Obama’s golf outing after Foley
beheading was a huge mistake

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

Sometimes a round of golf is just a round of golf. And sometimes it reveals the essence of a man. President Obama’s decision to hit the links and yuk it up with pals immediately after speaking about the beheading of James Foley was no ordinary mistake. Nor was it a simple gaffe. The decision continues to cause an uproar because, like an X-ray, there is no escaping the image. It shows there is no there there. With even his media praetorian guard appalled, the golf outing is sparking a wider understanding that Obama is hollow, empty of the routine qualities Americans expect from

Not only does he not care what America thinks, I´d say it´s more like an in your face end zone dance celebrating the fact his plan is working. The Islamic State...the caliphate...is starting to roll. Fist bump, baby!

That photo of the fist-bumping, open-mouthed, carefree Obama should be the GOP´s campaign ad along with a photo for each scandal. Finish with "America alive or Democrat liberalism dead. You choose."

But this golf-photo is, hands down, the most effective and the most offensive. I am waiting for a presser where he talks about "hiding his grief".

With even his media praetorian guard appalled, the golf outing is sparking a wider understanding that Obama is hollow, empty of the routine qualities Americans expect from their president.

I would amend the last sentence to read, "...expect from decent human beings."

What I like is that these questions are now being asked, not ignored.

As commander in chief, Obama swore to defend the nation. Yet the rise of the demonic cult calling itself Islamic State has barely stirred him.

Remember his own words, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” Not taking that seriously is a grave miscalculation.

...continued

With fellow Democrats faulting him, and with threats to America multiplying, it is impossible to excuse his conduct on the grounds of ignorance. If he only knows what the public sees, that would be more than enough to develop a strategy.

The above is particularly damning because the logic of it is not impeachable. He has no strategy for anything. But his surrogates do. And because he isn´t running the show, we have a shadow government in the White House.

Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called it “an organization that has an apocalyptic, end-of-days strategic vision that will eventually have to be defeated.”

So long as Obama must take the responsibility for bombing the snot out of "the Islamic State", it won´t happen. He will never personally order strikes against his own people.

He doesn’t care about politics. The raid was revealed to protect the only thing he does care about: himself.

Bada-bing. That is easily seen among the ruins of his presidency.

All this indicates (is) that Zippy and his handlers have come to believe that the situation is now ´safely´ beyond the need for pretenses. This is very ominous. Either they believe the damage is now irretrievable or arrangements are in place to keep them in power indefinitely. I use the word them because it might explicitly include 0bama or may not. Something to chew over.

Obama has never been held accountable for any of his actions. However, as we all learn in life, actions have consequences. The optics of that golf outing is seared into the minds of Americans. Many witnessed the horrific barbarity that took the life of Jim Foley and were revolted by the image. Obama may have been able to skate on this one with the media but America is outraged by his callous tone deaf behavior. He made a huge error. He let the American people and the world see exactly who he is which is a self-serving, fraud who didn´t have the decency to, at the very least, hide his frat-boy compulsion to play golf for one day. He not only teed off immediately, he allowed himself to be photographed laughing and fist bumping. The content of Obama´s character is shameful and his heartless conduct proves it. He is a typical narcissist, totally self-focused and incapable of feeling empathy for anyone. He is a disgrace.

My take on this comes from opinions and comments I have read from other articles. A lot of people are justifying this with Obama "needs a vacation" and I suppose I will give him that. Reluctantly only to make my point.

The fist bump is what rattles me. He claims to be a sensitive guy but I don´t know him. Thus, my opinions come from pictures. Why the fist bump when he knows someone is probably taking a picture? Is it truly a celebration of the golf game or is there more? Questions arise even more so. His loyalty to America mostly.

Unfortunately the word ´shame´ and the word ´Obama´ are not to be uttered in the same sentence. This is the 11th commandment of our beloved media. This is a man who has been catered to, fawned over, and fainted for over his political career. Why would anyone think he would take a beheading as something serious? Doesn´t involve him, so off to the links and see ya later.

And one more think to ponder about: If you add up all the things Bammy has done to undermine the country: IRS, Eric HOlder, illegal EO´s, releasing Taliban leaders, etc..etc.. Who here wants to wager that he would NOT get reelected again if he were to run? Herein lies our problem.

Finally, after six long years something Barry has done provokes outrage - who knew that all it took was a simple fist-bump during a golf game?

BTW, is it just me or does Valerie Jarrett´s cousin, Cyrus Walker, look an awful lot like Barry in the picture? Might he be able to pose as Barry´s double when Barry is otherwise engaged? If all that the double has to do is ride in the limo and wave at the crowds, I suspect no one would know.

