Obama Has Little To Show

Legacy: Eight years ago, Barack Obama came to the White House to shouts of "yes we can." But on numerous issues, he leaves office on a "no he couldn´t" note. That´s nowhere more true than it is with his bold promises to fundamentally transform the nation´s energy and transportation industries. Obama came into office like a starry-eyed dreamer. He promised a vast network of high-speed rail, a "smart" electric grid, a million electric cars on the roads, a "clean energy economy" creating millions of new green jobs. And he spent lavishly to realize this dream. But as he leaves office,

Wasting trillions of dollars and the denial of resources to the country was/is part of Obama´s plan to fundamentally transform the country. Unfortunately, he has been very successful at this with the help of Republicans that rubber stamped his spending.

He couldn´t because he didn´t know how. He put his supporters and donors into his cabinet and they didn´t know what to do either. He was a Community Organizer for goodness sake. He had never held a real job. He put a former First Lady in as Sec. of State and she spent a lot of time on yoga and her daughter´s wedding and making speeches. When the red phone rang, she did nothing. We still don´t know where she or Obama was during that night of terror. He left the next day for a fundraiser in CA. I am surprised we all survived his regime of know nothing and do nothing.

No, we, the American people have little to show for his lavish spending. We have to pay the Russians to put our men in space for crying out loud. Make America Great Again!

Except for causing a lot of trouble Obama has nothing to show for the great opportunities that were available to him.His is truly a wasted life.

A "like" button for #2. I commented months ago, that leftists ideologues lack the capacity to construct anything of a coherent nature, requiring a nuts and bolts understanding. That was about Obamacare, a colossal rickety disaster.

Politicians. Over promise and under deliver. It´s what they do. Will be interesting to see what happens now that we don´t have a politician in charge. Probably actually see something of value happen.

Under @POTUS´s leadership, we drove our carbon pollution to its lowest levels in two decades while the economy grew over 10%. #ActOnClimate

This from the @POTUS twitter - fake news!

Not only what has been mentioned above but more seriously, after spending about $90,000,000 on vacations, has his golf game improved any?

Does the commie from Kenya own an electric car? I don´t know, but I would be he doesn´t. I would be surprised if he even knows how to drive. Is he going to heat his mansion in D.C. with solar panels? Again, I have no idea, but I bet he won´t. Obama is nothing but a hypocritical blowhard, just like most democRat politicians. I like what someone posted here yesterday, Barry´s legacy is Donald Trump. MAGA!

Doorknob dug a deeper hole for America. And that´s what entitlement addicts do best. Keep digging a deeper hole that they can´t get out. That´s where America is right now.

"To be clear, the problem isn´t that Obama didn´t spend enough money to make his dreams a reality. It´s that he put his faith in a centralized government instead of a disperse, free market."

It´s more fundamental than that. BO is an ideologue. He pushes Green energy because he believes it is the right thing to do. The problem is, the technology is simply NOT here yet. You cannot MAKE successful products just because you want to. The technology must be READY first.

The flaw to BO´s plans is that he believes that Green energy was being held up by policy decisions by evil Republicans. So, he changed policies, pushing Green energy. But policy wasn´t the problem. Policy pushed oil and gas because THAT is what works NOW. Green energy doesn´t work NOW. Policy can´t make it work any more than policy could make donkeys fly.

BO sees everything through the prism of his personal beliefs. But most of his beliefs are simply wrong. Things don´t work the way BO thinks and he REFUSES to learn how they do work. BO´s solution to failure of his policies is to push them even harder, trying to will them into existence.

Good luck with them flying donkeys BO.

If Obama spent money on roads the roads weren´t here in America.

Remember "Shovel Ready Jobs"?

Remember 4 years later when Obama said the jobs weren´t as shovel ready as he originally thought?

The stimulus money went to his pals, alternate energy scammers, democrat financiers, and foreign banks.

Yeah, and what about his lavish spending on himself and his family, on the tax-payers´ dime.

An America that is culturally and socially divided, weaker nationally and internationally, and $20,000,000,000,000 in debt.

THAT is Obama´s legacy.

Worse than Lyin´ Lyndon Johnson.
Worse than Jimmah.

Worst....President....Ever.

