Andrew McCarthy: Special Counsel
Mueller Should Investigate Leaks,
‘One Prosecution Would Do the Trick’

Breitbart Radio, by John Hayward

Former assistant U.S. attorney and National Review senior fellow Andrew McCarthy discussed the fallout from the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the appointment of a special counsel with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Friday’s Breitbart News Daily. McCarthy said there was little more than a semantic difference between the terms “special counsel” and “special prosecutor,” with the latter dating back to the Watergate scandal. “What they tried to do after that was really institutionalize it with kind of a constitutional monstrosity that was known as the independent counsel statute, which was an unconstitutional arrangement because it allowed the court to

I certainly hope so! It is long past time that the Clintons and the Democrats are punished for their crimes. I can´t think of anything sweeter than they find nothing on Trump but find the crimes of the leakers and the corrupt, filthy Democrats.

Was listening this AM to him saying that. To God´s ears, of course, but ain´t gonna happen. Mueller is there to bury Trump, not to praise him.

President Trump should have AG Sessions appoint a separate, conservative special counsel to investigate the leaks - "independent" of the Russian collusion investigation charged to Mueller.

That should be part of the investigation. Also, the allegation of wire-tapping political opponents needs to be part of this. Because all this "Russia hacked the election" stuff came out of unmasking by the Obama administration.

If Mueller is an honest man, he´ll be thorough. If he´s a bought man, he´ll Comey this thing and there will be no end to it.

Being rich is more pleasant than not being rich for many reasons, one of which is that the more money you have, the less society´s rules and obligations weigh on you. You slide through life using your wealth and connections to avoid the hassles and complications that occupy ordinary people, seldom having your choices impeded by what others or even the government demand of you. In theory the rules apply to everyone, but in practice there are almost always ways around them that are only available to a few.