A couple of observations about Obama´s obsession with golf...for someone who is also so obsessed with race, I find it fascinating that he is so obsessed with a "rich" white man´s sport that originated in Scotland...doesn´t exactly mesh with "Dreams from my Father." Wonder what Bill Ayres thinks. I also find it fascinating that he constantly golfs with very rich BLACK men. It was just a few years ago that he loved a good pick up basketball game -- the game of the streets -- and now it´s all golf all the time. I´m sure his peeps in Ferguson can relate.

One reason Obama may just be as giddy as a school girl before prom(the Jarrett cousin has a downright maniacal smile grin) is because he was behind the creation of Sunni ISIS. It would all makes sense.

The best way to defeat leftists when they start up their time machine, compare vacation hours of past presidents to Obama, is to mention to them Obama DOES NOT DESERVE to be on a vacation: He shredded the Middle East, crushed the US economy and has now opened the southern border to let in his illegal/terrorist buddies, just to name a few. He needs to be in DC working on these problems and if he does not want to be president anymore, resign and let someone else try. Lefties go silent.

Concentrating on Obama´s behavior (what he does and says), it´s not complicated.

His less-than-heartfelt statements about the Foley incident are examples of what is typically found on the left: Ideas (ideology) are far more important than people.

His escape to the golf course and his buddies temporarily diminishes the stresses and anxieties that come with his job (a disassociation that "protects" one´s ego or sense of self).

I suggest parents pull out any videos of the planes hitting WTC and the Pentagon, and the field in PA. and play them for their kids.

I remember not long after it happened, certain liberal groups thought it was a bad idea to keep showing footage; they claimed it was just too "upsetting" . I think it should be shown every day, still. Liberals will do ANYTHING to protect the false notion that we are safe.

Really great point #6.

Hitler laid out his strategies and philosophies explicitly in ´Mein Kampf´. Yet, everyone was shocked when he pursued them once he came into power.

When Obama said "I will stand with the Muslims", the vast majority of people believed that he did not mean what he said, inserting in their definition that what he really meant was "I will stand with the Muslims, as long as they do not harm Americans."

What if, like Hitler, Obama really said what he meant?

Oh, I don’t know. The explanation could be quite simple. You see it all the time. The last couple years before a guy retires, sometimes he emotionally checks out. He’s bored, uninvolved, and could care less what is happening in his colleagues’, employees’, or customers’ lives. When he is actually forced to put aside his travel brochures or fishing tackle catalogues or cabin floor plans or whatever he will occupy himself with the moment he is out the door for good, he only grudgingly goes through the motions, sometimes complaining the whole way. You get the bare minimum at most, and that’s on a good day.

And if you start with a president who was lazy and uninvolved in the first place, with a natural aversion to making decisions and a penchant for hogging the credit, blaming others when things go wrong, and giving people the finger on the side of his face like a snotty 12 year old, check-out time looks pretty ugly.

His post-Foley golf game may have been a “mistake,” but I doubt it was unintentional.

Resident Zero doesn’t give a damn for decency or propriety. He never has. There’s a black pit in his character where those traits should reside. Until now, though, he’s taken the trouble to pay lip-service to them – or at least to conceal, behind arguably ambiguous gestures, his contempt for all things American. (Did every nose-itch or stray eyebrow-hair really require on-camera attention from his middle finger?)

Today things are different. Dangerously different, as he apparently can’t even be bothered to fake it any longer. I fear that as his time in office grows shorter his essential nature will be further revealed. Whether it will take the form of craven, cringing catatonia or blind rage remains to be seen.

What´s most amazing about this empty word spouter is that he doesn´t even pretend to care about appearances. If GWB had indulged in such in-your-face pleasure seeking, especially after having just seen a video of an American citizen having his head sawn off with, essentially, a steak knife, the Mainstream Media would have been comparing him with Hitler and Kim Jong-il. And, tragically, 85% of black American--down from 95%--won´t let anything get in the way of their worship of this anti-American, the most divisive figure ever to occupy the White House.

Mr Goodwin´s fury has been righteous for some time, but he falls into the common trap of offering up Bill Clinton as a paragon of empathy to contrast with Obama.

Clinton´s ´I feel your pain´ was as false and cynical as anything Obama´s speechwriters have foisted on us. It is memorable not for its depth of feeling but for its obvious mendacity - particularly because pain is not transient. Clinton didn´t feel anyone´s pain because he couldn´t and, more to the point, he wouldn´t anyway.

