Senator Marco Rubio exited the confirmation hearing for Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State nominee and, important to note – RUSHED TO CNN, to tell media he was “uncertain” and “doubtful” if he’d support Trump’s nominee for Secretary of State. Moments earlier Senator Marco Rubio engaged in the following questioning of T-Rex: (Video)Important to remember, Marco Rubio openly supported John Kerry and voted yes on his confirmation. While I shall never be accused of defending Vladimir Putin, factually, the assertion of who was/is the enemy in Syria -and as a consequence who was/is attacking whom- was/is entirely false. As repeatedly evidenced

If you were the President of Russia or other high ranking functionary of the Russian Government would you negotiate with a US Secretary of State who defined you as a "War Criminal" from the get-go?

Rubio has to know that, so you have to figure that he was out to wound Tellerson and by extension Trump in their efforts at diplomacy with Russia. What is Rubio´s reason for doing that as his State voted for Trump, and you would think that as a Republican Senator that Rubio would want to give Tillerson and Trump a chance to succeed and not cripple their efforts at diplomacy with Russia from the get-go. So is Rubio just exacting revenge because Trump called him "Little Marco" and blew him out of the water during the campaign?

What´s the difference if Putin is politically defined as a "War Criminal" or not?

Because as long as Putin controls thousands of tactical and strategic nuclear weapons no US Administration is in a position to do anything about that.

Rubio cut his foreign policy chops on Cubazuela. He follows those affairs closely.

Nobody has had more direct dealings with Hugo Chavez in all his vileness than Rex Tillerson. Unlike other corporate executives, T-Rex didn´t take Chavez´s piracy and contract stiffing lying down. He made life hell for the Venezuelan dictator, standing alone. Yet Rubio failed to ask a single question of Tillerson about Venezuela.

Why? Because it would have shown all Americans what a badass against filthy socialist dictators really is.

Why did Rubio fail to ask?

I think he´s being controlled by someone - who wants Tillerson scuppered. Would explain his stupid embarrassing stance about ´doing the right thing´ and voting Tillerson down.

He´s somebody´s pathetic little pawn.

President Trump is expected to nominate the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, to run the Justice Department´s civil division, two sources familiar with the matter confirmed to CNN. If confirmed by the Senate, George Conway would lead an office that would handle legal challenges to major Trump administration initiatives, such as the controversial travel ban. The Wall Street Journal first reported that Conway -- a corporate lawyer -- was expected to be tapped for the position. Conway had previously been considered for the post of US solicitor general, according to sources who spoke to CNN in December.
