The Strange Leak of the
New Exposé ‘Clinton, Inc.’

Daily Beast, by Lloyd Grove

Original Article

Sure, hotly anticipated books leak all the time. But 10 days early? And by a tipster who seems to be posing as a Tea Partier—but who one source suspects is affiliated with the Clintons? The marketing and publicity folks at Broadside Books, the conservative imprint of HarperCollins, had ambitious and detailed plans for the rollout of Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine. They included plentiful television and media appearances by the author, Daniel Halper, who is online editor of the right-leaning Weekly Standard—notably an early guest shot on The O’Reilly Factor, the highly rated prime-time show on the Fox

I suspect someone affiliated with the Clintons, who obviously had help from someone inside HC. "Wright" will turn out not to exist.

Emailing out an entire book in pdf is essentially pirating the book, which is illegal.

In other words, it is blank pages. Sorry, she can´t recall.

Sadly, the muck of the Clinton world is a plentiful trove for muck-rakers, and we are doomed to get much more of this.

And, again sadly, as odious as this muck is to us, it’s the coin of the realm on the left.

Someone inside the publishing company that wanted to get this to the Clinton people so they could spin ahead of time leaked the book. It is obvious, that a demoRAT operative wrote the email since they went out of their way to make the "conservative" appear to be uneducated with all of the spelling and grammatical errors.

Hey, aren´t all conservatives uneducated rubes? Scalia´s Supreme Court decisions are always riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. (Sarcasm on.)

These people are pathetic and dangerous.

Not long ago, I learned the hard way what not to say in prison. One afternoon, a heavily tattooed fellow inmate with the faintest hint of a mohawk and a secret connection to an endless supply of chocolate milk was returning to the barracks from his job milking cows at the prison farm. In a fit of bonhomie and thinking I might score myself a carton or two, I called out to him in greeting. To better insinuate myself, I decided to avoid what some here call “white collar speak” and others call “talking fancy”—i.e., proper, grammatical English—and use a bit

President Barack Obama tried to get himself a bit more political space Thursday to make a decision about whether to expand the U.S military campaign against Islamic militants in Iraq and Syria, but in so doing he may have dealt himself a significant political blow by suggesting that his policy on the issue is adrift. “We don’t have a strategy yet,” Obama said as he took questions from reporters in the White House briefing room. The president’s aim was clearly to defuse building expectations that U.S. military strikes in Syria were imminent as part of a broadening drive to defeat the

The 81-year-old host of E!’s “Fashion Police” was rushed to the hospital after she “stopped breathing,” an unnamed source told E! News. The same source told the network doctors were “putting a scope down her throat to check her vocal chords.” While authorities would not identify Rivers as the patient transferred to Mount Sinai, the New York City Fire Department told FOX411 the person transported was in cardiac arrest. FBI National Domestic Threat

The FBI’s most recent national threat assessment for domestic terrorism makes no reference to Islamist terror threats, despite last year’s Boston Marathon bombing and the 2009 Fort Hood shooting—both carried out by radical Muslim Americans. Instead, the internal FBI intelligence report concluded in its 2013 assessment published this month that the threat to U.S. internal security from extremists is limited to attacks and activities by eight types of domestic extremist movements—none motivated by radical Islam. They include anti-government militia groups and white supremacy extremists, along with “sovereign citizen” nationalists, and anarchists. Other domestic threat groups outlined by the FBI assessment include violent

"Rooting out a cancer like ISIL won’t be easy and it won’t be quick,” President Obama told the American Legion’s annual convention in Charlotte on Tuesday, August 26. He repeated the thought in his pre-Labor Day weekend press conference on August 28. A week before, the day after the murder of James Foley, Obama had remarked, “From governments and peoples across the Middle East there has to be a common effort to extract this cancer, so that it does not spread.” These expressions of alarm at a malignant cancer in the Middle East are an improvement over Obama’s cavalier dismissal,

The Ebola virus sweeping through West Africa has mutated repeatedly during the current outbreak, a fact that could hinder diagnosis and treatment of the devastating disease, according to scientists who have genetically sequenced the virus in scores of victims. The findings, published Thursday in the journal Science, also offer new insights into the origins of the largest and most deadly Ebola outbreak in history, which has killed more than 1,500 people in four countries and shows few signs of slowing. It also provided another reminder of the deep toll the outbreak has taken on health workers and others in the

RICHMOND, Va. — Lawyers defending Maureen McDonnell at her and her husband’s corruption trial presented a portrait of the former first lady of Virginia that was embarrassing and at times even humiliating. Ms. McDonnell, whose defense began and rested on Wednesday, was described as hiding purchases from her husband, former Gov. Bob McDonnell, when the family was financially stressed early in his career; exploding in anger at her husband while he sought in vain to mollify her; and, ultimately, turning to a wealthy nutritional supplement executive to fill an emotional void in her life. The oldest of the McDonnells’ five children,

Egypt and the United Arab Emirates carried out airstrikes in Tripoli this weekend against the Islamist militants who were in the process of taking control of that city and its airport. The airstrikes appear to have failed to prevent that takeover. The government of Libya is, in the words of its ambassador to Egypt, “unable to protect its institutions, its airports, and natural resources, especially the oil fields.” Moreover, the U.S., which was unable to protect its personnel in Benghazi and has abandoned its embassy in Tripoli, isn’t about to help. For all the talk about Hillary Clinton hugging it out and Hillary Clinton’s dead-broke comment and Hillary Clinton bringing Bill back to the White House, I’ve long felt that there is a sleeper issue in play for 2016: Will voters want to give Democrats control of the White House for 12 straight years? The country has shown a natural tendency to rotate the presidency between the parties, at least for the last 60 years. And no matter how much Hillary distances herself from President Obama, that will cast a bit of a shadow over her campaign, in my view. I think much of

Barack Obama presented Mitt Romney with a gift in 2012: A struggling economy, sluggish growth, a paucity of jobs, and a health care law that was extremely unpopular. In what should have been a landslide rejection of Obama´s policies, Romney flubbed it big time and allowed his opponent to define him - and Republicans - in the most unflattering way imaginable.
