Representative Elise M. Stefanik is a young, freshman republican congresswoman from the Albany New York area. And using a probative questioning timeline, she single-handily pulled the mask from FBI Director James Comey, yet no-one seemed to notice. Obviously Ms. Stefanik has not been in the swamp long enough to lose her common sense. (Photos) In the segment of the questioning below Rep. Stefanik begins by asking director Comey what are the typical protocols, broad standards and procedures for notifying the Director of National Intelligence, the White House and senior congressional leadership (aka the intelligence Gang of Eight), when the FBI
Note the time when Comey says the Russian investigation started, July, 2016, the same month the Slimes reported a wiretap was sought from the FISA court. Note too, when congress was notified of an investigation, 2017. I smell a RAT!
Meanwhile, why no investigation of the most corrupt act (excluding the entire Lightbringer 8 years) in modern American politics - Comey´s "free pass" given (in return for - what?) to Sir Edmund The Felon.
That hearing drove me nuts with their constant ´wiretapping´ BS. NSA does not wiretap by the definition of putting bugs in place. It scoops up everything said on a regular phone, cellphone, pager, computer, fax, western union, etc., etc. The whole hearing was a dog and pony show. And Comey lied when he said there was no NSA Director in Jul 2016. Isn´t that perjury? Or just another "I misspoke"?
This Congresswoman is not a lawyer, she is a small business owner. Sensational question. If we had an honest investigative media, this question and the "answer" would have been headlined all over the country. Sundance is an honest investigative reporter, his news site puts the major media to shame.
When I think about the ´Deep State´.. Lots of use of the term, but w/o a lot of careful definition, INHO. I don´t intend to try either. But.. Seems to me many people have had security clearances (some higher than others) and worked directly or indirectly supporting gov´t goals and objectives. Many would consider themselves ´true patriots´ (however that might be defined). Some would like to see a serious return to a more literal support of our Constitution and less-so on interpretation. However all said, I´d think several in positions of higher gov´t mgmt are such, and, as such, strongly consider it their duty to protect (given their environ of influence). New admins come and go; some, like (IMHO) we´ve had this last 8-10 years, have gone a long way toward politicizing all branches. So when a new admin comes in and wants to ´drain the swamp´ I´d expect a fair amount of hesitance in aligning from some of these patriots. Of course, some are just political hacks; they deserve their come-uppance IMHO.So, given the last 8-10 years (sigh!), I think I´ll give this new admin some time (for me, 12 months) to figure out how to correctly warm up to those real patriots, so they can come around. Deep State? Flush off the hacks n those who need to leave; give that a little time, given all the slow-walking. K. Done with tome. Sorry about that.
The plot is starting to unravel -- which is why President Trump a few days ago set out a time frame of "the next two weeks" for the truth to come out. With John Muhammad Brennan, Sally Yates and James Clapper on the griddle next week, Comey´s attempts to dance around Congresswoman Stefanik´s question sets the table if -- and it is a very big if -- anyone on the Committee has the brains and the guts to ask the right questions. I suspect that a few more shoes will drop before the hearing, and will not be in the slightest bit surprised if one of the Brennan-Yates-Clapper trio (to which Comey has now necessarily added Loretta Lynch) suddenly refuses to testify or winds up unfindable. Pass the popcorn!
Everyone goes ga ga over Rep Gowdy but quite honestly, he didn´t impress with the Benghazi or this hearing. Rep Stefanik did a better job of asking the obvious. And yes, why wasn´t Comey released on January 20, 2017? I think now he will haunt the Trump Administration for the next 4-8 years.
The leaks could have been done by having Ben Rhodes give informaation to someone outside of government, who then leaked to the NY Times/Washington Post. And if that person´s name came out as the leaker, they could refuse to testify as to the source. As it stands, everyone is focusing on a person in government as the leaker. Heck, it could havew been Barack, during pillow talk with Reggie, who passed on the information.
