Are you ready for a TB epidemic?

Is stupidity or malevolence behind the policy of distributing Central American illegal alien children around the country among the general population? The question must be asked because alarming numbers of these unfortunates are carrying tuberculosis, a lethal disease that had largely been eradicated from the United States. (snip)“A person is considered to be exposed if there is shared breathing space with someone with infectious pulmonary or laryngeal tuberculosis at a time when the infectious person is not wearing a mask and the other person is not wearing an N95 respirator. IMO, this should be put at the top of the page today! This is very, very serious, and dangerous. And as the author notes, "the USA no longer has any “herd immunity” to TB." Everyone is at risk, the military as well. Letting these hoards of unvaccinated, diseased children and others into our country, and spreading them around is tantamount to warfare against the American people.

This invasion has been planned for some time and the necessary supplies may have been slowly stockpiled in the ´camps´ we´ve heard about. This would avoid sudden large purchases of TB drugs/masks, etc.

Old people remember that in the 1950s there were parked buses set up with X-rays or something to screen for TB. The ones I saw were in south Texas. I think the tests were free, part of a public health initiative. We can ´look forward´ to that again.

From the very last line of the article:
"...the only thing you can say for certain about the coming TB epidemic is that it is inevitable."

The only question that remains is "are you scared yet"? And if you are not, then you sure as heck ought to be.

For all Obama´s gay talk his actions are anti-gay!
HIV destroys the immune system.
TB loves a person with a weakened immune system!
There is a form of TB that is all-drug resistant.
Gays with HIV/AIDS will be getting it in great numbers.

Other examples:
20% of Americans still smoke.
33% of gays smoke!
ObamaCare covers all sorts of birth control and abortifactants, except the one type which would protect from HIV....condoms.

This is so frightening and sad. Im in my late 40s and I remember as a child reading about the effects TB had on people but the story reassured the reader that "today, tuberculosis is practically unheard of because medicine has done so much to make people healthy." And now I have to worry that my child may end up with it. The wife of my husband´s cousin came down with it several years ago and it was shocking to all of us that TB would actually show up at all in a populace that was vaccinated. Hmmmm - I wonder how that happened?!

Funny you should say that, #5. Bought some N95 masks just after the first of this month. Went to my favorite go-to for emergency supplies, beprepared.com, to remind myself of the cost: N95 masks are on sale at half the retail price--i.e., $15 for a box of 20. Unfortunately, there was also this notice:

TEMPORARILY BACKORDERED, WILL SHIP WHEN AVAILABLE.

a box of another brand, also 20 for $15 is still available, as is a box of 10 (valved type) for $12.95.

Could be available for less elsewhere, just wanted to give folks an idea of the cost.

Since the appearance of ISIS, the usual suspects on the left -- those in politics and media in particular -- have bent over backwards to argue that it has nothing to do Obama, that his silly foreign policy, undergrad strategic considerations, and infinitely collapsible notion of American responsibilities unfolded in a vacuum and could not possibly have had any effect on anything. No, the fault, of course, is that of George W. Bush and his neocon camarilla. Nations are much like living organisms. One fundamental function of life is to tell the difference between friends and foes. When a nation fails to do that it will soon die. For more than two centuries the United States has known how to tell friend from foe, because we’ve had a robust sense of identity -- we understood how “a nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal” would be tested over and over again, by enemies foreign and domestic, to see “whether any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure.” The West

One is that these terrorists are more depraved and less savvy than we think. They so glory in blood that they could not resist making an international spectacle of their savagery — after all, they proudly broadcast their massacre of Shiite prisoners — and did not quite fathom how such a
