Pelosi: Dems Could Have Impeached
Bush But Didn´t For Good Of Country

Breitbart TV, by Pam Key

Thursday at her weekly briefing, House Minority Leader Rep Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked why when she was Speaker of the House she did not move forward on the requests of her members to impeach then-President George W. Bush over the arguments his administration made for entering into war with Iraq in 2003. Pelosi accused Bush of being guilty of impeachable offense saying he "sent us into a war based on a false representation of the treat of weapons of mass destruction." But she added after the "shameful, irresponsible an wrong" attempted impeachment of President Bill Clinton she "did not want

Wrong. Congress bipartisanly agreed to send us into a war based on intelligence regarding the threat of weapons of mass destruction - all of which was reviewed by key members of both parties in Congress.

GW Bush never did anything impeachable, unlike Obama.
Obama shouldn´t be impeached, he should be tried for treason against the United States of America.

We invaded Iraq primarily because of almost a decade of Saddam Hussein ignoring the UN imposed provisions of the agreement to end hostilities in 1993. Primarily his flaunting of the no fly zones, continued harassment of the Kurds and aggression against allied observers (like launching SAMs at American aircraft monitoring the no fly zones.
WMD´s were a very minor paret of the argumenmade by theadministration for the invasion, its just the one that the left picked up on AFTER the war when none were found.

Remember, Ted Kennedy based his opposition to the resolution not on a belief that the weapons didn´t exist but on the very firm belief that they DID exist and would be used on both our troops and against Israel, and that Israel would then be goaded into a nuclear response.

Nasty Pelostomy must have slept through that speech.

I wonder if PelØsi even remotely remembers what it is like to tell the truth on anything??? I´m guessing after so many years of telling lie after lie, she probably doesn´t have a clue what telling the truth feels like any more...

Just a thinly-veiled attempt to discourage an impeachment effort. The left must be getting a bit worried.

The big difference with Clinton was that, while many were disgusted by Billy Jeff´s indiscretions and sexual conduct (whether it was really "sex" or not), they did not see a threat to the Constitution. Thus, they were lukewarm at best on impeachment.

The Emperor is in the process of consolidating his dictatorial power, is aggressively doing everything to weaken and undermine the nation, and is openly hostile to the limits dictated by the Constitution. That is why this is not the same as B.J. and Monica, and that is why the Emperor must be impeached - now.

For the good of the country.

IMO, it feels good to talk and think about impeaching the Kenyan, but it will go absolutely NOWHERE until both houses of Congress agree. Even when President Polk was impeached, he finished his term of office. In this case an impeachment would be a Vote of No Confidence. We´ve done everything but impeach. It´ll never fly.

He later admitted he had none, but couldn´t back down for fear of looking weak. Note: Hate speech, not hate crimes. YouGov asked people about hate crimes for its poll too and found bipartisan support for the federal law that provides steeper penalties for crimes motivated by hatred of the victim’s race, religion, gender, or national origin. Sixty-four percent of Dems gave thumbs-up to that versus 54 percent of Republicans. A plurality of Republicans also support expanding that law to target hate crimes committed against gays: 44 percent say yes versus 30 percent who say no. Hate-crimes laws matter in the sentencing phase. If you’re guilty of the underlying offense, then you can be punished more

Mitt Romney just made a savvy next step in his quiet, camouflaged 2016 campaign. Like a growing number of Americans, Romney refused to declare a political party when he filled out a new voter registration reform in Utah. It´s the sort of party-rejecting step that could position a reinvented Romney to become America´s first non-Democrat or Republican president since the 1800s. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the new Utah registration form completed and signed by Romney last August deliberately leaves out any party identification. Scientists are to challenge the climate-change sceptics by vastly improving the speed with which they can prove links between a heatwave or other extreme weather event and man-made changes to the atmosphere. It typically takes about a year to determine whether human-induced global warming played a role in a drought, storm, torrential downpour or heatwave – and how big a role it played. This allows climate sceptics to dismiss any given extreme event as part of the “natural weather variation” in the immediate aftermath, while campaigners automatically blame it on global warming. Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. I hated

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It

The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016. In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: “If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking — me and McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. Graham, 59, also dismissed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 43, as a presidential candidate, saying he is too young. “He’s a good

Speaking at a Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors event last night, Hillary Clinton decided to talk about Alexis de Tocqueville. The problem? She got it wrong -- by about a hundred years. "There´s a wonderful phrase that was first used by Alexis de Tocqueville, who came to the United States in the very early 1930s and traveled around our country," said Hillary Clinton, a probable 2016 presidential candidate. "And he was so amazed at how Americans organized themselves -- you know, coming from aristocratic Europe, which was totally top-down and hierarchical -- he couldn´t believe how many of us were joiners.
