‘I’m So Tired of Your Mocking’:
O’Reilly, Powers Battle over
Immigration

Mediaite, by Josh Feldman

Kirsten Powers snapped at Bill O’Reilly tonight after he told her she doesn’t know what she’s talking about on immigration, and told O’Reilly she’s tired of him mocking liberals every day on every single issue just because “they care about people.” Powers argued that O’Reilly’s getting his facts wrong and that immigrants coming to the U.S. back in the day (like the Irish) were poor and uneducated, much like the immigrants O’Reilly is so worried about today. O’Reilly dismissed Powers and told her, “You don’t seem to really know what you’re talking about.” That really set Powers off. “I am

Comments:
For once O´Reilly is right. Powers lost any shred of credibility she may have had because her opinion is that we should have open borders and take children from all over the world. It´s extremely difficult to comprehend that insane point of view. Leftists like her never bother to explain how detrimental this is to the American people and it will collapse our economy.

Democrats DO NOT Care about people. The care about lining their pockets and raw political power. Lucianne has a headline right now "Nagin gets 10 Years." Wonder how many people he ripped off with a "D" after his name.

Let´s think about this. We educate the entire world´s children about liberty, republic, small government, then send them home to implement what they learned???? I dunno this has possibilities.

Anyone who´d thought ditz Powers had mellowed was smoking something funny. She is Dem Lib to the core and not the brightest bulb. (Anthony Weiner dumped HER when they were likethis. And she mourned it. Oy.)

She is showing her true colors (maybe Someone got to her?) and is very snappish these days.

Hoping Bret Baier cuts back her gigs on his program. We don´t need a blonde, white, nasty female Juan.

America does have a problem with income inequality; where the top 1% possess 40% of America´s wealth. And Democrats love to get votes claiming they will reduce income inequality. But inequality continues to climb. Democrats and most Republicans have never done anything to help the situation since they are part of the 1% and the 1% are the major contributers to political campaigns. The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats will lie about it to get your vote.
Yeah, they claim to care as long as someone else does the heaving lifting, just as Kristen does as she makes her rounds.
If Kristen really cared, she could afford to take a few of them under her benevolent wing, but she will claim she can´t afford it... the same reason America can´t support them, it can´t afford it.

O´Reilly really got to her. Pulling that tired dem tactic of quoting Emma Lazarus, she failed to acknowledge that the Statue of Liberty sits next to Ellis Island - at one time, the first stop for LEGAL immigrants from around the world - or that there was no welfare at the time to drain the pockets of those hard-working Americans already here. She may be pro-life, but her true, weiner-dating colors came through last night.

Sounds like she´s been talked to by her cohorts on the left to stop leaning to the right on Obama´s scandals. She´s been agreeing with the right on many issues lately. Perhaps, this was her hitting the reset button with the left.

My Dad immigrated in 1921 at age 17. . he joined his mother´s brother in Atlantic city and learn the trade of bricklaying. In five years he worked for himself building
chimneys in NYC buildings. A move was underway to convert cold water flat and furnaces need chimneys. He soon met my mother and by 1927 he built them a 2 family house in the Bronx, the house I was born in in 1929. My grandparents lived on the 1st floor, we lived above. 85 years later the house still
stands.YES HE DID IT BY HIMSELF. NO WELFARE. Learned to speak English, became a citizen, unfortunately it took him until WWII to understand capitalism and Reuplicanism was the better way.

Powers had lost credibility long before this exchange. NO Ms. Powers, we DO NOT want to let all these diseased and poor children into our country. And, yes, MS Powers, they ALL want all the benefits they can get. Our schools are crowded with these poorly behaved children; they want everything. They get FREE food, FREE housing, FREE medical care, FREE education, and FREE money. What is wrong with this woman? Why isn´t Ms. Powers and all the rest of the bleeding heart liberals more concerned that our veterans are being left to die, when they truly deserve their benefits.

They don´t seem to care who takes them; just take them. They can end up in abusive families and being used as modern day slaves. How about adopting 5 for yourself, Kristen. Comparing LEGAL immigrants who came through Ellis Island with skills, papers, money and addresses where they would be living as my grandparents and great grandparents did AFTER passing a health test to the disease ridden criminal hordes invading our Southern border is not only false it is ludicrous.
I can get my great grandparents Ellis records today - why are Feds Prohibited from asking the " parents" of these children their legal status?

The attacks on Kirsten Powers are unfounded. Bill O´Reilly appears to not want her on "his" program, and talks over her and attacks everything she says. Fox does not need to be like MSNBC,and to an extent, ABC, NBC and CBS by having an absolute echo chamber.

O´Reilly cannot stop talking long enough to understand where Powers is coming from. I have never heard her say she supports open borders. She did say we need to take care of the children that have entered our country. That is humane. She has not said they should be allowed to stay, as far as I have heard.

You can listen to the other side and consider what they are saying without having to change your mind. Some of these comments are merely reverse of what the progressives do in their quest to silence opposing opinions.

WASHINGTON — The Senate’s minority whip is confident about Republicans being the majority in the 114th Congress — if conservatives can set aside differences and work to combat the massive influx of donor cash that has Democratic campaigns ahead in the money race. Only in the majority, Sen. And only by realizing the gravity of the battle for November, he argues, can Republicans relegate Harry Reid (D-Nev.)

The L.A. Times is warning that the “worst is yet to come” if a grand jury fails to indict white officer Darren Wilson for shooting and killing black 18-year-old Michael Brown. If the grand jury fails to indict the officer who killed Michael Brown, almost everyone here thinks things will get worse. “They’re not going to be looting next time,” said Kevin Seltzer, 30, who lives at an apartment complex near where Brown, 18, was shot. “They’re going to burn the city down.” The article highlights recent indications that the city is “far from finding peace,” including continued clashes with officers, the shooting

The Secret Service was unaware for four days that a man had fired a high-powered rifle at the White House in 2011 in a ´fumbled´ response that left the Obamas furious, says a new report. Officers allegedly performed a string of security lapses after Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez shot at least seven bullets at the executive mansion in Washington from his car. At the time, President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and their older daughter Malia were not at home, but their younger daughter Sasha and Mrs Obama´s mother, Marian Robinson, were inside. The Justice Department is expected to ban profiling by federal law enforcement. Counter-terror investigators would be barred from undercover operations in mosques or other religious institutions unless there is reason to believe criminal activity is going on there, under a new policy expected within weeks. The new rules would ban profiling based on religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation and includes no exemption for national security investigations, the Los Angeles Times reports. The announcement of the new policy to crack down on law enforcement profiling was delayed for several months because of White House

President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot “feel” it. During an interview with 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft, Obama said, “the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.” “When I came into office, our economy was in crisis,” Obama said. The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administration’s success. “I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis,” Obama said. WASHINGTON — The Senate’s minority whip is confident about Republicans being the majority in the 114th Congress — if conservatives can set aside differences and work to combat the massive influx of donor cash that has Democratic campaigns ahead in the money race. Only in the majority, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) stresses, can conservatives make headway on tamping down overregulation, repealing and replacing Obamacare, securing the “chaotic” border, getting Keystone XL moving, and bringing civilized debate back to the upper chamber.