FTA: "Occam’s Razor – Because the question(s), the brutally obvious question(s), then lead to the follow-up: If the only criminal activity is the sourcing of the leak, and the two people giving testimony are potential suspects in that criminal activity, then: A) How can we trust their testimony, and B) Why are we even having this hearing”? (with two people who are suspects in an ongoing investigation)…" Please watch the embedded video!!
AND the Stench is: "As a direct consequence of this mid-thought-stream Comey obfuscation, it is now clear -at least to me- that Director Comey was using his office as a facilitating conduit for the political purposes of the Obama White House."
This says it all, Comey IS in the Democraps pockets and is a Sycophant to Obama, Case Closed!
What is clear to me about all of this, is that too many Republican establishment types may also be complicit by errors of both omission and commission. The swamp is not only Dems. May the Hand of God guide Trump through this morass.
The influence of George Soros and his Open Society Foundations on U.S. foreign policy is the subject of an alert issued by members of the Senate. Six senators recently sent a letter to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, asking him to investigate the numerous grants given over many years by the State Department and its subsidiary, the U.S. Agency for International Development, to groups funded by the left-wing billionaire. The Soros Open Society Foundations stands accused of fomenting trouble for the governments of some U.S. allies and even interfering in their electoral process. The specific concern raised by Sens. Mike
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer had a heated exchange with reporter April Ryan over alleged White House scandals. Following is a transcript of the video. April Ryan: With all of these investigations, questions of what is, is? How does this administration try to revamp its image two and a half months in? You’ve got this Yates story today, you’ve got other things going on. You´ve got Russia. You’ve got, you´ve got wiretapping. You’ve got —Sean Spicer: No, we don’t have that. You’ve …Ryan: There are investigations on Capitol Hill -Spicer: No, no, no. I get it. But you keep —
President Trump wants to upgrade the nation´s infrastructure, and much of that desire comes from his hatred of the nation´s airports. Trump in a presidential debate compared the nation´s airports to what he would expect to find in a "third-world country." As a frequent flyer on his own personal jet, the subject of airports is something very close to the president´s heart. Here are the 10 worst large airports in the United States based on customer satisfaction, according to a year-end study by J.D. Power and Associates, in descending order of quality. 10. Seattle-Tacoma International (Photo) Flight delays are the
WASHINGTON -Labor unions representing construction workers have sent an infrastructure priority list to President Donald Trump at his request, as his White House searches for projects to greenlight that require little if any federal funding. North America’s Building Trades Unions sent the White House the wish list of 26 projects, including more than $80 billion worth of energy transmission lines, water and wind projects, and pipelines across the country. More than half of the projects on the list given to Trump aide Stephen Miller are privately financed. All but one are in the midst of permitting and could use the
A New York architecture firm has unveiled designs for a skyscraper that is out of this world. Deemed the ‘world’s tallest building ever’, Analemma Tower will be suspended from an orbiting asteroid 31,068 miles (50,000 km) above the Earth– and the only way to leave is by parachute. The orbital path would swing the tower in a figure eight pattern between the northern and southern hemispheres each day, taking residents on a tour through different parts of the world - all in just a 24 hour orbital cycle. (Photo) The radical design was created by Clouds Architecture Office, which is
Remember when Obama and Hillary cozied up to Putin? And recall when the media rejoiced at surveillance leaks about Team Trump? The American Left used to lecture the nation about its supposedly paranoid suspicions of Russia. The World War II alliance with Joseph Stalin’s Soviet Union had led many leftists to envision a continuing post-war friendship with Russia. During the subsequent Cold War, American liberals felt that the Right had unnecessarily become paranoid about Soviet Russia, logically culminating in the career of the demagogic Senator Joe McCarthy. Later, in movies such as Seven Days in May, Doctor Strangelove, and The
A Kentucky lawyer involved in a half-a-billion-dollar Social Security disability fraud scheme has pleaded guilty. Eric C. Conn, a flashy lawyer in the mold of the Breaking Bad character Saul Goodman, worked with an administrative judge and doctors to approve sham disability claims. The scheme resulted in fraudulent claims that cost the government $550 million, with Conn himself earning over $5.7 million. The Department of Justice announced Conn pleaded guilty to one count of theft of government money and one count of payment of gratuities on Friday. "According to the plea, from October 2004 to April 6, 2016, Conn participated
