Sailors leaving Navy over stress on
social issues, Top Gun instructor says

Washington Times, by Rowan Scarborough

Original Article

A Navy F-18 fighter pilot and former Top Gun instructor is publicly warning admirals that retention is beginning to suffer from the military’s relentless social conditioning programs. Cmdr. Guy Snodgrass, until recently a Pentagon speech writer for the chief of naval operations, Adm. Jonathan Greenert, said sailors are becoming fed-up with the constant emphasis on social issues — an apparent reference to gays in the military, women in combat and ending sexual harassment. “Sailors continue to cite the over-focus on social issues by senior leadership, above and beyond discussions on war fighting — a fact that demoralizes junior and mid-grade officers alike,”

Our sailor-boy has only one complaint; same as when he began 5 yrs ago. Why does anyone join the Navy, gets training to do a job, then bellyache or shirk nonstop making it rotten for anyone around them trying to do their own job well? The rest is lint. Brush it off and get the job done.

I´ve read dozens of articles in the last several years about the issues this Cmdr. brings up. It wasn´t hard to figure out that there were serious problems coming up with retention and morale with the troops. Especially as relates to the commander in chief. No respect from the top will result in no respect from the bottom. If you didn´t see this coming you were just not paying attention.

The gay/perverse and girly friendly US Military is anathema to all that I hold Holy. When standards cannot be met, you DO NOT lower those standards. Hopefully when the adults regain control of the Federal Government "things" will be set right and a lot of the wrongs will be indited and incarcerated....

The Communists took full advantage of having their boy in office. They knew to destroy this country, they had to do three things:

1) Destroy the economy. Six years of Øvomitnomics has made this mission accomplished.

2) Destroy our military. From this article (and many like it), mission accomplished.

3) Destroy our health care system. Just waiting on the Supreme Court to see if this mission is accomplished.

God, I cry for my children and grandchildren!!!

The politicizing of the military will lead to the point where no one but government zealots will remain, as in Stalin´s Red Army. They´re already being trained & indoctrinated in attacking US citizens. Once the generals have knuckled under to the leftists, restoring freedom will become a very iffy [proposition. The country should split before that happens.

Transexuals in the military is going to be the straw on the camels back that causes problems. Whatever it takes to demilitarize this country is the name of the game. Fundamental transformation of the military is one aspect of the total operation. I am sure now in addition to SEAR tactical training they get week long courses in Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram etiquette and protocol.

Note those in the services have always dealt with a high degree of stress - it is the nature of the service.

Yet the added stress of today is NOT due to war. Indeed many are happy to reenlist as they see the value of service.

Instead it is the role of the social scientists who are changing the very nature of their service in ways they did not sign up for.

The other day I was re-reading about the Marines and others who fought in the final assault of the Japanese upon Corregidor in ´42, when everything larger than a machinegun had been smashed by the relentless and endless weeks long shelling that preceded it.

I read how the survivors got three days of starvation preceding the pitiless thuggery of the Death March and the casual bayoneting and other forms of low brutality dished out so gleefully by the enemy.

I am reminded that many of those survivors went on after the war to live good and productive lives.

So are such men of high courage and morale fiber to be commonly found in a military fully reflecting Democrat Party values? Or will a military fully reflecting Democrat Party values be more like the hapless losers slaughtered like so many sheep by the Wehrmacht in the first years of the Russian offensive because Party loyalty was deemed far more important than courage and morale?

If the Palestinians are merely engaged in a nationalist struggle for self-determination, then why are they inciting genocide of Jewry? Is the wealth of America based on theft? This allegation lies at the heart of modern progressivism, and provides the justification for government seizure and government redistribution, not only within America but also from America to the rest of the world. In my film “2016” I showed how Obama’s anti-colonialism presumes that the West grew rich by conquering other countries and stealing their resources. This theft critique has now been incorporated and expanded into a systematic, progressive critique of America. According to this critique, America was founded in an original act of piracy: the early settlers stole the country from the

Sarah Palin was regarded by some as the “queen of the tea party.” Conservatives immediately rallied around her in 2008, when John McCain tapped her to be the vice presidential nominee. She remained popular, but her role with the tea party exploded after the First Tea Party Convention in Nashville in 2010. In 2010, Palin held court and made appearances and endorsements. Those endorsements turned out to be very valuable to candidates in 2010. In 2012, she lost a bit of her
