Establishing a U.S. State Religion
American Thinker, by Fay Voshell

Original Article

Posted By:magnante, 1/10/2014 9:46:04 AM

In direct contradiction of the First Amendment, which forbids the establishing of a state religion, the Obama administration is busily doing just that. Meanwhile, it is attempting forced conversion of the reluctant, all the while targeting Christians and Orthodox Jews as people who are continually violating the establishment of religion clause. Just what religion is our current administration establishing in direct violation of the Constitution of the United States? It is establishing the faith of secular statism, a religion currently characterized by the tenets of radical progressivism. Statism is rapidly becoming the only faith in America allowed to operate with complete freedom.

I think its quite a stretch to call progressivism (what controls the state at the present & the new name for Communism) a religion. It is certainly a mental disorder that the APA has yet to define.

Be that as it may, the new think in this nation is really only two classes- one is "Lazy Think"- or just don´t bother to engage - I call those people, "Mallists" for they are happy as long as they can still freely go to the Mall or what ever.

The other class in power is the "Ape-ist"- rather than bother thinking about issues, they prefer to be told what to think and say. They merely "Ape" what ever they think is popular at the time. It makes them "feel" engaged, but they are not energetic enough to challenge the rhetoric of the talk shows and what ever else they are told to think about the issues by the "feel good" crowd.

These two classes cover about 60% of the sleeping Americans in this nonsense of a nation we now live in.

Until these people are shocked to their cores and forced to re-engage in the American experience, the so-called "Stateism" will continue to flourish.

In other words, HHS and the DOJ are essentially saying to the nuns, "You yourselves don´t have to do it, but you have to allow someone else to do it on behalf of your order." That´s legal casuistry at its most serpentine. Monk also reports the DOJ demands [...] "the Little Sisters must sign a ´self-certification´ form claiming eligibility for an exemption from the mandate, or pay millions in fines [...]."

Biden and Pelosi have been conspicuously silent on this issue. Why is that?

Biden in particular seems concerned about his soul as he noted during the installation service for Pope Francis. This has been described as a joke by ABC.

“We invited the American cardinals to a reception,” Biden told Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic during a bilateral meeting today, according to the print pool reports. “So unless I’m prepared to join the Eastern Orthodox Church, as a Roman Catholic, I’d better show up or I’ll lose my soul.”

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/03/biden-jokes-ill-lose-my-soul-if-he-misses-cardinal-reception/

Missing a cocktail party will sentence him to Hell, but forcing nuns to violate their religious beliefs must be okay with him. As part of this administration, he´s equally responsible ... as is Pelosi, among others.

Why is no one asking Joe Biden about what he meant when he said the following during the 2012 VP debate? Was this also a joke?

"With regard to the assault on the Catholic Church, let me make it absolutely clear,” Biden said. “No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise, including Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital—none has to either refer for contraception. None has to pay for contraception. None has to be a vehicle to get contraception in any insurance policy they provide. That is a fact. That is a fact."

Whatever is the highest authority a man recognizes in his life, that is his god.

For the atheist, it is himself. I can accept that. As long as he doesn´t demand my subservience to his god.

For the socialist, it is the collective. I can accept that if it involves a contractual community imposed on no dissenter.

Every tyranny fears the God of the Bible, because individual rights are affirmed, and theft is forbidden, even for those funding "acts of charity."

This is not mere wordplay. The writer is dead serious. The reality is dead serious.

0bama and his acolytes are promoting socialism, communism, jihadism and suppressing the Judeo-Christian values that made this once great nation what it had been.

0bama wants to fundamentally transform what our Founding Fathers, in service to "the Laws of Nature and of Nature´s God," had given us.

I join in holy war against 0bama and his ungodly false religion!

The enemy within walks among us and his name is worshipped and revered. How one man can do the damage being done and seeing there is no one or thing that can stop him, is extremely dangerous and shocking. I never thought I would see the day but I re-registered to vote as a Democrat to hopefully avoid being targeted by the government. As in ancient army warfare, if you were captured by the other side, they would offer you the opportunity to join them and live to fight with them, or die. Guess what most did. Nothing changes. Even now, when I vote, they put the ballot number that I voted next to my name on the voter list I signed. So there is no secret ballot any more. They know what party you are in and they know who you vote for. So I may not even vote now because I am seriously afraid of the government.

"Establishing a U.S. State Religion"

A US religion or a state religion ?

We were established as a Judeo Christian nation. Something change (besides the country since Zippy arrived) ?

Odd they want to work on religion since Washington won´t declare English as our national language even though English is the international language.

America´s school children have had enough and they´re not going to take it anymore.
