The editor of the Washington Post, which staffed up its White House team to cover the new administration, said the paper would have covered a Hillary Rodham Clinton presidency with the same intensity as it has President Trump. Cheered by journalists at a media roundtable in California late Tuesday, Marty Baron also said that despite some criticism, the Post is doing its job, not acting as the opposition. (Video) "I just look at it as a new administration that we should be covering as aggressively, as energetically as possible. If Hillary Clinton were in the White House, we would be
I believe it. Since the WP is 100% fake now, I assume they mean they would have been 100% fake for Hillary as well, the same way they were during the campaign and the same way they covered Obama. 100% fake and the opposite to the truth.
HAH, from the post pucker of the MSM´s lips from their last presidential love affair, and their obvious carrying the water of Mz Clinton in our happily over election, it is so obvious that they are treating Trump exactly as they did Obama and Clinton was and would have been. HAH he laughed
The WaPo and the rest of the msm groveled at the feet of their messiah, obama and gushed if he ever put three words together without the teleprompter. The meaning of journalist has been redefined along the lines as a willing accomplice in spreading the socialist/progressive party line to the masses.
So, where are the investigative reports on the Clinton Foundation graft, corruption, and pay to play?? Where´s the true story of why she was hiding a Server in her basement loaded with Classified Federal documents?? And what´s the REAL relationship between her and her Huma??
Sorry I would´ve typed this sooner but I had to get off the floor because I was laughing so hard! Is this guy serious? This is the same Washington Compost who editorial board: Wrote that the Lewinsky affair was only about sex. Called GWB a warmonger. Ran columns about how hip and cool Obama was. Whose boss Jeff Bozos was all in for Hillary and hates Trump. That Washington Compost. Ok I´m staring to laugh again.
Political activist Sunsara Taylor told Tucker Carlson Tuesday night that, “in the name of humanity, [the] 7 billion people on this planet need to pour into the streets” and protest President Trump. “Look, we’re facing an emergency,” the “Refuse Fascism” organizer told The Daily Caller founder. “Humanity is facing an emergency. A fascist regime has seized the reins of power in one of the strongest — no the sole super power in the world. Trump and Pence are operating out of Hitler’s playbook, only they have nuclear weapons.” WATCH: (Video) “While it’s beautiful, it’s righteous that millions of people have
Professional hidden camera stinger James O´Keefe revealed Tuesday that he is on the cusp of releasing "hundreds of hours" of footage from "one corporation, multiple newsrooms." O´Keefe let slip a telling hint about which corporation is the target of his sting operation despite declining to mention it by name. It is the one President Trump has been discussing recently, O´Keefe told Sean Hannity in a radio interview. "It´s the one he´s always targeting." A Huffington Post reporter asked O´Keefe if he got the footage from the camera or set crews, but he did not reveal that information. The footage will be
NBC News released two videos on their website of children delivering personal messages to President Trump, with many of their statements criticizing the president a month into his presidency. The video series, “Dear Mr. President: Letters from the American Children,” opens with a young boy excited about the prospect of a political outsider bridging the disconnect between the Washington establishment and the American people, but things go downhill from there. (Video) “When you speak on things that make me feel uncomfortable, or I disagree with, you make me feel small because I know I can’t change it,” one girl remarks.
