First lady: Gay football
player is ‘inspiration’

ASHINGTON — Michelle Obama says a gay University of Missouri football player is “an inspiration to all of us.” The first lady took to Twitter on Monday to comment on Michael Sam, the all-American college player who announced Sunday that he is gay. Mrs. Obama says she “couldn’t be prouder” of Sam’s courage, both on and off the field. The tweet was signed “-mo,” which is how the White House marks messages personally sent by the first lady. Sam could become the first openly homosexual player in the NFL. He’s scheduled to participate in the league’s weeklong scouting camp, where potential draftees

She and her perverse husband sure have an odd view of what is inspirational. That is sure something that will inspire everyone! s/o With qualities like this no wonder 0bama is screwing up this country so badly.

Why is a man having sex with another man inspirational? Is it some kind of fantastic achievement? If so there are prisons loaded with ´inspirational´ men. Is it a historical accomplishment? If so, then there wouldn´t be a human race. Does she really think it’s every young man’s dream to grow up to be homosexual? Is homosexuality something young men should strive to achieve? Is it really that great a deal to have sex with other men? Next she will tell us smoking dope in a VW microbus is inspirational as well.

Shouldn´t he be tested for AIDS?
What, exactly, will the rules state on his game-time bleeding?
Maybe Sports Illustrated could spend some ink on these subjects instead of how wonderful this is...

Mrs Obama herself is anything but inspirational. I prefer she keeps ALL of her opinions to herself; however, she loves the life of a celebrity and the MSM tout her every position, whether perverse or not, as spoken from the Mount. The kids in the cafeterias showed her their opinion by throwing their new diet( food ) into the trash bins. One point
for our side. ( My opinions ).

Would the first openly pedophilic player be an inspiration? The first openly racist? The first openly lacto-vegan? What, exactly, is she celebrating? So this is the "change" the Obamas were promising during the 2008 campaign - the promotion of sodomy as "inspiring." The Obamas seem to want their legacy to be that they did the most to promote sodomy. Amazing!

At the next Obama press conference, I wish some enterprising reporter would have the courage to ask Obama if he (Obama) is hoping his daughters (Malia and Shasha ???) are lesbians, since being "gay" is so inspiring. I don´t think that question would be out-of-bounds as intrusive on the family, since the Obamas keep telling us that being "gay" is inspiring.

A fascinating article by Francis Wilkinson appeared in Bloomberg View last week (h/t Instapundit). Wilkinson detailed the fact that income inequality between whites and blacks is worse in leftist cities: Minneapolis-St. Paul. San Francisco. Chicago. Even Madison, Wisconsin. If you are politically liberal and value relatively high levels of income equality, you might live in one of these quintessentially liberal U.S. cities. Yet all four lurk in the bottom half of the 2014 National Urban League’s State of Black America report on income inequality between blacks and whites. As horrible as Kathleen Sebelius has been as this nation´s health and human services secretary, she has been exactly who President Barack Obama wanted her to be. This was no rogue incompetent tinkering with America´s health care. This was one of Obama´s chief lieutenants, one who was doing his bidding every step of that treacherous road they traveled together. Don´t get me wrong; Sebelius was inexcusably bad — arrogant, defiant, uncompassionate, dogmatic and unrepentant. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of
