Kelly Ayotte: We Can´t Trust Obama,

Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) says she agrees that Republicans can´t trust President Obama to enforce the law, but they should immediately move forward on comprehensive immigration reform, anyway. (Video) “Here’s the deal: The status quo is totally unacceptable,” Ayotte said on CBS News’ Face The Nation with Bob Schieffer on Sunday. Ayotte, who rode the Tea Party wave in 2010 to her election to the Senate but has emerged as one of the upper chamber´s more liberal Republicans, conceded there is a "trust deficit" with Obama. "There’s a trust deficit that the Speaker is facing right now and it’s related

Kelly Ayotte is a big disappointment because she chose to become a shadow for John McCain and Linsey Graham upon election in 2010. I doubt she is a favorite of the Taxed Enough Already Party anymore.

You have to be a pretty stupid Republican politician, or a Democrat in disguise, not to be able to figure out that Obama is out to destroy the long term political viability of the Republican Party by eventually infusing tens of millions of new mostly poor and generally uneducated foreign born voters into the American electoral process in the years ahead. In the past such legalized aliens have become Democrat voters in percentages up to about 85%. All you have to do is have a basic knowledge of basic arithmetic to figure that out.

What I don´t understand is the problem that it is always either status quo meaning everyone is welcome legally or illegally or amnesty. That is not a difference except in the minds of those who make those foolish statement. I don´t want the status quo and I don´t want amnesty. Let´s find a way to give those who are here illegally ´legal status.´ I don´t think they should ever be able to vote unless they go back to where they came from, follow the rules for entry into the U.S. and do it the legal way. We need to control our borders first, last and always.

I´m going broke buying dictionaries and sending them to editors so that they can look for the definition of amnesty.
Requiring people to pay a $1,000 fine is not an amnesty.
The Senate proposal is ludicrous and greater enforcement is required; but that doesn´t justify bowdlerizing the English language.

She should enjoy her one term----will encourage NH to secure a replacement for her.

(Video) Laura Ingraham asked a brilliant question this morning, in response to a discussion about Kathleen Sebelius’s resignation. The radio host and sometimes O’Reilly Factor fill-in was on This Week With George Stephanopoulos this morning and got right to the point: What does it take to get fired in the Obama administration? Let’s ask a very simple question, if this were an NCAA coach, if this were a corporate CEO, and we had a product roll-out as bungled and as disastrous as this, it wouldn’t be five months later that she was fired. The answer is obvious. It’s incredibly hard to

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — In January, residents here learned the news that the senior place-kicker for the University of Michigan’s football team had been permanently “separated” from the college for violating its student sexual misconduct policy. In addition, the violation, what the authorities said was a sexual assault, occurred in 2009, when the kicker was a freshman, and his punishment was not determined until his athletic career had ended this past winter. In the wake of Kathleen Sebelius’s ouster from her job as secretary of Health and Human Services, there has emerged a debate about what the Los Angeles Times calls “Obamacare and the Sebelius legacy.” From a moral perspective, though, that is like debating whether Chairman Mao’s provision of free health care should overshadow the horrors of the Cultural Revolution. To be fair, the body count Sebelius left behind in Kansas does not nearly match that of Mao, but the body count is real. AUGUSTA, Ga.— Bubba Watson has won the Masters for the second time in three years. Watson claimed another green jacket by shooting a 3-under 69 in the final round Sunday, fending off Jordan Spieth’s bid to become the youngest major champion since 1931. The 20-year-old Texan led by two shots heading to the eighth hole, but the tournament changed suddenly. Watson made two straight birdies, Spieth took back-to-back bogeys — and just like that, Watson was up by two strokes at the turn. The left-hander led the rest of the way, adding to the 2012 title he won in more

It only feels like it´s speeding up. Constrained by crises over which he has little power to impact events, hemmed in by a divided Congress more interested in scoring points with voters than in legislating, and watching as his potential successor assumes more and more of the political spotlight, Obama may be receding into history more quickly than either he or his aides ever anticipated.
