Buzzfeed’s Trump report takes
‘fake news’ to a new level

New York Post, by John Podhoretz

Original Article

So the website BuzzFeed decided to publish a series of memos that have been floating around for months alleging all kinds of terrible things about Donald Trump. Some of those terrible allegations have to do with efforts to influence the American elections and Trump. Some of them have to do with Trump’s personal sexual conduct. Readers of this newspaper know well not to include me among Trump’s supporters. But the scurrilousness of what BuzzFeed has done here is so beyond the bounds of what is even remotely acceptable it should compel even those most outraged by Trump’s political excesses to come to

Comments:
Later in the piece he says as an experienced editor he´s found there is no source less trustworthy than an "intelligence" source delivering dirt on someone.

From Podhoeretz: “Fake news will become more sophisticated, and fake, ambiguous, and spun-up stories will spread widely,” warned an important American editor at the end of December 2016. His name: Ben Smith. His publication: BuzzFeed.

What an opportunity for an honest journalistic venture. Imagine being the last honest news source. These goons distributing propaganda and "Graffiti News"are merely trashing their own reputations. They are merely signing their own bankruptcy papers.

So, the CIA placed this fake golden showers nonsense into their report and briefed Obama and Trump with totally made up information as truth, information only meant to destroy Trump and then the CIA got caught. Great. So now, whatever intel they claim to be factual will be doubted from here on out. How could that possibly put the nation in danger?

Thank you imbedded Saul Alinsky Marxists who have highest level security clearances and work for the government intelligence services. You´ve served the one to whom Alinsky dedicated Rules For Radicals quite well.

Schumer was absolutely correct. The intel services have proven beyond doubt that they will do anything to destroy Trump and this nation; anything.

The sick trick of saying to someone that "I´m telling you about this [terrible, horrible, disgusting, career-ending, life-destroying] rumor floating around out there simply as a courtesy" was J. Edgar Hoover´s modus operandi and his favorite way of blackmailing people. His successor Jim Comey seems to have learned the trick as well, and CIA Director John Muhammad Brennan has been using it on steroids. Busting this hoax should destroy such corrupt entities as CNN and Buzzfeed -- but there is plenty of blame to go around -- including Jake the Fake Tapper, a host of Washington Post and NY Slimes "reporters," and in the middle of it all, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and above all others, Barack Hussein Obama.

Careful with the McCarthyism paradigm.

The ´Verona Files´ proved, and I mean PROVED, that McCarthy was right.

Like "Swift-Boating", do let us remember that the commonly held notion is bass-ackwards.

The MSM is patting itself on the back this morning for not jumping on this information that they "have had for months". In truth, Buzzfeed didn´t care about their reputation as much, so they took the bullet by publishing gossip, slander and innuendo that contained known errors. Now the MSM can report on the Buzzfeed article. These "journalists" will cause half of America to distrust the press and ignore everything they report, which is a dangerous thing in a democracy.

We all know that politics is dirty...on both sides. However the Democrat/communist/ Progressive party have taken it to the lowest level. Personally, I hope they keep this up, to demonstrate over and over again to the American people how ugly and evil they truly are. This is organized crime at its highest level. They make the Mafia look like boy scouts. I´m convinced they will self destruct right before our eyes. And I say go ahead punks, "Make our day."
God bless President Trump as our new CIC.

Virtually all news published or broadcast today by any outlet is "fake news". It is based on PR and personal bias, presented as "settled science" or plain fact, when it is neither. It is time to recognize this as an age of "yellow journalism", 360 degrees of supplemented literal truth as lies spun and presented in mainly lurid ways to attract eyeballs and elicit social or political rage.

We are being trolled by all sides, by all "causes" and by government at all levels. "Reporters" report what they are told, too lazy and ineffective to gather facts with which to judge the presented story, and too biased to bother "balancing" coverage while pitching their own thinly disguised opinion as the story.

FAR: ´´Virtually all news published or broadcast today by any outlet is ´fake news.´´

Which is why democrats and their propaganda media hate Trump´s use of Twitter so much. They can´t filter and spin anything he says, and he can respond directly to the American people when low-life people do this kind of thing.