WASHINGTON– A Massachusetts law enforcement official testifying before Congress on Tuesday called for leaders of sanctuary cities to be arrested. Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson told the House Subcommittee on Illegal Immigration that sanctuary cities “have become magnets for illegal aliens, some of which have violent criminal records.” (Photo) “If these sanctuary cities are going to harbor and conceal criminal illegal aliens from ICE, which is in direct violation of Title 8 of the U.S. Code, federal arrest warrants should be issued for their elected officials,” Hodgson said. “Our citizens would be safer if we never stopped enforcing immigration law
President Donald Trump took to Twitter Monday evening and asked why aren’t congressional lawmakers probing the various deals, transactions, and connections former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have to Russia. “Why isn’t the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech,” read Trump’s first tweet, which was followed by, “…money to Bill, the Hillary Russian “reset,” praise of Russia by Hillary, or Podesta Russian Company. Trump Russia story is a hoax. #MAGA!” Clinton Camp Met with Russian Ambassador -(Video/Tweets) Trump’s assertion that then-Secretary

Lt. General Thomas McInerney appeared on Fox News to discuss Obamagate and the attacks on Devin Nunes who recently came out confirming that Trump was surveilled between Election Day and Inauguration Day. Lt. McInerney said that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are both in violation of the Espionage Act. It’s time for a special prosecutor to go after these two and others involved in their criminal activity. (Photo) McInerney: “Fingerprints that are now gonna start coming out that will show that the Obama administration was heavily listening to what was going on in the Trump campaign. They (Democrats) do not
The White House was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after a man reportedly said he had a bomb while the president was at home. Reporters were locked into the White House press room and the North Lawn was cleared so snipers could search the area. The Secret Service confirmed just before 11am that they are investigating a suspicious package near the White House grounds. Trey Yingst, a reporter for One America News Network, said a Secret Service agent told him that the cause of the lockdown was a man who approached the White House and claimed to have a bomb. The
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday stepped up his criticism of House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan to replace him. "Without further ado, Speaker Ryan should replace Chairman Nunes," the Senate minority leader said from the floor. "If Speaker Ryan wants the House to have a credible investigation, he needs to replace Chairman Nunes." Nunes caused an uproar last week when he told the press that he had seen intelligence showing that members of President Trump´s transition team had been caught up in surveillance operations — without first discussing the information with fellow committee members. He later
With the words "credibility questioned" prominent on the screen, Scott Pelley once again is doing what network evening-news anchors generally don´t do: abandoning careful neutrality in favor of pointed truth-telling. He is talking Thursday night about President Trump. And here are some of the words he is using: "his boasting and tendency to believe conspiracy theories." It´s nothing new. Pelley, of CBS Evening News, has set himself apart — especially in recent weeks — with a spate of such assessments, night after night. Perhaps the most notable one, on Feb. 7, went like this: "It has been a busy day
Ted Koppel had some harsh words for Fox News host Sean Hannity this morning. In a CBS ´Sunday Morning´ segment, the veteran news journalist said he thinks Hannity, a Fox News commentator, is ´bad for America´. (Snip) Hannity then called Koppel ´cynical,´ which Koppel affirmed. Hannity asked: ´Do you think we´re bad for America? You think I´m bad for America?´ Koppel said ´yes´ and that ´in the long haul´ such ´influential´ talk shows as Hannity´s hurt the American people. Koppel added: ´You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts.´ Hannity said that Koppel´s rebuke
Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., caused a scene at a Manhattan restaurant when he began yelling at a wealthy and well-connected Donald Trump supporter that the POTUS is “a liar.” Schumer, the top Senate Democrat, lost his cool on Sunday night at Upper East Side restaurant Sette Mezzo, according to witnesses. He was dining with friends when he encountered Joseph A. Califano Jr. — the former U.S. secretary of health, education and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson — and his wife, Hilary, who were having a quiet dinner. Onlookers said Schumer was incensed that Hilary
