President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., was promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton before agreeing to meet with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign, according to three advisers to the White House briefed on the meeting and two others with knowledge of it. The meeting was also attended by his campaign chairman at the time, Paul J. Manafort, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Mr. Manafort and Mr. Kushner only recently disclosed the meeting, though not its content, in confidential government documents described to The New York Times. The Times reported the existence of the meeting on Saturday.

Without any sense of irony - - The Times publishes an article which slams Trump for seeking dirt on his opponent - - while at the same time The Times is seeking dirt on Trump.

You can´t make up stuff like this.

I don´t care if Trump met with the ghost of Stalin. He has worked harder, accomplished more, and is paving the way for a more prosperous America than any other President since Reagan. Not only that, but he is a better man than any of them.

There is still no evidence that President Trump or anyone connected to his campaign or administration did anything in violation of US law when they met with Russians. This Russian lawyer was denied a visa to enter the USA, but the Obama Administration still gave her a pass to enter the USA by way of an immigration parole. It was while she was in the USA on that Obama Administration issued parole that she arranged to meet with Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner, and Paul Manifort for what was reported as about 20 minutes. More fake news from The NY Times based upon proported leaks from a congressional committee.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is facing mounting criticism from politicians and pundits on both sides of the aisle after the collapse of the Republican health care overhaul bill. Before the bill was pulled Monday night, Sen. Ron Johnson told a local newspaper that McConnell’s conflicting statements to different members of his caucus were a “significant breach of trust.” The Republican from Wisconsin was referring to a comment by McConnell to some Republican senators that Medicaid reform wouldn’t happen under the overhaul bill. Other Republican senators are calling for a new way forward on replacing the Affordable Care Act.