The photo accompanying the article is appalling and alarming.
Barry´s new .ahem.." friend " Cyrus Walker looks as euphoric and ecstatic as Barry.
Men playing golf or tennis or other sports with other men don´t generally giggle and behave like a
romantic couple .
Valerie Jarrett , described as his mother figure , was the matchmaker between her cousin Cyrus and Barry.
She probably told him to go out and play while she runs the country.
Limbaugh insists on describing Barry´s increasingly bizarre public behavior as some sort of Machavellian feint.
While the rest of the world sees , as Goodwin aptly described
" ....an empty-headed frat boy, numb to the world.
Maybe that’s not just an appearance.
Maybe it’s the truth. Maybe that’s all there is. "
There are obvious conclusions from Barry´s accelerating
and abnormal public displays which must have been going on in private for years .
There aren´t any adults in his inner circle or else he is completely out of control.
Probably both.
The photos must be used by Republicans in November and tied to every Democrat.

Mark Levin said the other day that individuals don´t matter to Obama - only his overall philosophy of how he needs to remake the world into his vision of UTOPIA.

This of course is the communist point of view - we plebes don´t matter, and the people at the top don´t care because they exempt themselves from the utopia they´ve forced on the rest of us.

Our founders were so unusual in respecting the individual as the supreme entity instead of the faceless crowds who were forced by masters to follow a vision that overrode their own initiative.

Al Qaeda asks ISIS to release
British cab driver: Abducting
him was ´wrong under Islamic law´
New York Daily News, by Michael Walsh    Original Article

The Islamic State´s savagery has been condemned by countless people across the globe — even some members of Al Qaeda. A local commander of Jabhat al-Nusra, a branch of Al Qaeda operating in Syria, appealed to ISIS to release British hostage Alan Henning, 47, because he thought the taxi driver from Manchester truly came to Syria to help suffering Muslims, The Independent reported. The Al Qaeda member reportedly told his then-allies that abducting Henning was "wrong under Islamic law" and "counter-productive." U.S. filmmaker Bilal Abdul Kareem told the British paper that the exchange took place just four days after Henning was taken hostage

Protesters from anti-war group Code Pink stood up during Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Tuesday to loudly express opposition to the ongoing aerial campaign against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, repeatedly interrupting senators and panelists and driving Democratic chairman Carl Levin up the wall. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Martin Dempsey had just walked into the hearing room when protesters clad in pink and holding anti-war slogans crowded just behind the panel. “No more war!” they chanted, their voices mingling chaotically. Levin allowed the protesters about a minute to vent before the gavel came

The War on Poverty

Today, the U.S. Census Bureau will release its annual report on poverty. This report is noteworthy because this year marks the 50th anniversary of President Lyndon Johnson’s launch of the War on Poverty. Liberals claim that the War on Poverty has failed because we didn’t spend enough money. Their answer is just to spend more. But the facts show otherwise. Since its beginning, U.S. taxpayers have spent $22 trillion on Johnson’s War on Poverty (in constant 2012 dollars). Adjusting for inflation, that’s three times more than was spent on all military wars since the American Revolution. The federal government currently

CHICAGO – Domestic violence is extremely widespread among Hispanic families, according to a study released Monday by the Allstate Foundation. Sixty-four percent of respondents in a nationwide survey of Hispanic women said they personally knew a victim of abuse, while 30 percent admitted to having been abused themselves. Asked whether physical, sexual, emotional or financial abuse was their reason for escaping from a dangerous relationship, 88 percent put physical abuse in first place, while 39 percent named financial abuse. "A lot of people can´t identify financial abuse — they always think the worst thing is being slapped around and they don´t understand the

In 2012, a remarkable battle unfolded in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. Patton Boggs, the D.C. lobbying-and-law powerhouse co-founded by Thomas Hale Boggs Jr., faced off against Chevron, the sort of multinational corporation Patton Boggs normally represents. To the amazement of legal observers, the giant oil company accused Patton Boggs of participating in an extortion campaign rooted in the rain forest in Ecuador. On June 25, 2014, 19 year-old Brendan Tevlin hopped into his car to return home after spending the evening at a friend’s house. Minutes later, Ali Muhammad Brown approached the vehicle as it was stopped at a red light and fired ten rounds into the car, killing Brendan. Originally, the teen’s murder was labeled an attempted robbery, allowing the media to remain silent. Now, court documents have revealed that Brown’s motivation for killing Tevlin had less to do with thievery, and more to do with America’s pushback against Jihadist terrorism in the Middle East. First Lady Michelle Obama has made healthy eating and exercise her signature issue. But, a recent study published by the Sage Journal found that her “elitist” advice actually “shames poor and middle class mothers.” The College Fix added that the study found that Michelle Obama’s healthy eating program is also sexist. It’s also sexist, the study’s authors suggest, noting that “intentionally or not, it places the burden of a healthy home-cooked meal on women.” Sage Journals published the study by North Carolina researchers Sarah Bowen, Sinikka Elliott and Joslyn Brenton. Here are a few of the findings: Magazines such as Good Housekeeping and