They know that the report will be around for perpetuity now and that´s all they care about. That and delegitimizing PE Trump.

At some point this crosses the line between freedom of speech to slander and eventually to treason. If a 12 year old blogger can jokingly write that Trump took golden showers with prostitutes, and the CIA and McCain verify it as true, the line is crossed, a crime has been committed.

Sunlight is the great disinfectant that destroys fungus, scatters cockroaches, and sends the rats scurrying back to their rat holes. Buzzfeed may have actually blundered into a good result. Whether intentional or inadvertent, by publishing the memos it has exposed to daylight the entire sordid mess:

The first daylight exposure is the dirty smear campaign against Trump launched by CNN, referencing unnamed and leaked “intelligence” sources for their supposed dirt on Trump. No doubt more leaked info would have followed in a slow protracted drip drip drip by CNN.

The second daylight exposure is the blackmail of Trump attempted by someone within America’s intelligence community when he leaked smarmy descriptions of the charges to CNN. The implied threat was “don’t mess with us or we will leak more.”

Buzzfeed blew the whole plan to pieces by publishing the whole set of fake memos upon which the CNN smear was based, causing the allegations to be exposed as complete fabrications, and showing all the participants for the scum that they are.

Its a new chapter in the Trump Takedown saga. Authored by the media, and members of both political parties who think Washington is their own exclusive members-only private club.

Completely corrupt fake news.

They think the final chapter will be Trump´s resignation or impeachment. They are working up to it. They started with influencing the election, and moved on to overturning election results when that failed. Now they are manufacturing fake news ´scandals´ against Trump.

Total arrogance on their part. Its making it real easy to vote them out, and to turn them off. They will keep doing this garbage until they have their own way or are cast out of power.

If Trump is ever removed, promise every election afterwards will be an effort to remove these corrupt people from power, both parties. As for the media, the most damage that can be done to them is to turn them off. All networks, including Fox. No clicks on internet news sources either. Hit them in the pocketbook. If we ever get reliable honest media ever again, watch them but nobody else.

CNN´s press release dared Trump to point out where they were broadcasting lies. Beyond the report they were trolled with from the start, how about this?

"...the CNN report noted that both President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama — as well as eight ranking members of Congress — had been briefed regarding potentially “compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump.” The report indicated that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Adm. Mike Rogers all briefed the POTUS and PEOTUS alike on the allegations;"

No, no they did not. Trump was not briefed by leaders within the IC. That has already been confirmed in other press.

Until recently, the House was scheduled to vote on the American Health Care Act, the GOP leadership’s proposal to repeal and replace parts of Obamacare. That vote has been postponed. Obamacare caused premiums to rise for various reasons, chief among them being the vast new regulations the law imposed on insurance markets. While the American Health Care Act does repeal some Obamacare regulations, it does not go far enough. The following chart provides estimates of the average impact that various Obamacare regulations have had on premiums.

The former mayor of Washington, D.C., Adrian Fenty, and Michelle Rhee, the school chancellor he installed, took heat for their aggressive school reforms, but a new study vindicates their controversial evaluations of teachers. From 2007 to 2010, Rhee implemented a student-focused teacher-evaluation system called IMPACT, which relies heavily on student performance to judge teachers. The city still uses the system, and new data indicate that it has helped keep the best teachers and improve academic achievement. IMPACT is a system in which teachers are rated annually. It’s based half on student achievement and half on four other job-performance factors. Teachers

Nearly three months after the Trump clan moved into their new posh Washington neighborhood, neighbors of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have expressed their fury over the presidential family´s lack of community etiquette that is ´ruining´ the suburb. Residents have complained their new neighbors have been hogging parking on an already crowded street and leaving trash bags rotting on the curb. A big part of the complaint: a huge security presence, with even a trip to the playground requiring three vans. They have groused that sidewalks have been closed, public parking overrun and that the family and their staff can´t

Republican officials in Congress and the White House are now openly discussing finding a GOP replacement to Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) as Speaker of the House, after Ryan failed to pass the American Health Care Act out of the House and misled the public and President Donald Trump when he promised repeatedly the bill would pass. Ryan was caught on an audio file from October—obtained by Breitbart News and published a couple weeks ago—saying he is “not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future.” While the audio file does not make the comments clear, Ryan’s staff later claimed

