Meanwhile, Obama´s Job Approval

Independent Journal Review, by Mike Miller

Bad news for the White House: The percentage of Americans who approve of the way Barack Obama is handling his job has dropped back into the 30s, according to the latest poll results from Gallup. Over the three-day period that ended Wednesday, 39 percent of Americans now approve of Obama’s performance as President of the United States. One wonders what impact Obama’s recent “I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone” declaration, in which he vowed to use every tool at his disposal – principally, the executive order – to circumvent the U.S. Congress to implement his agenda, will have

The Democrats’ problems are serious – more serious than is indicated by Obama’s 39% approval rating. One of the indicators is that the knowledgeable Democrats know they will not take the House in 2014. George Miller, a Democrat and the ranking member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce is from a safe district in California. He would be in line for a committee chairmanship if the Democrats took the House. He has decided to retire.

Obie could care less what his numbers are these days. The dim intelligencia is already kniving how to fool us (the sheep and the election sitter-outers, really) again via the msm to steal the 2014 and 2016 election. But, it´s up to us to tear down this wall and put this progressive cancer on the run for a hundred years.

Obama´s approval rating could be in single digits and you would not see one change in the way he conducts himself or the policies he sets forth. He is on a mission and he is focused on that. When he turns on the TV, does he see story after story slamming him and his agenda? No, of course not. The propaganda machine will praise him to the end of his term and beyond. They blame anyone and everything but their boy king. He is wrapped in a cacoon of yes men/women and believes he is infallible. Polls will not deter him. He sees himself an exceptional President who will go down in history as one of the greats. He expects monuments will be erected in his honor. The fact that falling poll numbers may effect his fellow democrats means nothing to this narcissist. He believes in his heart that he is the one we have been waiting for.

The Real Clear Politics average is at 42.4%. It would be lower if Rasmussen didn´t keep reporting results 6 to 10 points higher than everyone else. As of today they have Obama´s approval rating at 50%. No wonder Scott Rasmussen resigned last year.

The truth is that the uninformed and dead heads approve and the rest don´t.

Better to take the median than the mean when data is so skewed. The median for the most recent five polls on the Real Clear Politics site is 41. Still not in the 30´s. Bush was in the 40´s and then the 30´s most of his second term and still finished his term. So will Barry. If Gallup were accurate, Romney would have won.

Thanks for pointing that out. While the average is 42.4, the median is more accurate at 41.

Interestingly, if we discard the highest and lowest numbers (50 and 39) the average becomes 41.

Ever hear anyone say in 2012 that they decided 0 was doing such a great job that they were voting dem then, rather that republican? Hear anyone say they had to switch to dem? No, of course not. How many people said they voted for him the first time, but couldn´t vote for him a second time? Many, yet the dems still won. The dems have found a way to steal elections, and that is what the did in 2012, and will do in all future elections. There were whole precincts in Philly where there were NO republican votes at all. Like 20 or 30. So...folks....we are in deep she....i...t. And the gonad-less repubbies will not/did not do anything.

People would have to vote in such overwhelming numbers against them, and that is no longer possible. Too many illegals, commies, socialist Marxist types, occupiers, and dumb a**es. The MoronKing´s approval rating is meaningless.
Heartbreakingly sad, the great experiment is over.

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the many great contributions of the Black community and their culture to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbors, lending estimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture.Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real Estate values are fueled by the influx of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nurturing of these communities, an example of all they have achieved by their enthusiasm for self-improvement through hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

Harry Reid isn’t backing down from his claim that rancher Cliven Bundy’s supporters are “domestic terrorists.” It’s astonishing rhetoric given the White House’s characterization of the mass shooting by a genuine terrorist, Major Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 Americans at the Fort Hood Army base after yelling “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great.) Rather than labeling Hasan’s actions “domestic terrorism,” the Obama administration is prosecuting him for having committed “workplace violence.” Democratic rhetoric is become ever more desperate and overheated as we approach the November midterm elections. Last week, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that GOP positions on immigration were motivated by

The Obama administration is poised to change regulations to allow for union “ambush elections” in which workers have less time to decide whether or not to join a union — and in which workers’ phone numbers and home addresses are provided to unions. The administration’s National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) proposed rules would allow for union elections — in which workers at a company vote whether or not to unionize — to be held 10 days after a petition is filed. And what, exactly, would be happening to the unions during those 10 days? The new rules require employers to disclose

What happens when presidents lie? The American public has had plenty of experience with this in recent years. Liar-president could be the new hyphenate occupation like writer-producer or architect-contractor. Almost every president has shaded things a bit, but three modern ones have been unabashed bull artists — Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton and, of course, Barack Obama. Clinton ultimately got a pass for his prevarications. Nixon didn’t. Neither deserved one. But our current liar-president deserves one even less, because his lies have been of substance, affecting policy. Nixon and Clinton just lied in self-defense — normal human cowardice. When President Obama trumpeted the 8 million figure representing people who had signed up for ObamaCare, he didn’t just declare it a victory. He declared the debate over — and told Republicans “it’s well time to move on.” Now, we understand the eagerness of politicians to declare debates over. It’s certainly easier than defending ObamaCare’s broken promises, or even providing the breakdowns behind that 8 million top-line number that would let us measure if the program is getting the sign-ups it needs. Increasingly, however, it seems that the “shut up and move on” trope has become the go-to response of liberals on

Over 2 billion people are celebrating Easter today, April 20, as the calendars of Western and Eastern churches coincide this year, and these billions of faithful people are celebrating HOPE. The Easter message begins with the hopeful news that death has been overcome by life, that hatred has been overcome by love, and that sorrow has been overcome by joy. The elements of the story involve women arriving at a garden tomb and finding it empty, but even better, meeting the risen Lord, the embodiment of life and love. WHAT ARE the implications for Taiwan of China’s continued rise? Not today. Not next year. No, the real dilemma Taiwan will confront looms in the decades ahead, when China, whose continued economic growth seems likely although not a sure thing, is far more powerful than it is today. Contemporary China does not possess significant military power; its military forces are inferior, and not by a small margin, to those of the United States.
