Due to his ethnicity, we probably shouldn´t expect the Left (Black Lives Matter or the MSM) to make a big deal out of this.

It makes me wonder how hard or easy was it for him to go through the process of becoming a law enforcement officer in our affirmative action culture. Probably not hard at all. By the way, Mexico doesn´t care about PC. Only Mexican-borne can be law enforcement candidates. We should do the same here. Incomplete mastery of language and culture can be a real problem when dealing with the public.

Mohamed must have seen a clear threat from the womkan to his partner, and to him, if he shot across the partner.
There has got to be more to this story.

And I wonder if Mohamed would have drawn his weapon, let alone fired multiple times if the woman had been dressed in Mediterranean nun garb?

The first Somali-American police officer (in the 5th) who has a degree in business administration and economics, shot across his partner?

Evidently, proper education for policing.

Second post apologies, but...I have a Ruger 380 LCP pistol, and at first glance, it is difficult to tell the difference between my cell phone and my Ruger. My guess is that the woman had her cell phone in her hand, just like most people.
I suggest that we all wait for the full story.
(as a labor arbitrator, I have heard cases of police use of deadly force. The cases are never easy.)

This is big news on the net.
They had better have a good explanation for this because any cover up is gonna blow up.
The smart move is to sent it to the jury because there will be a lawsuit.

Still waiting for enough info to make some kind of sense out of this. Note body cam not turned on. If they have them, they should be on whenever they are not in the station.

here´s the story on this..
5100 Washburn Av S is one of the highest valued areas in Minnesota..
it is near Minnehaha Creek and adjacent to Edina (second wealthiest suburb)..
this area is part of the Land of Limousine Liberals..
not as high buck as 5 blocks north (Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles) but very nice homes.. yuppiesville..
this unfortunate was quite probably a "Limousine Liberal", judging from where she lived and what i read about her.. very bad luck.. (she was probably instrumental in supporting Somali Police Officers)

it is ironic that she would be the type to be a BLM protester.. it is always the people in the slums of minneapolis/st paul
that are getting killed and the LLs are out there protesting..
betsy hodges is from Wayzata.. one of the wealthiest areas in the COUNTRY.. SHE is the epitome of a LL.. married to an ex-Plack Panther..
she is running for Mayor again and is coming in third or fourth behind a bunch of people WORSE than her..
she will be offering all KINDS of platitudes against the police over the next few months..
nkima levy pounds is an up and coming Black/Red.. ALSO in the hunt for Mayor..
they both are going to try to get middle/upper class votes in light of this incident..

the MSM and the LLs are in a quandary as to who to root for..
watch this one, folks..

ps i think reply #9 is on to something

Article says the squad video did not capture the event: Nonsense. If it was on it had to have picked up the sound in the vehicle and the sound of the gunfire at least. The sound evidence will be as vital as any video evidence. What the officers were saying at the time and after the shooting will be critical.

#9, are you SERIOUS?

Can´t tell a Ruger LCP from a cell phone?

I have both and no problem telling them apart at all. One is .25" thick and rectangular. The other is 3/4" thick and NOT rectangular...shaped like a gun.

Hillary Clinton told CNN on Wednesday that it is time to abolish the Electoral College, part of a sweeping interview where the former Democratic nominee sought to explain why she lost the 2016 election. Clinton, in the interview with CNN´s Anderson Cooper, displayed her animus for fired FBI Director James Comey, reflected on her love for the people -- namely former President Bill Clinton -- who helped her get through the crushing loss and blasted the arcane election body that she believes helped Donald Trump win the presidency. "I think it needs to be eliminated," Clinton said of the Electoral

John McCain is joining a bipartisan push to block President Donald Trump from banning transgender people from serving in the military. Mr Trump issued a moratorium last month instructing the military to stop providing gender reassignment surgeries for transgender troops, and to stop plans to recruit those troops. That decision came following an order from his predecessor that instructed the military to begin considering programmes to allow transgender people to serve openly and without worry in the military. Facing harsh criticism, a Harvard dean said early Friday morning that he was revoking his invitation to Chelsea Manning, a former United States soldier convicted of leaking classified information, to be a visiting fellow at the university. The sudden turnabout by the Harvard Kennedy School came after a day of intense backlash over the university’s announcement on Wednesday that Ms. Manning would become a visiting fellow at the Institute of Politics this school year. Douglas W. Elmendorf, the dean of the Harvard Kennedy School, said that while the university encourages a diversity of opinions and does not shy from controversy,

After months of denials, the pretext for Susan Rice’s eavesdropping on Trump officials has finally been made public. It had been widely known that Obama’s former National Security Adviser had contrived to unmask the names of top Trump officials who had been spied on by the administration. And the same media that still treats Watergate as the Great American Scandal had claimed that there was nothing “improper” in an Obama loyalist eavesdropping on members of the opposition party. Every time Obama Inc. was caught eavesdropping on opposition politicians, it presented its spin in a carefully packaged “scoop” to a major media

Hillary Clinton’s new book entitled “What Happened” was officially released on Tuesday. Since then, she has been promoting it with the zeal of an indefatigable carnival barker.