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday he’ll begin punishing sanctuary cities, withholding potentially billions of dollars in federal money — and even clawing back funds that had been doled out in the past. Speaking at the White House, Mr. Sessions said his department is preparing to dole out more than $4 billion in funds this year, but will try prevent any of it from going to sanctuaries. “Countless Americans would be alive today … if these policies of sanctuary cities were ended,” Mr. Sessions said. He said he’s carrying out a policy laid out by the Obama administration last year,
Barack Obama’s former press secretary is now a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, the network announced Monday. “Josh recently completed a ten-year run with President Obama, most recently serving as White House Press Secretary from 2014-2017,” NBC New President Noah Oppenheim and MSNBC President Phil Griffin said in a joint statement. “A native of Kansas City, Josh graduated from Rice University with a degree in political science and policy studies. With his wealth of experience and insight, Josh will be a great addition to our roster of contributors and will be an asset for our two networks as
Mental genius Chelsea Clinton made a complete a** of herself once again this past weekend. Someone really needs to keep her away from the computers without supervision. Via Newsbusters— The Republican Party of Palm Beach County put President Lincoln in a #MAGA hat this year for its Lincoln Day Dinner. (Snip) An alarmed Chelsea Clinton, a graduate of Oxford University, asked her followers if the image was photoshopped! What a dunce. The responses to Chelsea’s tweets were EPIC! “No, this is the exact hat Lincoln was wearing when he signed the Emancipation Proclamation. People forget that.” “Nope, Lincoln was wearing that exact hat at the Theater.” “Nope,
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma - Three teenagers were killed Monday, shot by a man as they were breaking into his home. Officers say it happened at a home near 91st and Clearview Drive in Wagoner County. The Wagoner County Sheriff´s Office said the homeowner and his adult son were in the home when three males wearing masks and gloves tried to break in at about 12:30 p.m. The homeowner´s son shot the intruders with a rifle, deputies said, killing all three. (Snip) Deputies said the resident armed himself with an AR-15 rifle and walked toward the back door where he encountered
New market data has somehow managed to make Whole Foods’ beleaguered lot look even worse. On top of reports last week that rival Albertsons was sniffing around Sprouts Farmers Market, an upstart organic grocer and wellness store whose prices are about 19 percent cheaper on average than Whole Foods, there are now some new numbers suggesting the high-end grocery chain is also still hemorrhaging shoppers. Foot traffic has dipped once again, Barclays analysts note, straight-up describing the magnitude this time as “staggering.” Technically, it’s 3 percent, which can make “staggering” seem a little far-fetched — until you consider it translates
Less than a week after the failed attempt to repeal Obamacare, President Trump will sign an executive order that could spell the end of Obama-era environmental policy. The order will curb the enforcement of a number of climate regulations, in an effort, the Trump administration says, to prioritize American jobs above addressing climate change. According to Mark Lynas, a British author, journalist and environmental activist who focuses on climate change, the order "is intended to make coal competitive again in the US economy, by refossilizing the US power sector and demonstrably increasing carbon emissions." "This is politically symbolic, as it will show that
As they investigate the forces behind the party’s stunning losses in November, Democrats are coming to a troubling conclusion. The party didn’t just lose among rural white voters on Election Day, it may have failed to capture them in its pre-election polling as well. Many pollsters and strategists believe that rural white voters, particularly those without college degrees, eluded the party’s polling altogether — and their absence from poll results may have been both a cause and a symptom of Donald Trump’s upset victory over Hillary Clinton in several states. Determining what exactly happened is one of the most pressing problems facing
On the same day that the House of Representatives canceled its vote on Ryancare, Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks filed a simple one-line bill to repeal Obama’s signature health care law. The Huntsville Republican titled the bill ‘Obamacare Repeal Act.” It is short and to the point, AI.com reported. “Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted,” the bill reads. Brooks, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, told constituents last week that he
