´The debate over repealing this law is over´: Obama
boasts 7.1 MILLION have signed up to Obamacare
but study shows just 858,000 newly insured*

Daily Mail (UK), by DAVID MARTOSKO

Original Article

Posted By:FlyRight, 4/5/2014 7:49:46 AM

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

Comments:
* Americans have paid up!

Looking at the flip-side of this, that would mean the program has 6.42 million certified deadbeats! Nice job Stinky!

is in the papers but takes some calculating....
Insurance cancelled for 6 million, 7.1 million new sign ups minus the 6 million cancelled minus those who have not paid would probably equal 858,000.

Numbers shmumbers, money shmunnyy. The only thing that matters is how much Dear Leader Barack Hussein and the Democrats care. Let us never forget how much they care about the poor and the uninsured.

Let me see if I can figure out his reasoning... Millions of working Americans have had their insurance cancelled or their rates increased and they can´t keep their doctor as the Liar in Chief promised.

His figures can´t be verified as usual, and since he lies uncontrollably, when as they say his lips are moving, his numbers are false and misleading. The Administration has been lying about this since day one.

Since Democrats can´t do anything with being partisan, they also send you voting registration forms with the Democrat box checked. Nice touch.

In summary, they have taken the worlds best medical and healthcare system and destroyed it so they could force 858,000 newly insured Americans and who knows whatever nationality to get lousy socialized medical care. Of course those figures don´t mention the millions who have had their private plans cancelled, lost their doctors and now will have third world care at a higher price.

What next, Bushmen waving grass bundles over your head to rid you of demons.

So, we have 858,000 who have paid out of 7,100,000 gives you a 12.1% rate of payment.

If you work in the collections department of a big company and your delinquency rate is 87.9%, you get fired.

Too bad we can´t dump the whole lot of the Democrats and their stupid President! They certainly deserve it.

Who says it´s over? Doesn´t have to be. I´m willing to bet less than half a million have signed up. And of those few, are any actually able to get services? I doubt it. What amazes me, tho, is the fact that the media is not covering any of the nuts and bolts problems faced by ordinary citizens now without health care. Don´t know why the MSM continues to amaze me with their bias, but they do. And for the record, # 1, the only place to really find out whats going on in the US is in the British or Canadian news reports. American media won´t cover any of the scary stuff going on here, and there is plenty scary stuff.

The Democrats have already made $1,000,000,000 in nonworking websites. They have made another $1,000,000,000 in unsuccessful advertising. How much more will they be able to make in kickbacks, unionized jobs and crony capitalist contracts? When you are talking about 1/6 of the economy, the possibilities are endless.

That´s all that matters. Move along. Nothing to see here.

It should be clear by now that you can´t believe anything that the Obama crew puts out as they are always attempting to cover themselves politically.

Have the Republicans ever managed to repeal any of the big liberal Democrat social programs in the past? The Republicans may talk a good game to the ignorant in that respect, but once it is made clear to them that their business constituents are somehow making a buck off those liberal Democrat social programs, the Republicans fade into the background until the liberal Democrats come up with their next big program. Then the Republicans again pop up and complain for awhile before giving up and again going away. Until the Republicans change their old defensive style of politics the situation will only get worse for the country.

Well, considering that is the demographic they spent the last few months trying to appeal to, why should anyone be surprised?

I am still appalled at the way this administration has used our money to push this! We could have given insurance to all those that needed it for years... IF that was the objective!! But we all know that wasn´t it, don´t we.

´In the end,´ he warned the GOP, ´history is not kind to those who would deny Americans their basic economic security. ... That´s what the Affordable Care Act represents.´

Who is denying Americans "basic economic security"? It is Obama & Co. who have ruined this economy and saw to it that MILLIONS have lost their jobs and their health care plans. Doctors are leaving their practices in record numbers because they cannot make ends meet and still comply with this horrible Affordable Care Act, a misnomer if ever there was one.

To blame the GOP for unrealized hardships and realized ones, is truly delusional, as some are getting up enough courage to now say in public.

Obama and his Party are solely responsible for the economic chaos and hardships Americans face. No Republican has a fingerprint on any of this except on bills to repeal it in full or in large part.

OPEN LETTER TO GOP: If you do not take advantage of the economic and health hazards of this bill NOW, before the elections, you deserve minority status and we voters will see to it that you get it. Wake up, GOP. There are opportunities here and none include continuing your tepid silence about this.

There are 2 concepts in this article: churn from canceling policies and the difference between selecting a policy and actually making payments.

Most of the 7 million were previously insured, shifting from canceled policies to ObamaCare compliant policies. These folks are used to a monthly insurance payment and more than 80% have begun payments.

