Officials have banned certain electronic devices on flights to the U.S. from 13 international airports due to increased terror threats, sources told Fox News Monday. The ban is the result of an increased "volume" of chatter suggesting that Al Qaeda and other groups are still looking for ways to sneak explosive materials onboard planes. (Tweet) The open-ended ban, which goes into effect Tuesday, will also revive strict rules about liquids on planes that date back to post-9/11 flying regulations. U.S. officials had no immediate comment. Earlier Monday, Royal Jordanian Airlines announced on its Twitter account that the carrier had

Given the muddled thinking in federal court, I suppose one of them judges could order President Trump to reverse the ban.

Students at Duquesne University are petitioning their school to reconsider a plan to bring Chick-fil-A to campus, arguing the fast-food restaurant’s support for traditional marriage would create an unsafe environment for gay students. Niko Martini, a student senator at the Pittsburgh university, filed a petition with the student government asking the school to reconsider the inclusion of Chick-fil-A in its Options Food Court. “Chick-fil-A has a questionable history on civil rights and human rights,” Mr. Martini said in a statement to the student newspaper, The Duke. “I think it’s imperative the university chooses to do business

President Trump issued a stark warning to the world Tuesday about North Korea’s nuclear program — and his administration’s intent to “solve the problem.” News broke over the weekend that the U.S. Navy strike group led by USS Carl Vinson is headed to the Korean peninsula to support regional allies and send a message to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. The White House says the regime’s continued testing of intercontinental ballistic missiles must end. Oh, how nice, leave it to the intellectuals to once again, make lemons out of lemonade — freedom out of Communism. MIT Press, that supposed bastion of scientific thought, the place where the brainiacs flock and fly — meaning, this wasn’t an “oops, my bad” moment — has just put out a new book aimed at the kiddie market. It’s called “Communism for Kids.” And it’s hitting the “best seller” Amazon lists for the “communism and socialism” section — yes, that’s truly a section. (Snip) Anyhow, the Amazon description reads thusly: “Once upon a time, people yearned to be free of the misery of capitalism.”

United CEO Oscar Munoz doubled down in a letter to employees on Monday evening, claiming that employees "followed established procedures" when removing a passenger from a plane because it was overbooked, and calling the passenger "disruptive and belligerent." United had to ask several passengers who had already boarded a flight from Chicago to Louisville on Sunday evening to leave, as the airline had sold too many tickets. One man refused to leave, and United called airport officials, who forcibly removed him from the plane. Video circulated of the incident earlier in the day, showing the man being dragged from the plane

This is the moment a screaming man was knocked out and forcibly dragged off an overbooked United flight by cops while fellow passengers yelled in distress on Sunday night. Three officers were filmed yanking the man from his seat in Chicago, bashing his head against an arm rest and dragging the seemingly unconscious man down the aisle as he bled from the mouth. The man - who claimed to be a doctor and said he needed to see patients the next morning - was one of four randomly selected by United to leave the 5.40pm flight from O´Hare to Louisville.

A United Airlines passenger didn’t get to “fly the friendly skies” when he was forcibly ejected from his overbooked flight, according to reports. The unidentified man was dragged off kicking and screaming when he refused to give up his seat — and was recorded by passengers outraged at his treatment. The man, who some social media users said is a doctor, was yanked from his seat at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport before the flight to Louisville, Ky. A short video posted by Audra Bridges at 7:30 p.m. Sunday shows uniformed security personnel pulling the screaming man in front of horrified passengers.

Sen. More armed forces, 5,000 or 6,000, would attract more regional fighters to destroy ISIL. “You need a safe haven quickly, so people can regroup inside of Syria. The United Airlines passenger who was hauled off an overbooked plane is a poker-playing doctor from Kentucky with a sordid past. Dr. David Dao, 69, who was captured in a now viral video being forcibly dragged off the Louisville, Ky-bound flight at Chicago O’Hare Airport on Sunday, was working as a doctor specializing in pulmonary disease in Elizabethtown when he was convicted of trading prescription drugs for sex favors. According to documents filed with the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, Dao was arrested in 2003 on the drug-related offenses following an undercover investigation. ALBANY, N.Y. -- There´s a big string attached to New York´s free middle-class college tuition initiative: Students must stay in the state after graduation or else pay back the benefit. Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday that the requirement was added to protect the state´s investment in a student´s education by ensuring they don´t take advantage of free tuition and then leave New York. The rule wasn´t a part of Cuomo´s free college tuition proposal when he unveiled it in January but was inserted during final negotiations with lawmakers over the state budget, which was approved Sunday. One of the officers who dragged a passenger off a United Airlines flight did not follow standard operating procedures and has been placed on leave, according to the Chicago Aviation Department. It was not immediately clear which of the three men seen in a viral video taken by another passenger was placed on leave. The department, which did not name the officer, said it did not condone the aviation security officers’ actions Sunday night. Meanwhile, the CEO of United Airlines’ parent company said the airline is conducting its own probe of the incident.

Supply and Demand: After forcing a paying customer off a flight to make room for an employee, United Airlines is catching hell, and rightly so. But what´s really disturbing is that no one at United understood the most basic principle of free market economics. The story goes like this. United overbooked a flight from Chicago to Louisville, Ky., on Sunday night. That´s hardly unusual. But in this case, United wanted to make room for four employees who needed to be in Louisville the next day, and the next flight to Louisville wasn´t until Monday afternoon. According to news accounts, United offered passengers
