Springsteen, Fallon mock Christie
with ´Born to Run´ parody

Breitbart Big Hollywood, by John Nolte

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 1/15/2014 11:26:06 AM

Embattled New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has never made any secret of his man-crush on New Jersey rocker Bruce Springsteen, and until Hurricane Sandy hit it was an unrequited crush. The relationship seemed to take a turn in the immediate wake of the hurricane when Christie literally and figuratively embraced President Obama. According to some reports, Christie was so thrilled to meet Springsteen he "wept" afterwards. The friendship, though, appears to be fair-weather, at least as far as Springsteen is concerned. Tuesday night on Jimmy Fallon´s late night show, the rocker mocked Christie with his signature Jersey hit "Born to Run.":

Comments:
Christie, like McCain, will never learn that no matter how big of a show he makes in hating conservatives.....liberal leftists will never love him.

Is this the same Springsteen that had a hit anti-Americian song in ther 1970s? Didn´t know he was still around.

In the liberal mind, liberalism (and being cool) are paramount; actual people are sacrificed to "the cause" without hesitation.

When are conservatives going to learn this? Liberals will never change into decent people, never! Liberals are self-serving jerks at their core, and always will be. A liberal will throw anyone under the bus at any time, to demonstrate his coolness. We conservatives like individual people more than any ideology. The liberal and conservative world-views can never, ever be reconciled.

Bruce Springsteen just proved that he is nothing but a run-of-the-mill liberal jerk. (I never liked his music all that much either...)

No need for intense analysis. Mockery of pols is a sign of freedom among the governed.

And the emotional doughboy, Christie, makes a natural target when he is forced to tap dance.

IMO the highway closure story is over for now.

In 2015 or 2016 it will warm up again if Christie seems a likely nominee. Retired NJ Dems will suddenly remember details galore and several mistresses will be made famous for five minutes, etc.

Let us not forget that Barry Uhhhhbama had Struce Bringsteen call Christie in the post-Sandy ´afterglow´ that came from their intense storm related love affair.

Haven´t heard much from Paul Shanklin in a great while, but seems like someone could do a great parody on Obama using this song and retitle it, "Born to Hide," "Born to Golf," or "Born to Spend"

Sharyl Attkisson hasn’t landed yet, but there’s every reason to suppose she’s not going to finish her career in local news in Duluth. For starters, Atkinson is an accomplished reporter. But she’s also taken one of the surefire moves to help ensure her relevance – not to mention potential TV and book contracts – by criticizing the very media establishment in which she spent her career. It’s an increasingly well-traveled path: Over the course of the past two decades, a handful of journalists have left mainstream media jobs while decrying what they saw as an inherent bias in their own industry.

For decades, rapid economic growth has been the norm for developed countries. An educated workforce, a large population boom, major technological advances, and abundant fossil fuels were the key components of growth, generating substantial and broadly distributed increases in standards of living in many countries. We have grown so used to such growth that we inevitably view it as a panacea for a host of economic ills, whether it´s a deep recession or income inequality. We now understand, however, that the postwar growth paradigm is not environmentally sustainable. We also know that the shared prosperity it once delivered is itself
