‘Not even a SMIDGEN of corruption’:
Obama DOUBLES DOWN on IRS
targeting denial

Daily Caller, by Brendan Bordelon

Original Article

Posted By:ketchuplover, 2/3/2014 1:10:11 AM

President Barack Obama again denied any wrongdoing by the IRS over their targeting of conservative tea party groups, telling Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly there was “not even a smidgen of corruption” in the way the tax enforcer processed tea partiers’ 501(c)4 paperwork. (Snip) “So you’re saying there was no corruption there at all?” O’Reilly asked. “Absolutely not,” the president replied. “There were some bone-headed decisions out of a local office.” “But no mass corruption?” O’Reilly persisted. “Not even mass corruption,” a visibly-annoyed Obama replied. “Not even a smidgen of corruption.” It’s a far cry from Obama’s May 2013 statement called the targeting “outrageous.”

Comments:
Yes, Mr. President, not even a smidgeon....and the Benghazi massacre was merely a "bump in the road."

Be careful about the word ´corruption´. At one time it referred to what we would call bribery now. No one has said the IRS people were bribed or given favors.

Exactly what the word means in law today, or to Obama, or to media I can´t say.

If what Obama´s saying is the case, then why won´t he allow an IRS employee testify before congress?
Seriously, can this guy go 5 mins. without lying?

The prevaricator-in-chief wouldn´t recognize the truth if it walked up and goosed him!!! Every word out of his mouth is a lie including "if," "and" and "the!!!". In fact, if he told me that the sky was blue, grass was green and poop stank, I would check it for myself before accepting his word!!!

O´Reilly fashions himself as a "tough guy" but he is a wimp. He kissed the rear end of the "won". If he really had a "no spin zone" - why was he there talking to the liar in chief?

“There were some bone-headed decisions out of a local office.”

Haven´t some mid-level managers in the chain of command between the White House and the local office already testified under oath to the contrary? O´Reilly missed his chance by not asking why, then, he´s been audited 3 times since his interviewee took office.

It´s my understanding that the administration is giving the IRS a pass on this without having interviewed even one complainant. What kind of investigation is that???

Obama knew there was a huge audience out there, many of them LoFo, NoFo or Obama loyalists. So he bluffed a series of lies and dismissal of facts figuring he could get away with that and mix in a little FoxNews blame game to boot. I think BOR was shocked and taken off his game by Obama´s chutzpah. BOR should have approached it as the last interview he would ever get from Obama and really press the character. And he should have narrowed the scope. One or two subjects for 15 minutes and press the hell out of them. Make the clown sweat.

This lie is enough for impeachment as the cover up continues. "High crimes and misdemeanors" are not inclusive enough. He blames Fox news for all of his problems. He was obviously heavily medicated but not enough.

O´Reilly ended the interview by saying to Obama, "I think your heart is in the right place." Does anyone who is paying attention actually believe that Obama´s heart is in the right place? That he genuinely wants to serve this nation and help it to succeed? It is important for our media to alert the people that our nation is tottering on the brink of destruction. Polite platitudes are not appropriate.

I applaud Bill´s efforts to extract a confession from the liar in chief - but O is to slimy to get caught in that trap. The best thing to come from the interview is O´s obvious hatred for Fox News and that he can´t stand anyone saying anything negative about his motives and intentions.

It was a noble effort if for only the reason we could see so clearly what a liar O is when confronted with harsh facts.

All of this is a waste of time. O´reilly is a waste of time. Discussing it in the news is a waste of time. It makes no difference. Unless, the people in power with authority move. Form a select committee to investigate Benghazi. Get an independent prosecutor to look at the IRS. The Republican majority are cowards who will not do their oversight job and defend America and its citizens. In the meantime just a waste.

One simple fact I would like to see used to dispel the "local office" baloney is that the office to which he makes reference is THE office for the processing of 501C´s. This is done in Cincinnati, not all around the country in just any office. This is pure deception and an easy opening for O´Reilly to have used.

Hussein´s credentials are a redacted lie, and his years in office are packed in one continuous LIE after another.

The seriousness of this imposter´s mental disturbances
are beautifully described by forensic psychologist, Dr Paul Fick, in his second best selling book, available on Amazon, THE DESTRUCTIVE PRESIDENT.
Or, go directly to www.destructivepresident.com. and read a few of the athor´s descriptive pages of this greatly troubled person.
In the Clinton days, it was Paul Fick PhD, who wrote and spent three years on talk radio, presenting his first predictions of Slick Willie´s lying and sex predator days BEFORE Drudge broke the Monica Lewinsky story, and everything in Dr Fick´s book came true! Two great books, Clinton´s DYSFUNCTIONAL PRESIDENT, and now, Obama´s THE DESTRUCTIVE PRESIDENT !

Mickey Rooney, the pint-sized actor who was one of MGM’s giant box office attractions in the late ’30s and early ’40s, died on Sunday. He was 93. As adept at comedy as drama and an excellent singer and dancer, Rooney was regarded as the consummate entertainer. Last week, news broke that a congressional candidate in Gainesville had a secret pastime: impersonating vampires. And superheroes. Some people would call this nutty. In Florida, we just call it Tuesday. Seriously, that´s not even our highest-profile vampire story. Remember the "vampire killings" from Lake County? Some of our stories are heartbreakingly tragic. But so many are also mind-numbingly strange. In Florida, we do weird the way Kansas does wheat. Here, giant pet snakes escape. And breed. And then invade our national parks. The delegation has been lobbying in Washington during the St Patrick´s Day trip for reforms to benefit the 50,000 undocumented Irish there. Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. The Right Rev. Gene Robinson said in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of Mr. Obama behind a podium at the event: “POTUS ‘preaches’ at the Easter prayer breakfast. Then, out of the blue, asks ME to close with prayer. OMG!” Newsmax said he also emphasized that the words he chose to close the breakfast

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come
