Officials want Madison´s City-County

Madison and Dane County leaders are hoping to inject a note of inspiration into the seat of local government by renaming it after the only president who ever set foot near it. At a Thursday press conference, County Executive Joe Parisi announced the effort to christen the structure known for 60 years as simply the City-County Building as the President Barack Obama City-County Building. “Barack Obama was the JFK of our generation,” Parisi said at the steps of the seven-story edifice. “He deserves to be honored, and he deserves to be recognized, not only for his accomplishments, but for his commitment to

This is a "throw-up" headline if there ever was one. Obama is history´s first Erkel president and has nothing in common with JFK, except party affiliation. Obama was foisted on America for our demise, while JFK was a patriot. Obama is a stooge.

Madison and Dane County leaders must have been in a coma for the last 8+ years ... "he deserves to be recognized" - he WAS recognized by the electoral vote total in the last election that defeated Obama-III,
who knew that he was a radical ideologue who history will show failed at almost all of his presidential duties.

Allies of President Donald Trump worry the latest battle between the administration and the press could have adverse affects on Trump´s ability to get his message out, especially as Senate Republicans struggle to pass a health care bill and the administration searches for a much-needed political win. Since Trump returned from his first foreign trip at the end of May, access to the administration in the form of daily press briefings has been slowly but surely curtailed. There´s now more off-camera briefings, and, in several instances, audio recording has been restricted. On-camera briefings, watched by millions of television viewers, have been

WASHINGTON — Senate Republicans Tuesday postponed a planned vote on the GOP bill to replace Obamacare until after the July 4th recess. Senators were told of the delay at a Republican lunch by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, according to multiple sources. At least five GOP senators had said they were not prepared to vote in favor of a procedural measure that was slated to take place as early as Tuesday evening. That vote was necessary to begin the process that would have allowed the senate to take a final vote by the end of the week. Republican senators expressed their reservations about

Former Obama defense secretary and CIA director Leon Panetta says perceived “weakness” encouraged Russian President Vladimir Putin to direct cyber-attacks against the United States and interfere with the 2016 election. In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Panetta responded to Washington Post reporting over the weekend that the Obama administration “choked” in response to Russia´s interference, even after the CIA told then-President Barack Obama the meddling was directed by Putin. “I think when [Putin] conducted the cyber-attacks in the United States during the last election, he felt he could get away with it, without any kind of response,” Panetta said.

What he ended up inadvertently doing was throwing former Attorney General Loretta Lynch under the bus. In his June 8 testimony, James Comey — under oath — said Lynch tried to get the FBI to downplay that probe. “At one point, she directed me not to call it an ‘investigation’ but instead to call it a ‘matter,’ which confused me and concerned me,” Comey said before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. “That was one of

Appallingly pathetic. For eight years Republicans promised voters they would dismantle Obamacare. They took in millions upon millions of political donation dollars on that promise. They ran on it. They were elected and re-elected on it. And now some of them are breaking it. Exhibit one of this two-faced politicking is Nevada Republican Senator Dean Heller who has now gone on record stating he will effectively stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Democrats to protect the failing Obamacare debacle. Heller isn’t worried about helping Americans who need a failing healthcare system to be overhauled – a need made more urgent by the disaster

The move to paperless voting started in response to the Florida “hanging chad” fiasco in the 2000 presidential election. Justices said the lower court rulings that blocked Mr. Trump’s policy were far too broad, and said the president can begin to enforce his ban against foreigners who don’t already have some ties to the U.S. That means the president can begin denying visas to visitors from six countries — Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen — who don’t already have family in the U.S., or some other prior connection such as