Beleaguered Small Businesses Set
For Big Rebound Under Trump

Small businesses and entrepreneurs have had a rough time of it for these past eight years. New startups and entrepreneurial activity have pretty much been stagnant, weighed down by heavy regulation, high taxes and an economy that´s just been stumbling along. But in recent weeks, there are signs of renewal that could mark a turnaround in the fortunes of small business. Most impressively, the National Federation of Independent Business´ small-business optimism index surged in December by the most since 1980, a year when another maverick conservative-leaning candidate surprised everyone and won the presidency. His name was Reagan. "The December results confirm the sharp

Education: Democrats and unions are joining to kill any prospect of meaningful education reform by President-elect Donald Trump. How? By fatally damaging school reformer Betsy DeVos´ nomination as Secretary of Education. DeVos is unquestionably qualified to head the Education Department. She has spent most of her adult life as an enthusiastic and thoughtful school reformer, fighting the teachers unions and their bought-and-paid-for Democratic political pals, to bring hope and educational change to the state of Illinois´ dysfunctional schools. What irks unions and Democrats alike is that DeVos is an unabashed advocate of school choice, which mostly means charter schools and voucher programs.

Voting: In yet another move by the Obama administration to stick its thumb in the nation´s eye on the way out, it has decided to have the federal government meddle in state and local elections. It´s yet another terrible decision that Donald Trump is going to have to undo. With almost no notice, Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson announced that his department was designating the nation´s elections system as "critical infrastructure," thereby giving DHS greater control over how states run their own elections. This is a classic example of a government solution in search of a problem, one that will itself end

At one point in President Obama´s interview with ABC News that aired over the weekend, George Stephanopoulos noted that "the Democratic Party got pretty hollowed out on your watch, about 1,000 seats lost in the Congress, Senate, governors, state houses." Then he asked: "Is that on you?" It was a good question. Since Obama took office, Democrats´ fortunes have plummeted. The party lost 900 seats in state legislatures, 12 governorships, 69 House seats and 13 Senate seats. Clearly, whatever leadership Obama provided, it wasn´t helping Democrats connect with voters across the country. So what was Obama´s response? At first, he

Sears. Macy´s. Kohl´s. Traditional department store retailers have taken hard hits over the Christmas holidays, with sales lagging the generally robust performance of retailers overall. Now, these mall stalwarts are slashing thousands of jobs and hundreds of stores, trying to right-size themselves. It´s no coincidence. Sears on Thursday became the latest retailer to announce that it was restructuring after a weak Christmas season. It´s closing 150 Sears and Kmart stores and selling its iconic Craftsman tool brand for just under a billion dollars to Stanley Black & Decker. Meanwhile, Macy´s is letting 10,000 people go. And Kohl´s warned about its decline

Another ObamaCare Promise Bites The Dust

Health Reform: Remember when Democrats were promising that ObamaCare would cut the deficit by $1 trillion in its second decade? Turns out they were off by, well, about $1 trillion. A report from the centrist Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget says that, left in place, ObamaCare would reduce the deficit by between $350 billion and $150 billion over the next 10 years, depending on whether or not you account for the economic harm caused by the law. It might look like a big number, but it´s far smaller than the $1 trillion Democrats promised. What´s more, a realistic accounting shows that

Senator John McCain passed documents to the FBI director, James Comey, last month alleging secret contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow and that Russian intelligence had personally compromising material on the president-elect himself. The material, which has been seen by the Guardian, is a series of reports on Trump’s relationship with Moscow. They were drawn up by a former western counter-intelligence official, now working as a private consultant. BuzzFeed on Tuesday published the documents, which it said were “unverified and potentially unverifiable”.

While we learned earlier that John McCain was responsible for handing over the 35-page "dossier" of compromising, if arguably fake, revelations about Trump´s connections to Russia over to the FBI, the identity of the actual creator, who was said to be an ex-British intelligence service, remained a mystery. No longer. Courtesy of the WSJ, we now know his name: the former MI-6 officer, now working for a private security-and-investigations firm "who produced the dossier of unverified allegations about President-elect Donald Trump’s activities and connections in Russia" is Christopher Steele, a director of London-based Orbis Business Intelligence.... and before readers google

Conservative commentator Monica Crowley, who is slated to serve in a top national security communications role in Donald Trump´s presidential administration, plagiarized thousands of words of her 2000 dissertation for her Columbia University Ph.D., a CNN KFile review has found. On Monday, Politico reported that it found more than a dozen examples of plagiarism in Crowley´s Ph.D. dissertation. CNN´s KFile has found nearly 40 lengthy instances of Crowley lifting paragraphs from numerous sources, including several scholarly texts, the Associated Press, and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. The revelation comes on the heels of another CNN KFile investigation, which found more than

President Obama, as he concluded his farewell address in Chicago on Tuesday, called the U.S. Constitution “just a piece of parchment." “Our Constitution is a remarkable, beautiful gift,” said Obama. “But it’s really just a piece of parchment.” “It has no power on its own,” he went on. “We the people give it power. We the people give it meaning with our participation and with the choices that we make and the alliances that we forge…” He later said that as he steps down from the presidency, he plans to play an active role in "the most important office in a democracy: citizen."
