Comey once tried to blend in with
WH curtains to avoid Trump: report

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Brooke Seipel

Former FBI Director James Comey reportedly once tried to blend into the curtains in the White House Blue Room in order to avoid being approached by President Trump. According to a New York Times report published Thursday, Comey tried to blend into the Blue Room´s blue curtains during a White House visit for a ceremony honoring law enforcement officials who provided security at inauguration. Comey recounted the incident to his friend, Brookings Institution fellow Benjamin Wittes, who told the story to The Times. Comey, who is 6 feet 8 inches tall, was wearing a dark blue suit and stood near

Comments:
You´ve got to be kidding. This is beyond weird. I´m really starting to question the mental competency of Comey. Who behaves like that?? We have really entered into the Twilight Zone. And it´s just going to get worse and worse with this fake investigation.

From Wittes (at another source):

[…] “This was a general preoccupation of Comey’s in the months he and Trump overlapped—and the difference between this relationship and his regard for Obama (which was deep) was profound and palpable”…

As I´ve said before, I think Comey had a very high opinion of himself! Just because he´s tall he thinks he´s above everyone else. If this story is true, he´s just a very little, nasty man who deserved to be fired. Way to go, Mr. President! You made a good call!

"If you look at the video, it’s one person shaking hands and another hugging.”

Didn´t look like a hug to me. Trump leaned in to say something to Comey and patted him on the back. As for trying to blend in with the curtains, for an FBI man he´s not a very good blender.

If Comey was this repelled by Trump, why didn´t he resign??? With his (undeserved) stellar reputation, he could have gotten a much better job. Why stay and work for a man you despise when you can earn millions somewhere else?

Sure glad the drapes weren´t gold or orange or Comey would´ve had to borrow a pantsuit from Her Thighness. Maybe there´s a memo on that.
This story is a complete crock. You could just as easily say the military members were trying to blend in with the chandeliers or wall sconces because of their brass buttons and polished flash. Actually, ALL the men were wearing DARK suits and Comey´s blue suit STANDS OUT from the others and makes him MORE noticeable.

If Comey is that infested with liberal leftist mental disease, he has been a sleeper agent. His enbtire personal is bubbling with Trump hate so much he says he tried to ´blend in with the curtains" to try to avoid touching or "fake hugging" the President of the United States. Where has his LEO objectivity been all these years? He is a fake agent, a creeping troll placed in secretively all those years ago by growing leftists. His whole purpose has been to undermine the nation´s strength! No wonder he has popped up at every one of Hillary Clinton´s self made scandals to help smooth the road for that Bwitch!

The war on cash is escalating. A big driver isn’t central banks who want to be able to inflict negative interest rates on savers, or Treasuries who see cash transactions as hiding revenues from their tax collectors, but the payment networks that want to kill cash (and checks!) as competitors to their oh so terrific (and fee-gouging) credit and debit cards. However, one bit of good news is there doesn’t appear to be much enthusiasm on the buyer, as in merchant, end. Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) on Friday came out against the revised Senate ObamaCare replacement bill, urging Republicans to instead work with Democrats on a solution. Kasich has been a strong defender of ObamaCare’s expansion of Medicaid in Ohio and pointed to the Medicaid cuts in the bill, which remain essentially unchanged from the initial version. “The Senate plan is still unacceptable,” Kasich said in a statement. “Its cuts to Medicaid are too deep and at the same time it fails to give states the ability to innovate in order to cope with those reductions.” Kasich’s stance also puts pressure on his

President Trump is seeking to radically remodel the State Department in an unprecedented way, according to former officials from administrations of both political parties. The administration’s efforts, which include a proposed budget cut of nearly 30 percent, a hiring freeze and a potential reshuffling of offices within the State Department, have left scores of positions unfilled, demoralizing the staff that remain. Past GOP presidents have also sought to cut the State Department down to size, and even current employees have acknowledged bureaucratic problems at Foggy Bottom. But some former officials describe Trump´s efforts as something unseen before — a war
