"Clock boy" discrimination lawsuit
dismissed by federal judge

CBS News, by Stefan Becket

A federal judge has dismissed a discrimination lawsuit brought by the family a Muslim student who was arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school that officials believed to be a bomb, saying the student´s attorneys failed to prove he was treated differently based on his race or religion. (Snip) On Thursday, Judge Sam Lindsay of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas granted the defendants´ motion to dismiss the lawsuit, saying the plaintiffs had failed to prove officials discriminated against Mohamed. In his ruling, Lindsay dismissed claims against the city and the school district, writing that

Excellent! That slimy little jerk shouldn´t receive one dang dime for his alleged discrimination. He should be thankful his sorry butt isn´t in jail for what he did. You will never convince me that what he did wasn´t purposeful and done to illicit exactly the responses that occurred. They have until June 1 to file an amended complaint. I hope that doesn´t change a future verdict. He deserves NOTHING.

Contd. It´s amazing that the judge is a Clinton appointee. Link below. Isn´t it sad that immediately when reading a federal judge´s verdict you wonder who appointed him.

I thought the family was moving to Qatar. It isn´t clear in this article if they are there or still planning on going. Leave the country you jerk. We don´t want you here.

The whole thing was a calculated political setup.

Sigh. If only President Trump denounced neo-Nazis as passionately and sincerely as he castigates journalists. What could be an easier task than distancing oneself from Nazis or violent white supremacists? Yet Trump manages to make it infinitely complicated — and then get distracted by self-pity and excoriate reporters for committing journalism. The key strain of his sulfurous speech in Phoenix on Tuesday was an extended attack on “dishonest” reporters (including at “the failing New York Times”). The American Civil Liberties Union is doing damage control after Twitter leftists denounced the group for sharing a picture of a white baby holding an American flag. In a tweet sent Wednesday afternoon, the ACLU captioned a photo of a Caucasian, blonde-haired child wearing a free speech onesie and waving a flag, “This is the future that ACLU members want.” Leftists were furious over the post because they believed it endorsed white supremacy. (Snip) The backlash to the innocuous tweet prompted the ACLU to tweet a correction where the group admitted the original message was somehow white supremacist. “When your

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought by a sanctuary city in California challenging President Donald Trump’s executive order withholding grants from jurisdictions that do not cooperate with federal immigration authorities The city of Richmond, Calif., filed suit in March challenging the constitutionality of the order. U.S. District Judge William Orrick dismissed the case Monday, finding Richmond did not have standing to challenge the law. In his ruling dismissing the case, Orrick explained the city had not demonstrated that it had reason to believe Trump’s order would be enforced against them, and therefore didn’t have standing to bring a case. “Because Richmond’s
