Obama decides to break away
from biking and golfing at Martha´s
Vineyard to get back to Washington
in rare vacation break

President Barack Obama is getting off the island. In a rare move for him, the president planned a break in the middle of his Martha´s Vineyard vacation to return to Washington on Sunday night for meetings with Vice President Joe Biden and other advisers on the U.S. military campaign in Iraq and tensions between police and protesters in Ferguson, Missouri. The White House has been cagey about why the president needs to be back in Washington for those discussions. He´s received multiple briefings on both issues while on vacation. The White House had also already announced Obama´s plans to return

One he wants to get away from Michelle, can´t blame him. Two it´s all about optics. It won´t do him any good. No one cares about him any more. He´s President in name only.

As speculated before:

To get Bo, and that other dog they bought.

To pick up Sasha from camp.
To get away from wife
To get away from mother in law
To get his weekly medical treatment.

To pick up more choom, etc

And this was necessary because, why?

There is no such thing as Skype? Barry is actually a president who cares about, well, anything? Joe Biden isn´t borderline retarded so his face to face input is relevant?

No, I´d say Zippy can´t wait to get the heck away from the Mooch, the ten minutes he spent with the daughters exhausted him, and Reggie Love awaits in the Oval Office with a blue dress and a cigar.

Leave it to the Associated Press to shade a headline dishonestly. The headline reads: "...(T)o get back to Washington in rare vacation break." It should read: "...(T)o get back to Washington in rare break from vacation." See? I´ve never seen a president more averse to work. All he seems to do is play and party.

He also called foreign leaders to discuss the tensions between Ukraine and Russia, as well as between Israel and Hamas....´I think it´s fair to say there are, of course, ongoing complicated situations in the world, and that´s why you´ve seen the president stay engaged,´ White House spokesman Eric Schultz said.

I´m almost speechless at saying Obama is engaged. To his own ego, perhaps, but certainly not to unfolding dire events both here and overseas.

Were we not told by Obama himself and a few other flunkies that he is always "in touch" with events no matter where he is?

So if he´s so "engaged" and "in touch", and never misses being briefed on important matters, why can´t he do it from the Vineyard?

ANSWER: Someone decided that the optics of Obama´s monumental vacation and golf binges at a time even Hagel characterized as "the world burning", is not a good idea.

Just a guess, but I´m thinking the Democrat Party may have a few things to say about Obama´s utter disregard for world events, for America and for her people.

Perhaps his so-called important meetings are just a cover-up for delivering one daughter back to DC and picking up the other to go to Vineyard - and we lucky tax payers get to pay for it. This is a rather strange "family vacation" - it appears that none of them want to spend too much time together.

I agree that b.o. is back in D.C. to pick up his daughter sasha and take her BACK to Marty´s viney after her latest camp adventure. Even THEY understand what a terrible photo-op it would be to have his lil´ daughter fly AF1 by herself, while "common people" (TAX-PAYERS) who pay for their monthly travels, have stay-cations because most can´t afford a REAL vacation like the obamas enjoy monthly. I can´t imagine WHY he would worry about it though, when he has the kind of headlines and dishonest-suck-up coverage from the asse-press "staff" and the rest of the lemmings in the "msm". Sickening.

The Northeast, once the nation’s political engine that produced presidents, House speakers and Senate giants including the late Edward M. The Census Bureau reports that population growth has shifted to the South and the result is that the 11 states that make up the Northeast are being bled dry of representation in Washington. Critics blame rising taxes in states such as Massachusetts and Connecticut for limiting population growth in the Northeast to just 15 percent from 1983 to 2013, while the

On the night when a police officer was shot in a Missouri town torn by racial strife, the president donned a shiny tuxedo to attend a ritzy black awards dinner, where he said police nationwide are to blame for community mistrust, even claiming that “most Americans” think the country is racist. The Secret Service was unaware for four days that a man had fired a high-powered rifle at the White House in 2011 in a ´fumbled´ response that left the Obamas furious, says a new report. Officers allegedly performed a string of security lapses after Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez shot at least seven bullets at the executive mansion in Washington from his car. At the time, President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and their older daughter Malia were not at home, but their younger daughter Sasha and Mrs Obama´s mother, Marian Robinson, were inside. It comes as the Secret Service is facing more questions over

President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot “feel” it. During an interview with 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft, Obama said, “the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.” “When I came into office, our economy was in crisis,” Obama said. The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administration’s success. “I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis,” Obama said. Well, that didn’t take long. Just two weeks into the new season of “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg tore into each other during a commercial break — in front of their stunned studio audience. The spat erupted Thursday after Goldberg interrupted O’Donnell to go to a commercial break before the mother of five was finished commenting in a “Hot Topic” discussion about spanking children on the ABC gabfest. O’Donnell refuses to wear an earpiece to stay in contact with producers while the live show is airing, so she had no clue it was time to stop talking.

President Barack Obama´s intelligence briefings have provided him with specific information since before he won re-election in 2012 about the growing threat of the terror group now known alternatively as ISIS and ISIL, an administration insider told MailOnline on Monday. ´Unless someone very senior has been shredding the president´s daily briefings and telling him that the dog ate them, highly accurate predictions about ISIL have been showing up in the Oval Office since before the 2012 election,´(snip) ´Any time you´re hired by a boss to advise him about what to do in a high-stakes area, and he ignores you for

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed legislation imposing the nation's first statewide ban on single-use plastic bags, driven to action by a buildup of litter and damage to aquatic ecosystems. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016. The law allows grocers to charge a fee of at least 10 cents for using paper bags. State Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Los Angeles,

Democrats think conservatives in general, and Tea Partiers in particular, are stupid. Here’s how to reinforce that belief: Sit out the 2014 congressional elections because your favorite candidate lost his primary bid to an establishment Republican. If you live in Kansas, for example, you can suck your thumb while Democrat ringer Greg Orman beats Republican Senator Pat Roberts. If you’re a Kentucky conservative, you can stay home and b***h about Mitch while Alison “Rubberstamp” Grimes heads to Washington. If you’re in Mississippi, you can stay mad at Thad and allow Travis “no repeal” Childers to win. That’ll show those RINOs! It
