Progressive Bloggers Are Doing
the White House´s Job

National Journal, by James Oliphant

When Jay Carney was grilled at length by Jonathan Karl of ABC News over an email outlining administration talking points in the wake of the 2012 Benghazi attack, it was not, by the reckoning of many observers, the White House press secretary´s finest hour. Carney was alternately defensive and dismissive, arguably fueling a bonfire he was trying to tamp down. But Carney needn´t have worried. He had plenty of backup. He had The New Republic´s Brian Beutler dismissing Benghazi as "nonsense." He had Slate´s David Weigel, along with The Washington Post´s Plum Line blog, debunking any claim that the new email was

Progressive blogs? Heck they´ve got the whole Pravda on the Potomac (or, if you prefer, Washington Post) carrying their water and furiously putting lipstick on every pig that comes squealing out of the White House.

The author would like to differentiate between the mainstream media and the progressive media;I´d say they meld into one one another all the time. I find the National Journal always promotes Obamaism, but it´s just my opinion.

There is an orchestrated attempt by the media to re-brand themselves as progressives, rather than liberals. This is exactly what they did when global warming gradually became climate change.
There´s a reason they are doing this. Their internal polling must indicate the word liberal has taken on an even more negative connotation with the American public.
Republicans & conservatives should NEVER let them get away with this!

This is the way of things now and don´t expect it to ever change. Progressives always need a bogeyman to rail against. They offer nothing constructive. They are hard wired to destroy. It is who they are. They do not want a reasoned debate. They want a full on hard-knuckled brawl and they fight dirty. It has always been this way but when Obama came on the scene he gave them permission to be as combative and strident as they need to be. They intend to push out anyone who does not agree with this tactic because they see it is terribly effective. Comity is a thing of the past. These young bloods need the verbal warfare. It feeds their bloodlust. Andrew Breitbart knew how to defeat them. You must be willing to stand toe to toe and duke it out. It is a battle to the death and one he was willing to engage in enthusiastically. No one fills his shoes. Until we understand that this is an enemy as formidable as any our military has faced, we will lose. We need warriors who will fight the good fight. Progressives know words are power and they wield them with precision. It is time to fight fire with fire.

Wow, so progressive bloggers are also doing the exact same thing as the MSM? What a surprise. I shall buy more Depends stocks because this news will surely be "broken" (in three months) by Charles Krauthammer which will cause the GOP to fill extra boxes of their courage undies when they read their Weekly Standards. And Houston thinks it has a problem with a phantom defecator. Wait till the GOP hears about this seven year old story. They´ll have to change their Depends faster than Harry Reid can whisper, "BOO!"

The leftist bloggers on other forums seem to keep banker´s hours, always support Obama no matter what, are probably employed by one of the Soros orgs.
They attack, defame conservative posters, even if they just posted an article written by someone else-lots of immature name calling. Objectively, if they resort to name calling, one on one, it´s because they lost the argument. Drama queen, weinie, idiot, moron, GOP, etc are common labels and ST_U is used quite a bit.

Why we do let them get away with calling themselves "progressive" when all they want to do is take society backward? Somehow, trying to force everyone into the same socialist utopia Mao and Lenin helped create is allowed to be called "forward thinking" today. As long as they can get away with owning the language ("helping people" and "fairness" being the worst offenders) they have no chance of being defeated.

No... these aren´t just progressive bloggers, the replies on any subject come directly from the WH. They issue talking points on any subject they deem important or harmful, and that propaganda appears on all influential blogs.

You can tell it is produced from one source, because all comments are basically the same under different names and monikers, even on the same subject on the same blogs.

Oh the progressives. Brian Beutler surely know his is lying. Same for David Weigel and a whole host of progressive bloggers.

The progressives are the successors of the Communist Party that has been at work in the USA at least since the time of FDR. Many of them worked in his administration.

So why be surprised by the progressives´ propaganda. They have a plan, and that is to silence all opposition and control the people. It appears their plan is finally coming to fruition.

FTA: ~~It´s been a familiar pattern since President Obama took office in 2009: When critics attack, the White House can count on a posse of progressive writers to ride to its rescue. Pick an issue, from the Affordable Care Act to Ukraine to the economy to controversies involving the Internal Revenue Service and Benghazi, and you´ll find the same voices again and again, on the Web and on Twitter, giving the president cover while savaging the opposition.~~
