Dems Fear Their ‘Get Trump’ Frenzy

Some Democratic leaders around the country are growing increasingly concerned that the party could be repeating its errors from the 2016 election by looking past voters´ core concerns in lawmakers´ eagerness to take aim at the president. "We´re obsessed with what´s happening here, and a lot of American people are worried about that," Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti told NBC News during an interview in D.C. this week. "But if you´re out of a job or struggling with debt, you´ve got more primary concerns than even all of the drama here in Washington. And if nobody is speaking to it, besides

It can’t help that Comey’s best pal Ben Wittes is tweeting like mad and running off at the mouth about all the stories Comey told him. Wittes confesses that he called Mike Schmidt at the NYT and read him Comey’s Valentine’s Day memo on his meeting with President Trump.

American people - especially the many many millions who voted for Donald J. Trump - really don’t like self-important little trolls like Wittes running around upsetting our Republican government. This is an ego trip on (anti-Trump by his own admission) Wittes’s part. Sort of a “Comey told me everything” trip. Does nothing for Comey’s rather sketchy image.

Don´t listen to this twaddle, Dems! You´re doing God´s work, albeit unintentionally, by going all out in the Trump attacks! Sure, there are a few people out there suffering economically but you should never forget they´re mostly "deplorables" who got the orange beast elected in the first place. A little hunger won´t hurt them a bit!

Stay strong and remember the media are on your side!

Like a speed freak on speed, nothing else is important, just getting another hit, and everything, eating, bathing, everything is secondary, until finally they collapse or reach such an advanced state of paranoia that it becomes impossible to get more drugs.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) has revealed that during the 2016 presidential campaign, House Speaker Paul Ryan told him and his fellow Republicans to give up on Donald Trump´s campaign and just focus their energy on keeping "President Hillary Clinton accountable." According to Ryan, the Republicans had no chance at the White House, so at the very least they should try to retain their House majority. The directive came during a conference call, Gohmert told The Daily Caller in a video interview and then confirmed again during his appearance on "Fox & Friends" Sunday. The Texas Republican, as you can imagine, was not

Why the ever-increasing hatred for America’s past? You might think that, on the whole, American history is, relative to world history, fairly impressive and heartening. But it’s precisely American history’s virtues, more than anything else, that enrage so many people these days against the great men of the American past. While the Founding Fathers might be nominally condemned for their misdeeds, they are largely resented for their accomplishments. Human history suggests that people are naturally prejudiced in favor of their own ancestors, because the accomplishments of their forefathers reflect well upon them. America is increasingly dominated by people with shallow

“Why Won’t Trump Denounce White Supremacists?” Steve Hayes asks in a Weekly Standard essay published shortly after the president’s first statement about the Charlottesville ugliness. The question is a loaded one, and it means to suggest, as the essay goes on to confirm, that President Trump is tacitly cultivating the support of white supremacists. The charge is false, malicious, and unpatriotic, and Hayes’s argument for it is ludicrous. The author could easily see this for himself if he merely reviewed his own words with a tiny application of self-criticism. But apart from its false and fallacious argument the essay also suggests

A free speech rally taking place in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday was disbanded after thousands of left-wing activists held an enormous counter-protest. No more than 300 free-speech activists took part in the event, while approximately 30,000 counter-protesters took to the streets in a protest organized by groups such as Black Lives Matter and Boston’s ANSWER Coalition. The rally was organized by a group known as the Boston Free Speech Coalition and invited “libertarians, conservatives, traditionalists, classical liberals, (Donald) Trump supporters or anyone else who enjoys their right to free speech.” (Snip)Images from Fox News showed one woman attacked and dragged after waving

It’s all connected. The “Big Ugly” is underway. Intellectually honest people know the CEO boards and advisory council members were on the White House team to shape and protect their collective stakes in the upcoming America First economic trade reset. Nothing more. The intents of the prior participants were to protect their interests, period. There was no ideological American altruism within any of the motives. Globalists, multinationals and the participating leaders, who make their livelihoods on globalist economic expansion, were simply protecting their interests. President Donald Trump’s responses to the violence in Charlottesville have garnered the typical reactions from all the usual suspects in the conservative sphere of influence. Luminaries such as David French, Erick Erickson, and Ben Shapiro took the field against Trump, trying to prove the Leftist narrative that he sympathizes with white supremacists. One example of the kind of “logic” contained in these pieces should suffice. In his National Review column, French called for the firing not of Terry McAuliffe, the rabid partisan governor of Virginia, nor of Michael Signer, the feckless Charlottesville mayor who failed to keep order while radicals clashed in

NAFTA negotiations enter day #4 today. The final Round 1 summary day is tomorrow, Sunday. Information as to specifics is hard to find. Much of the ongoing negotiation is clouded in secrecy. However, that said, one of CTH mouses (with wolverine teeth) shares a negotiation aspect that drew a great deal of conseternation from the Mexico and Canada side. The issue revolves around government contracts, specifically U.S. federal contracts for goods and services. President Trump has initiated a “Buy American, Hire American” policy for government contracts; meaning if the U.S. government has to spend money for a product or service,

If you were to review how CNN and corporate mainstream media talk politics, well, according to their echo-chambered versions of President Trump, each week that passes is the worst week ever in presidential history. Seriously, no joke. President Trump has been in office for 30 weeks, and 20 of those weeks have been called “the worst” by media. However, if you actually engage with people living their lives and not focused on who the media blame for the latest round of horrid offenses; well, then you might recognize the scope of how over-emphasized and out-of-touch the media perspective really is.

Federal authorities are investigating whether sensitive data was stolen from congressional offices by several Pakistani-American tech staffers and sold to Pakistani or Russian intelligence, knowledgeable sources say. What started out 16 months ago as a scandal involving the alleged theft of computer equipment from Congress has turned into a national-security investigation involving FBI surveillance of the suspects. Investigators now suspect that sensitive US government data — possibly including classified information — could have been compromised and may have been sold to hostile foreign governments that could use it to blackmail members of Congress or even put their lives at risk.
