On Friday, Fox News announced the termination of Bob Beckel, one of the hosts of the network’s show, “The Five.” A statement from the network reported by Variety, said, “Bob Beckel was terminated today for making an insensitive remark to an African-American employee.” Now, the law firm representing that employee—as well as more than a dozen other current and former employees in discrimination lawsuits against Fox News and parent company 21st Century Fox—is bashing the network for not giving the whole story. Attorneys Douglas H. Wigdor and Jeanne Christensen, who represent the employee who Beckel reportedly insulted, gave a little more

Can you even believe this? Fox fires Beckel (not that I´m unhappy about that) and the attorney for the guy complaining is still not happy. This is the same attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, who on the same day Roger Ailes died. said it gives the accusers a great advantage. Link below. Good. Grief. The body isn´t even cold and he has to make such a crass statement.

Hard to believe that Beckel left his office because the IT tech was black, and was silly enough to say so. What is the rest of the story?

The term racist is so over used. You would think everyone is racist now. If you have an opinion about someone you are called a racist. So what, who cares if you are called a name. Get over it.

This happened on Tuesday. Bob wasn´t on the show Thursday. It was announced he was fired Friday.

As the case was a "he said, he said" there was need and time to investigate, complete paperwork. No one had been physically attacked, raped, or murdered warranting an immediate firing.

This is utter nonsense. I´m thinking FOX was looking for a way to fire Bob.
