The tranquillity of Obama´s mind
CNN, by Newt Gingrich

Original Article

When White House press secretary Josh Earnest said this week that President Barack Obama had "substantially improved the tranquillity of the global community," many observers reacted with disbelief. (snip) It is as though the more dangerous the world becomes the more Obama hides in a fantasy world of avoiding the responsibilities of the presidency. He uses the office to surround himself with court jesters who distract him in an enlightened and noble way from the growing failures of his policies and the rapidly expanding threats to the civilized world. Finally, as Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to flex his muscles

I was surprised by the tone of this article coming from CNN. Then I noticed the author and CNN´s disclaimer that "The opinions expressed in this commentary are solely those of the author". I´m sure that´s the case!

...actually he may be the first to be taken away in a padded wagon, which would bring up the 25th...

...nothing here to be seen that wasn´t there in the beginning. Barry probably is a "clinical" narcissist, we know he has never stayed with a job. Was paid to write book he couldn´t finish. Best exemplifies the theory of "The Peter Principal", even before being elected to this office. And you could add a little of the "Peter Pan Syndrome" to his file...

...and here we are, six years in and there are those who wonder why this is all happening. As our country is assaulted from within, the world becomes more fragile...

Obama sees the US as the source of all instability in the world....so when he says the world is more tranquil it´s because he has been working at removing the US as world leader.

BO is a passive aggressive twit.

The whole "no drama" thing was presented as a man of "preternatural" calm. In reality he´s a vacant, narcissistic, shallow, and markedly unaccomplished man who just can´t be bothered by taking responsibility.

He looked completely ´out of it´ on Friday at his press briefing. He shows the wild emotional swings from day to day which is an indication he is using too much. Hopefully one day his handlers won´t want him to get in front of the microphone and we can all relax. A mental breakdown is not too far in the future if he doesn´t stop.

As a quick reminder, Valerie Jarrett told David Remnick the following:

“I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary. He knows exactly how smart he is. … He knows how perceptive he is. He knows what a good reader of people he is. And he knows that he has the ability — the extraordinary, uncanny ability — to take a thousand different perspectives, digest them and make sense out of them, and I think that he has never really been challenged intellectually. … So what I sensed in him was not just a restless spirit but somebody with such extraordinary talents that had to be really taxed in order for him to be happy. … He’s been bored to death his whole life. He’s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.”

Extremely forceful and well-written. I noticed that CNN had to distance itself from Newt´s comments before they published the column, the cowards.

Still, the article states without equivocation what we on the Right, especially here on L.Com have been saying, that Obama is not simply out of touch, but perhaps out of his mind.

The self-image of Obama as a bear is so delusional that it brings into question the degree to which he is simply out of touch with reality.

When the "bear´s" entire repertoire, aside from decrying the downing of the airplane, consists entirely of joking around, smiling, hitting beer and burger joints, playing golf, and avoiding confrontations, it is legitimate to question his mental health.

I see CNN is testing the waters by dipping their toe into the pool of the truth...

My observation is that the Øbamboozler is very comfortable in his role as the official Hood Ornament of the Left. Plenty of golf outings, lavish vacations and even sharing a milk shake with Joe Biden (D Imbecile) are his reward for not working too hard and basically staying out of the way... per agreement with Vlad, while quietly working on weakening America any way possible as the world spins madly out of control with no leash on the Communists.

Obama is a simple-minded person. His thoughts consist of little more than catch phrases. Very little if any intelligence shows in his words or actions. He is rather an invisible being since there is never any substance in what he says and his day-to-day living is pure self-indulgence. The propagandists sold his pretentiousness as profundity. Hopefully that is finally wearing thinner and the silliness of it all is becoming apparent to a lot more people. He certainly is not a tranquil individual, but he is definitely intellectually and emotionally numb. A dangerous world is becoming even more frightening by having someone in the White House who is less than mediocre.

It should be obvious by now to anyone being fair that Obama is in way over his head. Like any person with a selfish teenager´s view of the world --- which began the day I was born and is here to support just me --- Obama moves on very quickly from his personal disasters which are never his fault. And when mom and/or dad says if I don´t clean my room, I´ll be grounded, why I just set fire to the house or crash the car! Now they have something to really worry about and will get off my back!

Notice how the IRS scandal, Benghazi, the VA deaths, illegal children invading Texas, etc. have all moved to the back burner as a new self-inflicted scandal looms on the horizon.

Have not had much time to read lately, so this has probably been pointed out many times, but --

Obama´s referring to himself as "the Bear" is a prime example of his cultural tone-deafness and superficial (though on paper, superior) education: Russia has always been "The Bear." Does this pipsqueak really think he can go toe-to-toe with Vladimir or is he just dumb as dirt?

The damage such men do when they come to power is unimaginable. It always leads to massive human misery and a cessation of civilization. If there is one thing Chelsea Clinton is most worried about, it may be that her soon-to-be child will grow up in a world without elephants. Two hundred years ago on Aug. 24, the U.S. Capitol and the White House went up in flames. If not for the quick thinking of a State Department clerk, the Declaration of Independence, and many other documents dating to the founding, would have as well. On the morning of Aug. 20, 1814, Secretary of State James Monroe stood atop a bluff near Aquasco Mills, and gazed three miles south toward Benedict, a village on Maryland’s Patuxent River. Though he was without a spyglass, through squinted eyes Monroe spotted British ships coming up the river and their soldiers coming ashore. With that,

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. I hated

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It

The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016. In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: “If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking — me and McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. Graham, 59, also dismissed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 43, as a presidential candidate, saying he is too young. “He’s a good

Speaking at a Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors event last night, Hillary Clinton decided to talk about Alexis de Tocqueville. The problem? She got it wrong -- by about a hundred years. "There´s a wonderful phrase that was first used by Alexis de Tocqueville, who came to the United States in the very early 1930s and traveled around our country," said Hillary Clinton, a probable 2016 presidential candidate. "And he was so amazed at how Americans organized themselves -- you know, coming from aristocratic Europe, which was totally top-down and hierarchical -- he couldn´t believe how many of us were joiners.