(Video) MSNBC´s Mika Brzezinski criticized President Donald Trump on Wednesday for undermining the media´s message by creating his own facts, adding that the "job" of the media is to "control exactly what people think." Brzezinski made the comment on "Morning Joe" after co-host Joe Scarborough said that he agreed with a panelist´s view that Trump supporters are wondering why people are so upset over what the president is doing since he is implementing exactly what he campaigned on. "What Yamiche [Alcindor] said is what I hear from all the Trump supporters that I talk to, who were Trump voters and
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday that it was “disheartening” that the media jumped to the conclusion that President Donald Trump received classified information on a piece of paper while having dinner with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., last week. “I think in some cases it’s disheartening to realize that those are the kind of immediate conclusions that somebody jumps to. So when you talk about coverage, we have a free press. We have the right for people to say and do what they believe, but at some point, it is incumbent
He is the Cambridge University-educated ´super villain of the internet´ who refers to Donald Trump as ´daddy´. But the phenomenal rise of right-wing British writer Milo Yiannopoulos came to a juddering halt this week after footage emerged of him appearing to condone pedophilia. The storm cost him first a $250,000 book deal, then a prestigious conservative speaking engagement and finally his job as technology editor of conservative website Breitbart, from which he resigned. Prior to his extraordinary rise as the poster boy of the America´s alt-right, Yiannopoulos had always had a taste for drama and a reputation as a showman. A school
Protesters camped out on federal land near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation are torching their tents as the deadline to evacuate approaches and the National Guard gears up to move in. Those at the six-month-old camp have until 2pm local time to get off the land before authorities go in and give them a simple choice: Go home or go to jail. But the threat of being locked up hasn´t moved some, who ´will engage in peaceful, civil resistance ... holding hands, standing in prayer,´ according to American Indian activist Chase Iron Eyes. She´s ba-a-a-a-ck! Just when you thought Hillary Rodham Clinton (D) was finally planning to make good on her promises and distribute some of that Clinton Foundation money to Haiti to help the residents recover from the devastating earthquake that struck the poor country seven years ago, she does something else! She discovers that some people are anti-Jewish – i.e., they really don´t like Jews. They are commonly called anti-Semites. (Jews are from the Middle East, where some of the people are known as Semites.) After reports of numerous anonymous threatening calls to Jewish community centers (commonly known as JCCs) around
Trump was right— Russian TV1 Channel recently sent a reporter into Malmo, Sweden, the third largest city in Sweden. After years of open immigration 43% of the population of Malmo today is foreign born migrants and refugees. During the broadcast TV1 showed migrants torching police cars on the street. A banner reading "Refugees welcome" was put up illegally on the base of the Statue of Liberty Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. The banner, 3 feet by 20 feet, was unfurled atop the pedestal around 12:50 p.m., according to National Park Service police. It was affixed to the outside of the public observation deck at the base of the statue by nylon rope. (Tweet/Photo) When alerted to the presence of the banner, park rangers immediately made their way to the location to assess how to get it down. They were able to remove it without damaging the monument. Visitors began posting
A terror suspect who received a seven-figure payoff after he claimed he was tortured while being held at Guantanamo Bay blew himself up in a suicide bombing in Iraq, according to reports Tuesday. ISIS claimed responsibility and praised Abu-Zakariya al-Britani, a British-born suicide bomber, for the attack near Mosul, where Iraqi forces are battling ISIS fighters for control of the city. “The martyrdom-seeking brother Abu Zakariya al-Britani — may Allah accept him — detonated his explosives-laden vehicle on a headquarters of the Rafidhi army and its militias in Tal Kisum village, southwest of Mosul,” the terrorist group said. The statement
A police department in Northampton, Massachusetts is ending its "High-Five Friday" program at local elementary schools due to concerns that "undocumented children" and others may feel "uncomfortable" seeing an officer at school. The program, started by the Northampton Police Department in December, had officers stand outside of a school each Friday morning to high-five students as they walked in to begin the day. (Photos/Tweets) Now, the program has been canceled due to concerns that it may make minority students and illegal immigrants feel uncomfortable, LawNewz reported Tuesday. "While we received a lot of support on social media, we also heard
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., predicted Tuesday that many Republican lawmakers will break from President Trump by June if he continues to push forward with his agenda. Schumer told "The View" that while most Republicans have declined to publicly break with Trump during the first month of his presidency, many privately admit they have "real problems" with him. He also argued that some are sticking by him because of party loyalty and his nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill the late Antonin Scalia´s seat on the Supreme Court. "When you talk to Republicans quietly — in the cloakroom
An “antiracist” poster in a college writing center insists American grammar is “racist” and an “unjust language structure,” promising to prioritize rhetoric over “grammatical ‘correctness.´” The poster, written by the director, staff, and tutors of the University of Washington, Tacoma’s Writing Center, states “racism is the normal condition of things,” declaring that it permeates rules, systems, expectations, in courses, school and society. “Linguistic and writing research has shown clearly for many decades that there is no inherent ‘standard’ of English,” proclaims the writing center’s statement.