The much smaller part of the enrollment are those who were previously uninsured. These were the folks ObamaCare was created to serve. They are not used to paying a monthly insurance premium and many have not even made their first payment.

If you ignore the churn, only 875,000 uninsured have signed up and paid.

Assume for a moment that most of those 7.1 million have signed up for Obozocare. What is going to be their reaction when they find out that they can no longer see their doctor? Or that a doctor they wanted to see no longer accepts the insurance they have bought into? Or the local hospital won´t accept said insurance? And make no mistake, that sort of thing is happening RIGHT NOW across the country. And it´s going to get worse. And add in the shear number of healthcare professionals that are going to simply get out of the business because they can not survive on the payments Obozocare provides. The dims can crow all they want too, but this mess is going to eventually crash upon itself. The entire system was EXTREMELY poorly designed and even worse enacted.

And this fall, the rest of us (with employer sponsored insurance are going to see the brown-stuff-left-by-the-dog-in-the-yard-hit-the-electric-oscillating-cooling-device).

My wife´s employer, a school district, starts their insurance year in September so sign up will be in the next month or so.

Our health insurance rose over $200 a month in 2013-2014 and deductibles increased.

The school district is telling employees they won´t even have the insurance rates for 2014-2015 until sometime in June (and this is a statewide plan that affects many other districts). People will have to sign up for plans without the rate being known (I´m guessing they will allow you to opt out again at that time).

I ain´t the smartest boy in the class, but that sure tells me that there´s another big increase in the offing.

If the 18th Amendment to the Constitution (Prohibition) can be Repealed by the 21st Amendment, then a simple law can be repealed. It is much harder to repeal an Amendment to the Constitution than to change a law, especially since new laws can be passed to offset the offensive law. I think Barry and a lot of his Demonrat friends weren´t paying attention in American Civics class.

Republicans and conservatives and TEA Party members must adopt Winston Churchill´s famous speech he gave to the Harrow School students in October 1941:
"The pessimist sees the problems in every opportunity. Whereas the optimist sees the opportunity in every problem"

"Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense"

FIrst the 7.1MM figure contains all the duplicates and false-start but never completed when the website failed applications. Second a huge proportion of the sign-ups did not qualify and were forced into Medicaid. Of those "enrolled" more than half were only there because Zippycare had resulted in their perfectly good policies which they liked being cancelled. Finally it doesn´t matter whether you successfully register on-line, complete an application and receive a "confirmation". Until that first payment is made/received,you are NOT insured. 865,00 is probably optimistic.

One item missing from the MSM news consists of interviews with uninsured people who explain why they aren´t signing up.

With 50 million such people ~ maybe more now that ObamaKKKare has destroyed insurance for so many more ~ it shouldn´t be difficult at all to find someone in that 1/6 of the population who refuses to sign up to this supposedly freely offered insurance program.

Couple of suspicions ~

(1) America has only 260 million people, not 320 ~ we´ve been faking it for years to scare our enemies.

(2) America has no uninsured people ~ we´ve been faking that too!

In any case, we need to repeal the entire bill and a number of other federal medical care/hospital construction bills as well.

The problem is that through limiting the scope of ´networks´ of affiliated doctors, HMOs, insurers, and hospital systems, all opportunities for reducing the costs of care have been lost ~

The federal government adds no value whatsoever to medical care as a result of the application of its internal inefficiencies to the operation of local institutions.

Obama has plans to keep a residual force there for a period of time in order to maintain stability and contain the Taliban, both in Afghanistan and across the border in lawless regions of Pakistan, where jihadis are active. But President Hamid Karzai has refused to sign a deal, and now the election to replace him is

The U.S. deported Honduran children as young as 1-1/2 years old on Monday in the first flight since President Obama pledged to speed up the process of sending back illegal immigrant minors from Central America. Fleeing violence and poverty, record numbers of children from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala have crossed into the United States over the past year, sparking intense debate about how to solve the problem. Monday´s flight from New Mexico to San Pedro Sula, the city with the highest murder rate in the world, returned 17 Honduran women, as well as 12 girls and nine boys, aged

The Obama administration quietly announced on Tuesday that it intends to change the way Americans learn about natural disasters and other major emergencies during radio and TV broadcasts, giving the president the ability to flip a switch and address the entire nation at once. The Emergency Alert System, the latest version of a program first established in 1951, blasts out emergency messages in the event of local weather emergencies, but can also be used to warn Americans about terror attacks and major natural disasters. In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide. Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. John McCain, an immigration hawk. Who knew? Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin

Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
