Obama´s Apocryphal Kenya Trip
American Thinker, by Jack Cashill

In 1994 or early 1995 the still unknown Barack Obama sent his editor at Times Books, Henry Ferris, the first two-thirds of his memoir Dreams from My Father. He told Ferris that to complete the book, he had to return to Kenya to do some research. The evidence strongly suggests that Obama went not to Kenya to do that research but to the local library to do some borderline plagiarizing. In the way of background, Barack and Michelle Obama visited Kenya in the summer of 1992 and married in October of that year. There is little dispute about the timing of

This assumes the moron has the intellectual capacity to plagiarize. It was Ayers who probably did the spade work.

Jack Cashill just keeps on digging and digging. I appreciate that he´s probably now like an infected sliver in Dear Leader´s finger. You poke at it and it goes a little deeper with each attempt to dislodge it. Then it begins to fester. I certainly hope Cashill doesn´t have any mysterious driving ´´incidents´´. He appears to be one of the few journalists who is trying to get the real story.

Fascinating. Cashill has Obama by the short hairs. It could not be more manifestly obvious to me that Obama´s "autobiography" was written by someone else about a fabricated life. I´m proud I was never suckered by this fraud.

Obama is too lazy to do the work. He let someone else do the research and write his book while he collected the money. Typical politician who is full of HUBRIS. Keep up the good work, Jack. We need journalists like you.

A great piece by Cashill, bolstered by the work of serious Obama digger Shawn Glasco, described in Cashill´s 2011 piece here and linked in the posted article:

It is pretty clear that these intrepid researchers/writers have Obama cornered. But will anyone care?l

I admire and appreciate those who are digging for the truth, no matter where it leads. We deserve it. Thank you, Mr. Cashill, for your courage and persistence.

Obama is phony from the top of his head to his tippy toes, and nothing has come close to convincing me otherwise. I´m often reminded of Eastwood´s comment about this American "Hoax". So true, and a cruel and scary one, to be sure.

This is dangerous territory, Jack. As long as you are just an annoying "sliver" they will ignore you and do the Alinsky dance of mocking and ridiculing you. However, if you get to a point where you hit a real nerve, accidents happen. This is the Clinton rule, the Chicago way and while it can´t be proved, something odd happened to Breitbart. These people are dangerous. Plus, as we saw with the Clintons, when they lied, the press argued that it was a good thing. When a Repub does it, it becomes a deadly sin and something to notice.

I appreciate the diligent efforts of Jack Cashill and others in uncovering the details of Barry´s past. They have been doing the work the LSM should have done six years ago.

But what will all of this digging really lead to? A collective yawn from the very groups that are zeroing in on Christie over lane closures.

John Podhoretz perhaps put it best recently as to ´why´. "Christie belongs to one political party. Obama belongs to the other. You know which ones they belong to. And you know which ones the people at the three networks belong to, too: In surveys going back decades, anywhere from 80% to 90% of Washington’s journalists say they vote Democratic."

I think we can generally agree that someone wrote the book for Obama - a compilation of plagiarism, exaggeration and outright lies. Also, the establishment has an unwritten agreement to cover-up facts about Obama at least until he leaves office - then some of these co-conspirators will not be able to resist publishing a "tell all" - and it will be shocking.

Given what is known everything about this man should come into question. Things once passed off as ludicrous suddenly don´t seem so in light of the grand scale lying that has been revealed. But to the curious we knew things weren´t so nice as the tidy package presented in 2008.

I am still astounded how well those who questioned his birth have been discredited as fringe wacko´s when Obama himself was the original purveyor of the notion he was born in Kenya. Let´s face it at a minimum we all should have known he was either not eligible to be POTUS or a phony and therefore not qualified. How difficult was that? Many had to work very hard not to accept the harm they were inflicting on the country, their neighbors, and others around world who had come to rely on us.

In some ways it´s a public responsibility to demonstrate that we have a sitting president who is a congenital liar. On the other hand, it´s sad to see researchers go to these lengths to prove the obvious. Every time Fauxbama speaks he contradicts himself. Bill Ayers ´is just a guy from his neighborhood´??? Fauxbama is incapable of telling the truth; that is obvious to anyone with a functioning central nervous system. But some don´t yet believe it . . . so soldier on.

The man is a fraud. Period. So once you start there.. where else do you need to go. There hasn´t been one article or piece of evidence or record of any meeting that proves to me the man is anything other than a coddled boy who was abandoned by both parents, given every opportunity because of his skin color. Add to that his hatred for America that was instilled in him by mentors at a crucial age.

Once we are free from this man, let the analysis begin. But reality is, most who went "all in" for him in the media, and in the general public, will not want to admit they were had.

To add to #22 - regrettably I think Obama´s hatred of this country is also held by too many of my fellow citizens. And that will not change after he leaves office.

I hear commentators lament how before the 1960s, the two political parties could disagree but it wasn´t so toxic as it is now. I think that prior to the 1960s, the vast majority of Americans, regardless of party, felt the same way about America; they loved this country and what it stood for in the world. Now - if you love (and voice it) this country you´re attacked as stupid, zenophobic, racist, sexist, homophobic, religious fanatic (worse than a bomd carrying Muslim), etc. But we´re all supposed to reach across the aisle, right?

Jack and Shawn are risking their lives by digging up such obvious Barry driven malevolence.
Thanks to the real life heroism of CASHILL and GLASCO, the truth is more rapidly erupting out into the public eye, and the blinded Congress, NYTimes, and NY

MLK got a free pass by the intellectual elites for his plagiarism. They will show no trace of moral outrage at Obama´s plagiarism, either.

Just like the MSM never took Biden to task for saying he always likes to go to a small local shop in Delaware to hang out with the regular folk, when it turned out the shop had closed decades earlier.

Like Bridgegate out the wazoo, but no Benghazi.

A major concern of progressives is their supposed interest in the fate of the poor. They purport to be the champions of the poor. But the truth is that they need the poor more than the poor need them, in a symbiotic relationship. As much as 75% of the money allocated to the poor is consumed by the vast bureaucracies that administer this aid. These agencies are actually job programs for college graduates who would often find it difficult to find employment in the private sector. The clumsiness and incoherence, if not madness, of this administration’s foreign policies are creating havoc around the world. Early on in the Genesis chapter of the Bible much is made of Adam giving names to all living creatures. Like everything about the Bible, the meaning of this event is subject to many interpretations, the most often given is that it signals man’s dominion over the other creatures of the earth. I don’t dispute that reading, but to me, the naming description signifies that there can be no real communication among people unless the names we use mean the same thing to all of us. A spade certainly is a garden implement, but if you are in the gardening

But the civilized world, mainly the Anglosphere, has long shown its utter indifference to human life by ignoring mass killings on a scale surpassed only by the Nazis and the Communists in the last century. Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No
