumed his role as Breitbart’s
I took a week off from the milieu of political insanity to go out amongst the normals and chalk up another huge trial victory, and when I got back I was stunned - stunned! - to find that a consensus had formed that Nazis are bad. Beforehand, I had no idea where the establishment stood on Nazis, but now it´s crystal clear. They hate Nazis because Nazis are bad. Everyone from CNN to Mitt Romney hates Nazis.(Snip)Even after a week, CNN is still quivering and writhing in an earth-shattering Nazigasm. When it finally ends, I expect in the network to
The Navy will investigate whether two US destroyers were hacked before they collided with merchant ships in a pair of recent crashes, according to a top Navy admiral.“2 clarify Re: possibility of cyber intrusion or sabotage, no indications right now…but review will consider all possibilities,” tweeted Admiral John Richardson, referencing sweeping new investigations announced Monday into two recent accidents involving Naval warships in the Pacific. The latest incident came Monday, when the USS John S. McCain collided with a Liberian oil tanker near Singapore, leaving five sailors injured and 10 missing. It was the second time a US destroyer ran into a
On Monday evening, President Trump addressed the nation to outline his new strategy to win the war in Afghanistan. After a series of accusations by lawmakers and the media suggesting that the president had been dragging his feet on the conflict, Trump confidently committed to sending an additional 4,000 troops to Afghanistan and indicated that the United States will work closely with NATO allies, as well as regional allies in Pakistan and India to resolve the conflict. To open his address, the president followed through on an important recommendation that I have made over the past week. Although President Trump could not have
Vermont’s Attorney General has settled the state’s claims of fraud against Jonathan Gruber, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor who served as a technical consultant for President Barack Obama and as one of the chief architects of Obamacare. Under the terms of the settlement, Gruber will no longer work as a taxpayer-funded economic consultant for the state’s health care system and he won’t seek to be paid any money he might be owed, reports the Rutland Herald, a Vermont newspaper. For its part under the agreement, the Vermont’s attorney general will not pursue legal action under the Vermont Civil False Claims Act. Vermont
Because, of course, they want rule of law to reign, a group of citizens began digging up the grave of Nathan Bedford Forrest in Memphis this week over his helping found the Ku Klux Klan. They only got a few shovelfuls before giving up. But they vowed to return with a backhoe to dig the rest of the man’s grave up later. Legally speaking, this would be called “grave robbing” and “vandalism,” and might even violate a few of God’s laws, as well. But none of that matters to vigilantes in pursuit against racism and racist racists who practice it. Real guts, these
The Friday firing of Trump advisor Steve Bannon has already been exhaustively overanalyzed, but there is at least one significant aspect of it which has gotten little or no attention. Now that Bannon is returning to lead Breitbart.com, what would Andrew Breitbart, the late founder of that news organization, think of what has transpired in this last super crazy year now that things seem to have gone full circle for Bannon. In my view, Andrew would be furious with Bannon on multiple levels. I am well aware of the inherently precarious nature of trying to speak on behalf of someone who is
The Barcelona terrorists had planned to turn a majestic Spanish cathedral frequented by tourists into a scene of blood and carnage — but they were forced to abandon that strategy when their bombs accidentally detonated inside their hideout. The famous Sagrada Familia cathedral — designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi — was “Plan A” for the terror cell’s devastating attack, according to Spanish media. Those plans, however, were thwarted when one of the cell’s bomb factories 120 miles to the south of Barcelona burst into rubble Wednesday evening, leaving behind 120 gas cannisters carrying butane and a volatile powder known as “Mother
Unless you work in it, it is impossible to know exactly what goes on inside any administration. The thought processes behind actions and statements are calculated and self-serving, no doubt. It’s usually not that difficult to rationalize why people acted as they did – or it was before the Trump White House. But now, more often than not, from minor to major actions, it’s often impossible to see any rationale for what is going on. I know I’m going to catch hell from some people for this, but I have to ask some questions. Most pressing is this: Is there anyone involved
The disgusting resurgence of white supremacists in 2017 America, aided and abetted by a White House engaging in toxic moral equivalence, has gotten an assist from a tiny left-wing cadre. This loosely organized band calls itself antifa (“anti-fascist”), and — unlike the broad coalition of activists arrayed in opposition to much of the Trump agenda — its members unapologetically embrace violence as the only sufficiently strong answer to those they see as enemies, even when those enemies are engaging in nonviolent protest. Down this road, madness lies. In a civil society — fingers crossed, that’s what this still is — unprovoked violence is
When a news organization reports an impending weather event based on forecasts from the National Weather Service, or warns of potential seismic activity anticipated by the U.S. Geological Survey, or alerts the public concerning an infectious-disease outbreak being tracked by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, no one questions the news organization’s motives, because the underlying information is factual and derived from a reliable, nonpartisan, and authoritative source. CNN presents itself as a news organization, yet today it posted a dubious story titled “Here are all the active hate groups where you live,” based entirely on data from the Southern
“There must always” be a flow low-skilled immigration to the United States, no matter its impact on American workers, according to Republican establishment figure Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ). Flake slammed the idea of potentially cutting legal immigration levels in half to raise the wages of American workers and end the current low-skilled oriented system to make only admit immigrants based on their skills and merit in a New York Times op-ed. Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and David Perdue (R-GA) introduced the specific plan, known as the “RAISE Act.” President Donald Trump endorsed the plan and said the legislation “will reduce poverty, increase
