Wendy Davis, unmasked
American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

Original Article

It is not exactly a surprise that the latest feminist political icon, Texas state Senator Wendy Davis, turns out to be a phony and an exploiter. Davis, you may recall, rocketed to progressive superstardom by conducting an ultimately futile filibuster on a bill tightening health regulations on abortions after 20 weeks of gestation when the life of the mother is not in peril. The fact that Davis is an attractive blond and speaks fairly well in public was enough to gladden the heart of the pro-abortion faction, eager to find a champion who can be packaged as an inspiring profile

Lying in federal court is the first requisite for martyrdom in the dem party.

It worked for Lizzie Warren and it will be a fine excuse for Abortion Barbie.

Generally speaking, Texans aren´t easily fooled folks. It won´t take them much time to figure out that Ms. Davis is, as we say down here, "All hat and no cattle." (For you non-Texans, that translates to "phoney as a $3 bill."

I would love to see Democrat party leaders in Texas say, "Enough! For the good of the state and the Republic, we will no longer nominate proven liars for high public office. Clean up your acts or don´t look to us for support."

Don´t hold your breath. "Democrat" stand for all kinds of "D" words- deceit is just one on a long, long list.

Another American hoax, but on a small scale compared to Obama. I see Pocahontas is mentioned in this story; she sure knew how to get ahead.

Surely most Texans know better than to support and promote this phony who became famous by wearing sneakers as she was basking in the ´glory´ of battling those meanies - pro-lifers. The narrative of her marriage and parenthood is cringeworthy. What a woman? No….not really!

One more comment on Wendy Davis. Readers of the DMN piece spotted the ex-husband´s financing of her Harvard tuition, but no one seemed to notice the TCU tuition that he also paid. The cost to attend Texas Christian University is nearly $40,000 per year for tuition alone. Only a wealthy husband could have underwritten that sort of money until she graduated law school, and, que milagro, Wendy happened to have found one. But, she didn´t need him afterward.

Fabricating a false biography may win points for Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts, but Texans will not put up with it. Very little of her campaign stash comes from Texans.

There are lots of other stories on Wendy not in Dallas Morning News. She ran as a Republican for Fort Worth City Council as her first attempt to gain public office. She lost an then sued the Fort Worth Star Telegram for "mental and physical Pain and suffering" over reporting of her dirty tactics.

http://therealwendy.com/wendy-...

She lost in three courts summary judgements as baseless but dragged it on for four years with last stop Texas Supreme Court. Working for a law firm you can do this type of frivolous tort action in your spare time. She is a power hungry pro abortion gold digger who will not fare well in Texas statewide politics.

My wife´s deceased husband worked for her father at his dinner theatre and he was not to be trusted at all. The apple fell under the tree.

She will have trouble breaking the 40% of vote come November and a look at her donors tell a true story. Barbara Steishand, et all and Emily´s List .

When enumerating the reasons you think Abortion Barbie will fail, please remember to factor in the Democrat Fraud Machine: the Communist Left has been building it for three generations, and then the Mulatto Communist came along and took it to an art form.

Never underestimate the Democrat bent to lie, cheat and steal. If Texas Republicans don´t have poll watchers in place across the state, they are inviting disaster.

And don´t ever forget that the Communist Left has vowed to turn Texas Blue. They can not do it in this state unless they lie, cheat and steal.

A campaign ad for Wendy appeared in my Google Adwords ads on Lucianne´s home page. I clicked on it to gig ´Windy´ for a few cents. Google Adwords charges their clients ´per-click´ and each time an advertisement is clicked the website it was clicked on gets a few cents and the website "clicked-to" gets charged about 10 to 20 times as much. This benefits Lucianne, and hurts Windy as there is no way I´ll donate to her campaign. Used to do this with PETA, Sierra Club, etc....but their ads stopped appearing for me; guess they figured me out. Anything that benefits Lucianne and harms these fools has to be a good thing. Besides, it feels really good. If curious, check out how Google Adwords works online.

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally
