Pelosi: Dems Could Have Impeached
Bush But Didn´t For Good Of Country

Breitbart TV, by Pam Key

Thursday at her weekly briefing, House Minority Leader Rep Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked why when she was Speaker of the House she did not move forward on the requests of her members to impeach then-President George W. Bush over the arguments his administration made for entering into war with Iraq in 2003. Pelosi accused Bush of being guilty of impeachable offense saying he "sent us into a war based on a false representation of the treat of weapons of mass destruction." But she added after the "shameful, irresponsible an wrong" attempted impeachment of President Bill Clinton she "did not want

Wrong. Congress bipartisanly agreed to send us into a war based on intelligence regarding the threat of weapons of mass destruction - all of which was reviewed by key members of both parties in Congress.

Obama shouldn´t be impeached, he should be tried for treason against the United States of America.

We invaded Iraq primarily because of almost a decade of Saddam Hussein ignoring the UN imposed provisions of the agreement to end hostilities in 1993. Primarily his flaunting of the no fly zones, continued harassment of the Kurds and aggression against allied observers (like launching SAMs at American aircraft monitoring the no fly zones.
WMD´s were a very minor paret of the argumenmade by theadministration for the invasion, its just the one that the left picked up on AFTER the war when none were found.

Remember, Ted Kennedy based his opposition to the resolution not on a belief that the weapons didn´t exist but on the very firm belief that they DID exist and would be used on both our troops and against Israel, and that Israel would then be goaded into a nuclear response.

Nasty Pelostomy must have slept through that speech.

I wonder if PelØsi even remotely remembers what it is like to tell the truth on anything??? I´m guessing after so many years of telling lie after lie, she probably doesn´t have a clue what telling the truth feels like any more...

Just a thinly-veiled attempt to discourage an impeachment effort. The left must be getting a bit worried.

The big difference with Clinton was that, while many were disgusted by Billy Jeff´s indiscretions and sexual conduct (whether it was really "sex" or not), they did not see a threat to the Constitution. Thus, they were lukewarm at best on impeachment.

The Emperor is in the process of consolidating his dictatorial power, is aggressively doing everything to weaken and undermine the nation, and is openly hostile to the limits dictated by the Constitution. That is why this is not the same as B.J. and Monica, and that is why the Emperor must be impeached - now.

For the good of the country.

IMO, it feels good to talk and think about impeaching the Kenyan, but it will go absolutely NOWHERE until both houses of Congress agree. Even when President Polk was impeached, he finished his term of office. In this case an impeachment would be a Vote of No Confidence. We´ve done everything but impeach. It´ll never fly.

He later admitted he had none, but couldn´t back down for fear of looking weak. Vladimir Putin has issued a defiant warning that the MH17 crash must not be used for ´selfish political ends´ and urged separatists to allow international experts access to the crash site. A pernicious, little-known Obama administration policy – one that that incentivizes adult illegal immigrants to use children as human shields to escape arrest and deportation at the border – largely has escaped the media’s notice. This same policy is driving the historic surge of children at the border, as everyone from coyotes to illegal immigrant adults already in America seeks to use children to guarantee their safe passage into the country, or to protect them from deportation if they are illegally living here. The flood of illegal immigrant children, piling up like human debris on the US border, won’t stop

Barack Obama has managed to do something one would hardly imagine a President could achieve by the midpoint of his second term. He has managed to anger most segments of the American populace, including those to the far Left who constitute a significant part of his base. It has taken time for most people to reach this point. Americans are amazingly patient with their presidents, but Obama has pushed them beyond scandal fatigue. The “final straw” appears to be the illegal alien invasion masterminded by Obama. At a political event in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, President Obama devoted only 40 seconds to the shooting down of the Malaysian airline, his first statement to the world following the news. His emotionless reference to the attack as ‘a terrible tragedy’ seemed disconnected from the horrific moment, particularly as he immediately reverted to script to praise his administration and criticise Republicans. It was a far cry from President Reagan’s 1983 fierce denunciation of the Soviet shooting down of a Korean airliner as a ‘crime against humanity’. LOS ANGELES — Actor James Garner, whose whimsical style in the 1950s TV Western “Maverick” led to a stellar career in TV and films such as “The Rockford Files” and his Oscar-nominated “Murphy’s Romance,” has died, police said. He was 86. He was found dead of natural causes at his home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles Saturday evening, Los Angeles police officer Alonzo Iniquez said early Sunday. Police responded to a call around 8 p.m. PDT and confirmed Garner’s identity from family members, Iniquez told The Associated Press. There was no immediate word on a more specific cause of death. Garner had suffered a stroke in May 2008, just weeks after his 80th birthday.

France´s Socialist government provoked outrage today by becoming the first in the world to ban protests against Israeli action in Palestine. In what is viewed as an outrageous attack on democracy, Socialist Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said mass demonstrations planned for the weekend should be halted. [Snip] Thousands were set to march against the ongoing slaughter in Gaza, calling for an immediate end to hostilities in which civilians including many children have been killed. But Mr Cazeneuve fears there might be a repeat of the fights between ‘ultra’ Jewish vigilantes and pro-Palestinians which happened after a demonstration last Sunday.

The four-week trial ended Wednesday. The jury deliberated for 18 hours over two days,
