Washington — The organizers of the Women´s March on Washington have set the date for their general strike, dubbed "A Day Without A Woman," for March 8, which is International Women´s Day. The group previously announced their plan for a general strike but didn´t give the date until Tuesday. "In the spirit of women and their allies coming together for love and liberation, we offer ´A Day Without A Woman,´" the organizers said in an Instagram post. The organizers of that strike, Strike4Democracy, say on their website that the group will "coordinate over 100 strike actions across the United States, and beyond,
Comments: A day with screeching, unhinged liberal harridans and harpies protesting nothing for the sake of their vanity? Throw in effeminate Democrat men, all making themselves look incredibly foolish? Sounds like a plan.
How about a "Day without men"? Who then would clean up the mess in CA after that dam break? Who would build our new roads? Who would answer our calls when the electricity is out? Who would build our houses? Who would rescue millions from accidents? Come on. We need both sexes to get the job done.
Unattractive women who shun makeup and who take great pride in not cooking, not cleaning, not raising their children, not treating men as equals and not respecting our electoral system are going on strike? Will they spend day composing nasty messages about Melania, Ivanka and Ed Secretary Betsy DeVos while wearing their pink or rainbow pussy hats?
One thing is certain, these leftists will say nothing about the cruel treatment of women by Muslims.
I say organize "A Day Without Men" March on the same day. Men could use the same mantra that the women are using--- "Our army of love greatly outnumbers the army of fear, greed and hatred." And I´ll leave it up to you about the hat design. Just imagine: Everyone could peacefully protest or counter protest everyone else. The streets would be filled with...men and women. The media wouldn´t know which way to turn. The "Day Without Men" Marchers could score more politically correct points by including a sub-category of "A Day Without Whatever Gender You Identify With." Those marchers could wear burkhas to signal their uncertain identity on MAR 8. This is something we SHOULD do. But unfortunately, we can´t seem to organize and instead we´ll just sit back and whine and moan about the women and their strike. Sigh.
Many women scratch their heads and wonder who these women are. This writer does a pretty good job of describing them:
Sure, the barren spinsters protesting in the streets for a “woman’s right to choose” are pro-abortion, but they are the dull witted shock troops of the Cult of Modern Liberalism, organized around simple ideas in order to get them out in the streets making noise. The women who were running around dressed as vaginas last month had no idea why they were doing it. They just liked the drama and the attention.
The same with those moronic pink knit caps. The dreary women shown knitting them - for months! - and the dreary-looking women shown wearing them. Ack.
What happened to female pride? Most women I know wouldn’t be caught dead participating in such nonsense.
These folks...wonder if they realize they are being funded by the world´s biggest chauvinistic man who is throwing his billions at them, using them for political gain? Their leader wears a hijab and is all for sharia law which would stone the majority of them to death in a blink of an eye? Sheeple, marching to the beat of a death knell.
Will the lights not come on when I flick the switch? Will heavy construction work on building sites be affected? Will garbage not be collected? Will there be no firefighters to respond to calls, no cops (at least those actually prepared to face miscreants) walking or patrolling beats?
All hard and important physical work that society requires will continue as though nothing happened.
In other words, we will receive a real-life tutorial on the issues underlying the "wage gap." Knock yourselves out, liberal ladies.
When I saw this on the news I turned to my husband and said, "That sounds like every man´s dream. You guys need a break." He laughed and said that he planned to wake up extra early that day to enjoy every minute of it. He has hope that the liberal nag hags that work in his office will "strike." It will be a blessed day if they do!
"[P]ease, Brer Fox, please don´t throw me into the briar patch." I find it hysterical that the Left thinks America likes what it puts in front of news cameras. They´ll get their share of brainwashed libtard wives, but even they will get a firsthand, oh-too-real taste for what they´re really supporting.
I just wanted to remind all of the conservative women that use their brains, that the comments here (although not stated) are referring to the crazy wacko liberal females. We really appreciate the rest of you.
#10 - The hats are already available; I just don´t think the news would readily show a bunch of men wearing dick hats. At least not the kind out there. (Hint, it doesn´t sit on top of the wearer´s head...)
Then again, the sight of thousands of men wearing dick hats might drive home just how stupid the whole concept was that started this.
We could probably give NORAD and other watchful sentry systems the day off, though, because the Russians and Chinese would be laughing too hard at us to coordinate an attack...

