Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates once again topped the Forbes magazine list of the world´s richest billionaires, while US President Donald Trump slipped more than 200 spots. There are about 350 million people in the USA.

Since he likes to tell other people what to do with their money, how about suggesting to him:

give each adult a million dollars, or give each family a minimum of three million. Of course, we´d have to pay tax on it... so then it would benefit the Treasury.

I wonder why all those billionaires havent´ figured out how they could be such magnificent benefactors? /s

The Washington Post fact checker team gave President Obama "Four Pinocchios" for claiming that his administration fired "a whole bunch of people" who were in charge of facilities at the Department of Veterans Affairs since the VA scandal began in 2014, determining that the statement was completely false. Obama is not the only one accused of misleading the public about the number of people held accountable for manipulating patient wait-time data at the VA. Department Secretary Robert McDonald has twice received Four Pinocchio ratings for making similar claims. The widow of Army veteran Barry Coates asked Obama at a CNN

After nine excruciating days of wrangling, the Legislature finally passed a state budget late Sunday night. A package of bills that make up the $153.1 billion spending plan passed the Senate after it failed to meet an April 1 deadline due to heated exchanges between Democrats and Republicans over several key policies. The most controversial of the bills — called the “Big Ugly” for its many unrelated measures, such as charter-school funding and changing the criminal-conviction age — easily passed, 53-4, Sunday. The Assembly had already passed the bills Saturday, and now they go to the governor to sign. Many

Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney is reportedly slated to send a letter to federal agencies later this week warning them to prep for substantial budget cuts. The guidance letter falls in line with President Donald Trump’s March 13 executive order aimed at making the government leaner and more efficient, Axios first reported. The order called on Mulvaney, a staunch fiscal conservative and former member of the House Freedom Caucus, to “propose a plan to reorganize governmental functions and eliminate unnecessary agencies (as defined in section 551(1) of title 5, United States Code), components of agencies, and agency

Donald Trump´s private helicopter was the first to test out his new Mar-a-Lago helipad as it was spotted making a landing this weekend. The landing pad, which was built for Marine One, passed inspection and has been ready for use since last month, according to town officials. The aircraft was parked outside of his swanky resort this weekend, but Trump returned to Mar-a-Lago from his golf outing in West Palm Beach via motorcade on Saturday. Secret Service security protocol requires the president to only fly in Air Force One or Marine One. Trump has not flown in his private helicopter

A few days ago, I caught Trump´s speech to the Building Trades Unions National Legislative Conference. In a nutshell, Trump vowed to fix the job-killing, out-of-control, crazy regulations harming businesses. Trump said, "One of my first acts as president was to stop one of the great sellouts of the American worker." Calling NAFTA a disaster, Trump said he took us out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The audience erupted with applause. Trump is swiftly dismantling many of Obama´s anti-America agenda items. It dawned on me: this guy is simply implementing commonsense policies in the best interest of America and her citizens

President Trump did more than retaliate for Bashar al-Assad’s illegal and inhumane use of nerve agents against civilians when he ordered the launch of 59 Tomahawk missiles to destroy al-Shayrat airbase in Syria. He also detonated a few shibboleths of his predecessor’s foreign policy. First is the idea that President Obama’s 2013 deal to remove Assad’s weapons of mass destruction was a success. Susan Rice and John Kerry have lauded the agreement with Russia to supervise the extraction and destruction of Assad’s weapons stockpiles as recently as the last year. But Assad’s brazen attack on civilians in Idlib Province exposed

Plans were announced Wednesday by the Presidential Task Force on Inclusion and Belonging, an initiative launched in September by Harvard President Drew Faust, for a competition to change the anthem´s last line ´till the stock of the Puritans die´ in order to reflect inclusiveness. ´Puritan´ is a reference to the English Protestants
