Poll: Americans Want Sarah
Palin to Shut Up the Most

Mediaite, by Tina Daunt

Original Article

A poll conducted by the Wall Street Journal, NBC News, and Annenberg finally gave a numerical answer to a question we at Mediaite often ask ourselves: Out of all political figures that should pipe down just a bit, which one should do it immediately? Answer: Sarah Palin. Overwhelmingly Sarah Palin, says America. 52% of surveyed American adults want Sarah Palin to “be quiet,” according to the poll taken between June 30 and July 7 (Snip) 45% of respondents added that they wanted Jesse Jackson to be quiet, too; followed by Dick Cheney (42%), Newt Gingrich (39%), Al Gore (37%), and

She would be the last on my list to shut up. She is the only political type in the whole cesspool I trust.
Far nearer the top would be McCain and Boehner.

I doubt this is true. The only person I have heard anyone comment about not want to hears or see and wish he´d shut up is Obama

"you didn´t build that", "as a matter of fact", I didn´t know about that until I read it in the paper". "You can keep your doctor",for the first time folks will have coverage", "we leave no one behind" (we have a Marine in Mexico in prison), etc. Many want him to go away and shut up and never be heard of again. Ever!

The poll conducted at our last neighborhood BBQ/pool party contradicts that one with scientific certainty, margin of error nil. It was a three way tie between Barack, Michelle, and John Boehner. Surprisingly, the person people wanted most to keep talking was Hillary.

I think the people who conducted the poll were trying to "shape" what people think/want so as to offset Obama´s dismal approval numbers. This is not a poll that I would take seriously, especially since NBC and Annenberg are part of it. Just remember, Obama´s best friend, Bill Ayers, and Obama were part of the Annenberg Challenge.

My observations:
1. Palin has said nothing offensive or outrageous. not stupidities such as Biden and Reid. Why should she not speak out since we supposedly have freedome of speech?

2. A segment of the population is afraid of what she says.

3. She is effective. If she were not effective, they would not care about her speaking out.

I actually think most people in America today want to exist in a state of denial. They know something bad is happening to their country, but prefer to focus on anything but the truth.
Sarah Palin speaks the truth very clearly, Dick Cheney speaks the truth very clearly, and Ted Cruz speaks the truth very clearly. People don´t want to hear it, they will do anything to avoid the truth so they can enjoy their mundane lives.

With one month until Election Day, Republicans´ chances for retaking the Senate and picking up seats in the House are improving. The GOP has been buoyed by positive public polling, while red-state Democrats are still struggling to find distance from President Obama. There are bright spots and even some unexpected new targets on the map for both parties, but the overall national environment seems to have ticked a bit toward Republicans. The GOP needs to win a net of six seats to retake control of the Senate, and Republicans seem better-positioned to do so now than they did through much of
