Reuters buries story on Obama spying

The Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign. Officials spilled results of that election espionage to Ned Parker, Jonathan Landay, and Warren Strobel of Reuters in exchange for Reuters portraying President Trump as a pawn of Putin. From Reuters: Michael Flynn and other advisers to Donald Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian officials and others with Kremlin ties in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the exchanges told Reuters. The previously undisclosed interactions form part of the record now being reviewed by

Surber asks the obvious question: Why was the Obama regime listening in on the conversations of a private citizen talking with someone in another country?

The attempted mass murder of several Republican members of Congress by a lone Bernie Sanders Democrat was the foreseeable fruit of the “Resist!” movement. I know: I predicted it. Barring a change of approach on the anti-Trump side, more such extremism is likely. Anomalous response to President Trump has been the Democrats’ strategy since election day when, contrary to custom, Hillary Clinton never made an appearance before her assembled staff and supporters to concede victory on camera. Within hours of Trump’s victory, leading Democrats such as Representative Maxine Waters of California were calling for impeachment. Waters’ ridiculous recommendation drew and draws widespread

President Trump rescinded Barack Obama´s goofy Deferred Action for Parents of Americans, which allowed people to come to America illegally, give birth on American soil, and then claim legal status because, hey, their kid is an American, right? I get that Democrats need votes, but Congress -- not the president -- enacts laws. Some publications and bloggers believe that because he took action only against illegal alien parents that means he is cool with keeping illegal aliens who came here as kids under Obama´s equally goofy Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. I liked it better when we were a nation of laws, but

Madison and Dane County leaders are hoping to inject a note of inspiration into the seat of local government by renaming it after the only president who ever set foot near it. At a Thursday press conference, County Executive Joe Parisi announced the effort to christen the structure known for 60 years as simply the City-County Building as the President Barack Obama City-County Building. “Barack Obama was the JFK of our generation,” Parisi said at the steps of the seven-story edifice. “He deserves to be honored, and he deserves to be recognized, not only for his accomplishments, but for his commitment to

Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity used his “Opening Monologue” to criticize the media for what he said was an effort to overturn the results of last November’s presidential election. Transcript as follows: The unelected fourth branch of government, the deep state, is trying to overturn the results of November’s election and throw this president out of office! So how did a bunch of unelected bureaucrats get so much power, feel so emboldened that think they can undermine a duly elected president of the United States and just take over? “Would you like a side of kale with that cellphone battery?” That sounds like an inquiry coming from your Alexa in the not-so-distant future as Amazon.com is set to purchase organic supermarket Whole Foods for $13.7 billion. The acquisition will firmly move the online retail behemoth into the realms of both the brick-and-mortar business as well as grocery. Amazon will gain over 460 stores nationwide — including more than 80 in the state of California. And its presence will put major pressure on other groceries as Amazon is expected to use its considerable online retail muscle to create a giant network of

National Democrats have thrown almost $30 million into the Georgia congressional race in support of Jon Ossoff. Most of their expenditures have been focused on registration and early voting ballots in support of the Democrat candidate. The early voting closed Friday and showed a massive amount of new registration and early voting. The contest for Georgia’s 6th District seat is one Democrats have targeted for months as their best chance to win a special election and deal President Donald Trump a major setback. Media polling has also been working hard to provide benefit to Ossoff. Georgia Republicans need to get

MIAMI — President Trump was poised to announce a new policy toward Cuba Friday that prohibits any commercial dealings with its economically powerful military and somewhat limits the freedom of U.S. citizens to travel to the island, but leaves in place many changes implemented by his predecessor. In a speech set to be delivered in the heart of Miami’s Little Havana, where an older generation of Cuban Americans has long objected to normalization of relations with the communist government of President Raúl Castro, Trump planned to declare an end to what he has characterized as the Obama administration’s policy of “appeasement,”

WASHINGTON – Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday introduced legislation that would automatically register voters who transmit information to state and federal agencies, potentially adding 50 million new voters around the country. In introducing the legislation on the House Floor, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) discussed Shelby County v. Holder, a 2013 Supreme Court decision that struck down certain aspects of the 1965 Voting Rights Act and eliminated the need for nine states to seek federal approval for altering voting laws. Central to the decision was the debate over racial discrimination through polling laws. Controversial voting laws in Texas and South Carolina went into effect

Being rich is more pleasant than not being rich for many reasons, one of which is that the more money you have, the less society´s rules and obligations weigh on you. You slide through life using your wealth and connections to avoid the hassles and complications that occupy ordinary people, seldom having your choices impeded by what others or even the government demand of you. In theory the rules apply to everyone, but in practice there are almost always ways around them that are only available to a few.