Whatever the result of the forthcoming referendum, the relations between England and Scotland will henceforth undergo a profound change. Under the present arrangement the Scots have twice as many votes per head as the English – one to govern themselves, by electing members to the Scottish Parliament, and one to govern the English, by electing members to the Parliament of the United Kingdom. And while the English are more likely to vote Conservative, the Scots send only Labour members to Westminster – even if they don’t send them to Edinburgh. This is because the Scots see the Labour Party as

A former Veterans Affairs supervisor has been sentenced for stealing up to $20,000 of government property, a recent Justice Department release announced. From 2010 to 2013, 48-year-old Venita Godfrey-Scott directed her employees to use materials and supplies intended for VA medical center upkeep on her own house. These taxpayer-funded home improvement projects included “a deck in her backyard, carpet installation, and various kitchen, bathroom and basement improvements.” She also instructed employees to buy other necessary materials with her government-issued credit card, and had them work on these projects during normal work hours, when they were being paid by the VA.

All of the health plans offered by Obamacare exchanges in five states include coverage for abortions in a potential violation of the law that says at least two plans must be available to consumers who don’t want any association with the controversial procedure, according to a government audit released late Monday. Altogether, more than 1,000 Obamacare plans offer abortion coverage in 28 states that don’t prohibit it, the Government Accountability Office said, including 95 percent of the plans in California and all of the plans in Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Hawaii and New Jersey. I was also a Holocaust refugee and I’m extremely concerned that Jews don’t do to another people what was done to them,” said the activist. “I think that’s fair,” Senator Warren responded. “You recently said that you believe that Israel has the right to self-defense," the activist continued. Mohamed Elibiary was until last week a senior member of DHS’ Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC). After years of controversy about his status at DHS, Elibiary announced his final day with the department on Twitter earlier this month and said he would remain close to the agency. Media outlets have raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his departure, speculating that his

Of the 48 states on the list, three contributed troops to the invasion force (the United Kingdom, Australia and Poland). The Department of Labor coordinated with the White House on whether or not to release hidden portions of former Labor Secretary Hilda Solis’ schedule as Solis battled an FBI investigation into her illegal fundraising for President Obama. New emails provided to The Daily Caller from the nonprofit legal research firm Cause of Action show the White House thanking the Department of Labor for “flagging” a public information request for “withheld” portions of Solis’ schedule. The White House then asked for the name of the conservative group making the request — information that Labor officials were eager to give up. As TheDC previously

The Obama administration is preparing to introduce major steps to phase out production of a popular chemical coolant used in refrigerators and air conditioners, citing growing evidence that the substance is contributing to the warming of the planet. The White House will announce on Tuesday a series of voluntary commitments by some of the country’s largest chemical firms and retailers to move rapidly away from R-134a and similar compounds used in nearly every office, home and automobile in the country, according to current and former U.S. officials familiar with the effort. There’s a lot of competition for Barack Obama’s biggest lie. The man who could assure the American public with a straight face over thirty times that they could keep their doctor under his health plan, when he knew that to be completely false, is one hellluva fibber. But execrable as that serial prevarication may have been, it doesn’t hold a proverbial candle to his most recent whopper — that the Islamic State is not Islamic — not to mention its corollary, or perhaps subsidiary lie, that real religions do not indulge in murder. Islam has been doing that pretty much straight

Is a mutiny happening around President Obama? It appears possible that the president may not have made two of his most recent decisions with complete free will. The announcement that he would delay his immigration initiative until after the election and his formal announcement that the United States would take military action against the Islamic State could have been coerced. Maybe Democratic leaders in Congress and a few members of the Obama team have had it. Could it be that, after President Obama briefed Democrats in Congress on the immigration plan, they balked? Maybe the president was told that, if he

Washington - The current threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, will test not only the resolve and strategic judgment of America and its allies, but also our nation’s fidelity to a basic constitutional principle. Our Constitution reserves to Congress the power to declare war and designates our president as the commander in chief, but our recent history has been characterized by executive overreach and legislative abdication in the initiation of military action. The current crisis gives us an opportunity to restore the proper balance between the branches. America’s history since 2001 should compel us to fix the way