WASHINGTON – Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) said many federal employees are leaving the Environmental Protection Agency and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration over “fear” that the Trump administration is going to “suppress their viewpoints” or move them to irrelevant positions. Beyer, ranking member of the House Science, Space and Technology Subcommittee on Oversight, was asked if he would have full access to the “unfiltered” final version of the latest federal government report on climate change. The New York Times published a leaked draft of the report, which was submitted to the Trump administration for review. “The majority members of my committee may
Two members of the Kennedy family were arrested for disorderly conduct near the family’s famed compound on Cape Cod, according to police. Max Kennedy, the 52-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and a noise violation around 1 a.m. Sunday morning after reports of loud partying, Barnstable Police told the Boston Herald. His daughter Caroline, a 22-year-old California resident, was also arrested at a home a short walk from the main Kennedy compound. (Snip) The arrests come after a brush with the law for another of RFK’s grandchildren, Conor Kennedy, who
Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal hoped for the assassination of President Trump in a Facebook comment on Thursday then deleted it in a panic. She even acknowledged she would get a visit from the Secret Service for her comment. (Photo) Maria Chappelle-Nadal’s Facebook comment was so egregious that even ABC News reported on the story. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports: Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, posted a comment in a Facebook conversation Thursday morning saying she hoped President Donald Trump will be assassinated. The comment was removed but Chappelle-Nadal confirmed to the Post-Dispatch that she had written it in
The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Sunday gave a strong endorsement to the movement for removing monuments to leaders of the Confederacy and called for the electoral college to be abolished. Speaking at the Islamic Center of Southern California, Jackson blamed the electoral college system, giving disproportionate influence to less populated states, for the 2000 and 2016 loss of Democratic presidential candidates Al Gore and Hillary Clinton despite their winning the popular vote. “Today we are looking at a structural problem,” Jackson said. “These monuments must go. Calling for the audience to repeat, he said, “Say the monuments and the flags
WASHINGTON — The Secret Service can no longer pay hundreds of agents it needs to carry out an expanded protective mission – in large part due to the sheer size of President Trump´s family and efforts necessary to secure their multiple residences up and down the East Coast. Secret Service Director Randolph "Tex´´ Alles, in an interview with USA TODAY, said more than 1,000 agents have already hit the federally mandated caps for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year. The agency has faced a crushing workload since the height of the contentious election season, and it
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) has revealed that during the 2016 presidential campaign, House Speaker Paul Ryan told him and his fellow Republicans to give up on Donald Trump´s campaign and just focus their energy on keeping "President Hillary Clinton accountable." According to Ryan, the Republicans had no chance at the White House, so at the very least they should try to retain their House majority. The directive came during a conference call, Gohmert told The Daily Caller in a video interview and then confirmed again during his appearance on "Fox & Friends" Sunday. The Texas Republican, as you can imagine, was not
Ten sailors are missing and five have been reported injured after the USS John S McCain was involved in a collision with a merchant vessel on Monday morning, the Navy has said. The collision between the US guided-missile destroyer and merchant vessel Alnic MC was reported at 5.24am local time. The John McCain was underway east of Singapore and the Strait of Malacca, on its way to a routine port visit in Singapore. It is now sailing under its own power and heading to port, the Navy said. The crew is reportedly fighting flooding in two crew berthings and an area of the ship known as the 'shaft alley'.
A Texas college campus removed four statues of prominent Confederate figures in an overnight sweep, according to reports. The statues of Gen. Robert E. Lee, Gen. Albert Sidney Johnston, Confederate Postmaster General John H. Reagan and former Texas Gov. James Stephen Hogg were each taken down from the campus’ Main Mall in an operation beginning just before midnight and continuing through the early morning, KSAT 12 reported. “Last week, the horrific displays of hatred at the University of Virginia and in Charlottesville shocked and saddened the nation,” University of Texas President Greg Fenves said in a statement. “These events make
The eclipse that occurred over Chicago led thousands to the beaches and streets, where they gasped and cried out as the sun partially disappeared. For WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling, it was an especially awe-inspiring event. The famed meteorologist hugged and high-fived people around him and wept as the eclipse occurred Monday afternoon. "Oh, my word," Skilling said. "Wow. This is amazing. What do you think of this, this?" At another point, he told viewers, "I´ll get my act together, guys." His voice cracking, Skilling apologized for his tears. Skilling´s heartfelt reaction earned him praise from fans:
Trust in the mass media is at an all-time low. Two-thirds of Americans believe the mainstream press publishes fake news. Yes, there’s still much good journalism to be found, if you know where to look. Yet, ask reporters who’ve been around a while, and many will tell you that a lot of good journalism is being left unpublished. Good journalists hate what’s happening to the news. We have only ourselves to blame. Firewalls that once strictly separated news from opinion have been replaced by hopelessly blurred lines. Once-forbidden practices such as editorializing within straight news reports, and the inclusion of opinions as if
Students at Howard University, a top-rated historically black college in Washington D.C., took to social media to express their anger over a group of white high school girls wearing pro-Trump clothing who visited the campus on Saturday. Some tweets referring to their visit also suggested the white high school girls should be beaten up. One of the high school guests, in a social media post of her own, said they were simply visiting the school’s cafeteria to get food as part of a larger tour of the nation’s capital, and faced a barrage of insults and aggressive acts, including having
