So that’s why Sarah Huckabee
Sanders wants the cameras off

t’s easy to see why Sarah Huckabee Sanders wants the TV cameras off during her White House news briefings. There is, for one, the matter of her boss constantly proclaiming things that range from the inexplicable to the patently wrong. There’s also the metastasizing Russia scandal, which keeps rendering previous Trump White House statements inoperative, as Richard Nixon press secretary Ron Ziegler used to say. But above all is a more simple explanation: Sanders has no earthly idea what’s going on in the White House she purports to represent. And so, at Monday’s off-camera briefing, she stood on the podium,

Dana, you remind me of a female vulture who returns to the nest to feed her young chicks. After regurgitating your quarry, they go to bed full. Here, within the pages of the WaPo, you repeat, or is that "plagiarize" events from within its folds. What a putz. No original thought. You sure your "columns" aren´t computer generated? Are you really an avatar? (BTW, it's not politically correct to "shame" a woman, for whatever reason.) You'll draw the ire of Hillary and Chelsea.

Anytime I see the byline of Dana Milbank, I think of the time after VP Cheney accidentally shot the old lawyer from Austin in a hunting accident (the guy was okay), Dana Milbank showed up on some talk show in a camo outfit and looked like a bad version of Floyd R. Haven´t taken him seriously since.

The only Russian scandal is that some Russian individuals have had to file lawsuits for defamation against false charges made against them in the Golden Showers anti-Trump dossier. Information in the dossier was either guaranteed false or would check out to be false. But the dossier received the endorsement of the highest levels of US government and was included as a classified addendum to the Jan. 6 so-called intel report, given to Obama and Trump, and leaked to the WaPo and others. The dossier said that Russian internet businessman Gubarev had hacked DNC computers, which he hadn´t. In another case, owners of Russian Alfa Bank were falsely accused in the dossier of scheming with the Kremlin to interfere with the US election. The dossier said they bribed Putin sometime in the past.

The European Union´s top court has ruled that the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas should remain on the 28-member bloc´s terrorism blacklist. The Court of Justice (ECJ) overturned a General Court ruling, which had said there was not enough evidence to keep travel bans and asset freezes on Hamas.
