Number of Obamacare
sign-ups is greatly inflated

Washington Examiner [DC], by Byron York

Democrats from President Obama on down have been touting Obamacare´s sign-up numbers. Even after the system´s disastrous rollout, they like to point out, roughly three million people have signed up for private insurance, while 6.3 million have signed up for Medicaid. "Already, because of the Affordable Care Act, more than nine million Americans have signed up for private health insurance or Medicaid coverage," Obama said in the State of the Union speech. "Nine million." (Snip) But there is strong new evidence to suggest the administration's claims are grossly exaggerated and deeply misleading. Obamacare is not doing nearly as well as the

Comments:
Last week, during 0bama´s whining about the unfairness of Fox Super Bowl interview, he claimed that 6M adults had signed up, which included 3M more where their dependents. That´s the 9M they claim have signed up. Of course we know that health insurers have no real idea, either, or they aren´t telling...yet. If a CEO of a real company, he´d be indited and arrested for all the lies leading up to and the implementation of 0bamaCare.

He lied. They´re still lying. And apparently there isn´t a single media source in the US that is curious enough or resourceful enough to investigate and discover what the real numbers are. It used to be that exhaustive newspaper investigative reporting such as this won a Pulitzer Prize. Looks like nobody´s interested in getting one on this subject. Perhaps they´re getting the Obama Prize for Investigative Somnolence.

Inductive reasoning: if they really had a significant number of legitimate enrollees, they would be shouting it from the rooftops with mug shots and fingerprints offered up as proof. But they don´t of course.

"There will come a time when the vast American public gets tired of lies."
Unfortunately the vast American public are made up of liars, not to mention extremely low information knuckleheads. Experiment suggestion: Watch the difficulty typical pedestrians have crossing a street corner that has a street light; they can´t figure out how to do it! Most will cross the opposite way in which one should cross (you remember the proper way…very simple… "cross with the light").

The Democrats are counting on repeated lies to be believed by the lofo´s and on people giving up and accepting this for what is - a terrible and expensive destruction of the healthcare industry. It will be up to us to keep the pressure on. If the politicians smell capitulation they will quit talking about it and move on.

Thanks Byron, but when this crashes down, you will be the cause more than the ignorant liberals, because you knew better the whole time. I am talking about Obama as a whole and not just Obamacare.

I just finished Diana West´s book "American Betrayal," 2013, St. Martin´s Press, and I will forever now understand what is going on. The American people have been lied to for far longer than Obama, in fact it goes back to 1933, when our government was saturated with Communists. Yes I said it. Joseph McCarthy was a patriot, and right. So was Rep. Martin Dies before him. Lies are just part of our American fabric now, and we have been conditioned over the last 80 years to accept them. Read the book, it will change your life.

From an old Pravda article:

"In an international sporting event, the Soviet Union came in third place while the imperialist United States finished next to last."

Remember that? I do. There were only three countries participating; France, US and USSR. Get it now?

And no, because 51 percent of voters are now proud members of the Free S*** Army, they gladly accept and believe all of Obama´s lies and will continue to do so. There is none so blind as he who will not see. Sure wish the GOP could figure that out but that´s impossible now as well.

#17--you are on target with Ms West´s book. American Betrayal should be required reading for conservatives. You might want to look a new novel, Special Access by Mark Hewitt. A CIA file proves the president is not who he claims to be, the CIA director blackmails him, and the hero of the book releases the file to the press. This is what should have happened.

The entire country is living on lies. Who can you believe ? The Regime, the IRS, Obama Care, the Treasury, the department of education, department of energy, Department of Human Services, the FBI, the CIA...you get my drift.

The country was formed on Christian values, which served this country well for a 150 years plus. The rule of law was revered, America and the Constitution were loved and respected by our citizens. Now the morality of our country is pitiful. The lie is the new standard for the federal government.

America has largely left God, our laws are disrespected/ignored and the reckless pursuit of diversity are three of the main reasons, I believe we are headed to real chaos. That may be what we need.

Many of my comments are about what propaganda does to the people. First, most of the people in the world are lemmings/sheeple. The pundits don´t talk about that. Either don´t understand this concept or they are shy to insult the lemmings. Second, the world is ruled by fear and propaganda. We are way inside the propaganda stage and are entering the fear stage. Why do you think all the gov´t agencies are doing what they are doing? And it won´t take much to beat us into submission. How long did it take for Hitler, Lenin/Stalin, Castro, Pol Pot?
So, I am not optimistic that sheeple will wake up. They are already in submission.

Obamacare has always been about CONTROL and DEPENDENCY on Government.
The Dems in charge don´t want people being able to afford healthcare on their own.

People who work, who are self-sufficient, who are independent, generally want LESS government, not more.
It follows that the more people they can drive into poverty, the more people they can get forced out of having a full time job, the more people they can get on the big ol´ Gov´t teat, they figure the more people will vote Dem to keep that teat available.

Washington - The CIA’s former top lawyer disputes Senate findings that the spy agency lied about its brutal interrogations of terrorists, insisting the tactics produced useful intelligence and flatly denying that the CIA misled the former Bush administration, Congress and the American public. At the same time, John Rizzo, who left the CIA as acting general counsel in 2009, said some CIA employees or contractors were overzealous in the use of the tactics but that the CIA informed lawyers at the Justice Department of the excesses. Rizzo was responsible for helping to create the legal foundation for permitting waterboarding,

Its name is the Ribbon of Saint George. Imbued with history, it’s a powerful symbol in the ongoing information battle over Ukraine. For Russians it´s a mark of allegiance to the state – both the fearsome, expansionist Russian state of old and its modern successor under President Vladimir Putin. When pro-Russia rallies took place last December, seeking to rival the Maidan demonstrations in Kiev, very few ribbons were seen.

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.