Nearly 15 years ago, I informed my skeptical father that I was pursuing a job with the Central Intelligence Agency. Among his many concerns was that others would never believe I had resigned from the agency when I sought my next job. “Once CIA, always CIA,” he said. But that didn’t give me pause. This wouldn’t be just my first real job, I thought then; it would be my career. That changed when I formally resigned last week. Despite working proudly for Republican and Democratic presidents, I reluctantly concluded that I cannot in good faith serve this administration as an
Calls to boycott Wegmans Food Markets, a popular supermarket chain, because it sells Trump Winery products have backfired on the Prince William County, Virginia, chapter of the National Organization for Women. A spokeswoman for Wegmans, a New York-based company, told Fox News on Monday that Trump wines flew off its shelves last week. Out of 10 locations, only its Charlottesville store did not completely sell out. (Snip) Calls for boycotts began with a story involving Prince William County’s chapter of NOW in The Washington Post published Feb. 14. “Certainly if Wegmans is carrying Trump wines, I personally will not shop
Fox News announced the signing of Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel as a healthcare and policy analysis contributor on Tuesday. Along with Jonathan Gruber, Emanuel is best known for being one of the “architects” of the Affordable Care Act. He currently serves as chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress. He will reportedly appear on both Fox News and Fox Business Network.
A group of global investors with $11 trillion in managed assets told Texas on Tuesday not to enact legislation restricting access to bathrooms for transgender people, saying it is discriminatory and bad for business. The "Texas Privacy Act," or Senate Bill 6, has been marked as a priority for Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, a Republican and conservative Christian who guides the legislative agenda in the Republican-controlled state Senate. He said the measure protected the privacy and safety of Texans. The bill on a flashpoint issue in the United States is similar to a law enacted last year in North Carolina
A Mexican man has apparently taken his own life just half an hour after being deported from the United States. Guadalupe Olivas Valencia, 45, jumped from a bridge at the border after he was deported for the third time. He was found unconscious next to a plastic bag with his belongings and died in hospital a short while later. His death came as the Trump administration issued new guidelines to widen the net for deporting illegal immigrants from the US. (Snip) Mr Olivas was a native of Sinaloa, one of Mexico's most violent states and the stronghold of the cartel formerly led by jailed drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.
Chelsea Clinton took to the streets of New York on Sunday to stand in solidarity with the Muslim community and protest Muslim discrimination. Clinton brought along her young daughter Charlotte. (Snip) Linda Sarsour, a Muslim activist who is known for her vocal condemnation of Israel, gave a speech in which she discussed President Franklin Delano Roosevelt´s signing of executive order 9066, which put Japanese Americans in internment camps. Sarsour implied that President Trump would do the same with Muslims.
In San Francisco, an Indian software engineer on a work permit canceled plans to bid on a $900,000 home. In Washington, a Brazilian nonprofit executive passed on a fixer-upper near her office. And, in Mesa, Arizona, a 24-year-old son of undocumented Mexican immigrants won the trust of a bank -- a green light for a mortgage -- but now fears deportation. President Donald Trump’s immigration policies threaten to crack a foundation of the American economy: the residential real estate market. Legal and otherwise, immigrants, long a pillar of growth in homebuying, are no longer feeling the warm welcome and optimism
The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), organized by the American Conservative Union, is regularly the most anticipated event on the conservative calendar. Although it has become increasingly circus-like in recent years, it remains the year’s foremost gathering of conservative activists, several days of speakers normally include leading officeholders, and it is considered a testing ground for prospective presidential candidates. Over the weekend, CPAC invited Milo Yiannopoulos to speak at this year’s event, happening later this week in Maryland. Of late, Yiannopoulos, a “tech editor” for Breitbart News, has been a regular guest on college campuses and a constant source of
The mainstream media have stepped up their complaints about President Trump amid pious howls mostly about the First Amendment. The issue, however, has nothing to do with that. It´s that these organizations are openly asserting a right to define, control and impose their world-view on us. That´s the real problem. To start, they are defining what is and isn´t offensive in America today, claiming they can make those designations even while admitting they don´t have all the facts, and that you, the reader, deserve to lose your job if you fall outside of the rigid box they construct. There are numerous