In the last three months of the Obama presidency, significant personal information from and about the Trump transition was collected and widely disseminated at intelligence agencies, according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes. Dozens of intelligence reports provided to Nunes by an unnamed whistleblower were floating around during the sensitive transition period following the election, he said. The information collection itself may have technically been legal, but the failure to properly mask the information “alarmed” the California congressman, who notified the White House of the surveillance and dissemination of information on Wednesday afternoon. Many of the reporters present didn’t seem to

BRUSSELS—Republican Senator John McCain revealed he hasn’t met the President Donald Trump in person since he took office, and he urged Trump to reach out to his opponents—Democratic and otherwise—ala Ronald Reagan if he wants to repeal Obamacare. “Do some outreach. Get to know some of these Democratic leaders,” he said. “You can find common ground.” McCain said he’d met Trump “some years ago” when he was a businessman, but had not met him since. McCain said he did speak “almost daily” to National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, however. “He doesn’t seem to

Donald Trump had heard enough about policy and process. It was Thursday afternoon and members of the House Freedom Caucus were peppering the president with wonkish concerns about the American Health Care Act—the language that would leave Obamacare’s “essential health benefits” in place, the community rating provision that limited what insurers could charge certain patients, and whether the next two steps of Speaker Paul Ryan’s master plan were even feasible—when Trump decided to cut them off."Forget about the little "stuff", Trump said, according to multiple sources in the room. "Let´s focus on the big picture here."The group of roughly 30

Last night on his eponymous Fox News program, Tucker Carlson interviewed David Moyse, an attorney hired to defend 18 year-old Henry Sanchez-Milian, who is in this country illegally, against a charge of rape against a 14 year old girl in a bathroom at a Rockville, MD, high school. Moyse is one of those youngish (in his 30s) lawyers who gets himself on lists of up-and-comers, like this one, and is a name partner in a criminal defense firm.In going on TV to make the case for his client, Counselor Moyse found himself being cross-examined and saying something he soon had

Broken promises are as old as politics itself, and there are many famous examples of them in modern history. President George H.W. Bush´s "read my lips, no new taxes" pledge comes immediately to mind, as does President Bill Clinton reneging on his middle-class tax cut, and President Barack Obama never closing Guantanamo Bay. But in each of those cases, those were promises that were made in a given campaign by a given politician. The promise of Obamacare repeal is much different. Republicans ran on repealing and replacing Obamacare for seven years, over the course of four election cycles. They won the

We live in a time of “fake news” awareness, so you’d think that someone at the Los Angeles Times would know better than to publish a headline like this: “Just like her mother, Chelsea Clinton never gets a break” Let’s leave the aside the reference to Hillary Clinton, who magically was able to turn $1,000 into $100,000 in cattle futures with no regulatory consequence and delete 30,000 evidentiary emails without prosecution. Or a break. Chelsea is being groomed for political power, and all the powers of modern propaganda are being mobilized to convince voters that she has some claim to

(Video)Maryland’s governor said Friday he cannot promise parents of children in Montgomery County schools, where a freshman high school student was allegedly raped by two older teenagers, that their children will be safe. Republican Gov. Larry Hogan’s remarks came as the assault last Thursday by two immigrants, at least one of whom is in the U.S. illegally, has become a flashpoint for parents worried that the county’s “sanctuary” status for illegal immigrants exposes their school children to danger.“I’m not sure I can give assurances that their children will be safe,” he said. What he did give assurances about, however, was that he

Brexit was caused in part by climate change, former US Vice-President Al Gore has said, warning that extreme weather is creating political instability “the world will find extremely difficult to deal with”. Mr Gore, speaking at an event in which he previewed a sequel to his landmark 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, said the “principal” cause of the Syrian Civil War had been the worst drought in 900 years, which forced 1.5 million people to move from the countryside to the cities. There they met a similar number of Iraqis who had fled the conflict in their homeland, creating powder keg conditions