Ethanol’s rise over the past decade has given birth to an under-the-radar market: Americans who are willing to travel miles out of their way and pay significantly more per gallon for ethanol-free fuel. Like locally sourced food or antibiotic-free chickens and eggs, so-called E0, or “pure gas,” has generated a cultlike following willing to pay a premium. More than 12,000 service stations across the U.S. and Canada now offer E0, according to pure-gas.org and other groups that track fuel trends. The United States should stay in the Paris climate accord but renegotiate it, energy secretary Rick Perry said on Tuesday, alleging that some European countries were not doing enough to curb emissions. A decision is expected by president Donald Trump next month on whether or not to stay in the landmark 2015 Paris Agreement limiting global carbon emissions, signed by 194 countries. In New Orleans in the small hours of the morning on Monday, workers wearing bulletproof vests and scarves that obscured their faces removed the first of four prominent Confederate monuments. It was a message repeated several times at a Democrat news conference Tuesday afternoon: Republicans, agree with us on a spending bill, or we’ll blame you for shutting down the government. And it appears that Republicans, who control all three branches of government, are listening: “Now last night, we received a bit of good news -- not just for Democrats but for the country – that the president is easing off his demands for a border wall in the government funding bill,” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told the news conference. “The money is better used elsewhere,” Schumer said. “If the

Although President Donald J. Trump promised to defund Planned Parenthood if elected president, and the GOP House and Senate often claim that they want to defund the group, there reportedly is no language in the continuing resolution to fund the government through next September to defund Planned Parenthood, a group that has performed approximately 81,567 abortions since Trump´s inauguration on Jan. 20. That´s about 877 abortions per day, 36 per hour, or 1 every two minutes. The continuing resolution, or CR, is a funding mechanism that -- absent a budget and the regular appropriations process -- wraps federal spending into
The United Nations warned the Trump administration earlier this year that repealing ObamaCare without providing an adequate replacement would be a violation of multiple international laws, according to a new report. Though the Trump administration is likely to ignore the U.N. warning, The Washington Post reported the Office of the U.N. High Commission on Human Rights in Geneva sent an "urgent appeal" on Feb 2. The Post reported that the confidential, five-page memo cautioned that the repeal of the Affordable Care Act would put the U.S. “at odds with its international obligations.” The warning was sent to the State Department and reportedly said
I HAVE been a practising Christian all my life and a deacon and Bible teacher for many years. My faith is a source of strength and comfort to me, as religious beliefs are to hundreds of millions of people around the world. So my decision to sever my ties with the Southern Baptist Convention, after six decades, was painful and difficult. It was, however, an unavoidable decision when the convention´s leaders, quoting a few carefully selected Bible verses and claiming that Eve was created second to Adam and was responsible for original sin, ordained that women must be "subservient" to byline corrected by staff
In the past week, vandals have repeatedly defaced property at the prestigious University of Texas-Austin, spray-painting a hammer and sickle symbol and words like “rapist,” “racist” and “kill frat boys” on at least four fraternity houses. Last Friday, the vandals published an anonymous manifesto on It’s Going Down, a website that describes itself as “a media platform for revolutionary anarchist, anti-fascist, and autonomous anti-capitalist and anti-colonial movements.” In it, the vandals urge students to join them in terrorizing fraternities. The self-professed “Vandals of UT” say they are responding to no specific incident but “the everyday crisis that is rape culture,

ESPN laid off 100 employees on Wednesday as part of a company-wide restructuring. The struggling cable sports network first announced the layoffs last month. “We have long been about serving fans and innovating to create the best content for them. Today’s fans consume content in many different ways and we are in a continuous process of adapting to change and improving what we do,” ESPN said in a March statement. “Inevitably, that has consequences for how we utilize our talent. We are confident that ESPN will continue to have a roster of talent that is unequaled in sports.” Among those who were

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., argued Thursday that President Trump and Republicans in Congress will have "doo-doo stuck to their shoe for a long time" if they pass the revised American Health Care Act (AHCA). The comments came a day after the AHCA received a boost in support from the House Freedom Caucus, which announced it would back the bill. "I think President Trump is really making fools of the members of Congress, of his own party," she said in her weekly press conference. "He´s asking them to vote for a bill that is wildly unpopular in the country,
